Some thoughts on exporting sounds

Hello everybody,

(I didn't find any therad for the export of sounds, so I made this one)

I imported some sound files raw into audacity and noted that (pretty much) every sound uses another bitrate.

I can't asume the correct bitrate, but they change between

- 16400 bit/s and

- 11025 bit/s

Here are some sounds I exported:

(I compressed them to .mp3)

Some sounds I imported with 16400 bit/s:

321.mp3

GRPHIT_16400.mp3

Sounds I imported with 11025 bit/s:

GO.mp3

GRPHIT_11000.mp3

(You can hear the difference between GRPHIT_16400 and 11025)

The sounds just need some extra work and then they are useable.

I will update the post later to add the missing sounds, so you can download all exported sounds

Greetings

The tutorials section should be the first place you look for this kind of stuff. ;)

Once they are imported, you can export them to any format you wish. Playback rate is variable in the sound effects than in the music (consequently SFX may not always import at the correct speed and I haven't looked into the bitrates), but it still works.

Of course, I looked into that topic :D

A guy wrote a post that he was looking for the sound effects and didn't found them.

(Anyway, I didn't find them neither, so I made this topic.)
