I have a HP pavilion HPE with W7. I got the game disk from a pal of mine by the name Kian patrick Phair. I got the LMS file from a fellow RRU user by the name of the Doctor and the Universal Extractor from another user who I will need to look up. I got the two programs to get LRR to game ready but when I tell the LMS program to run the game it tell me the exe is not 64-bit compat and none of the windows compat settings can override the compat message. please Help if you can by posting it here and sending a message to me as well(Optional). IF this is a copy of another Topic then that is my bad just got the account today and the RRU site is big as is plus it is my first Topic.

If you attempt to start LRR by it's exe file, does it show the same message? As far as I am aware LRR and 64bit OS's work fine together.

Yes same message, I chatted with a tech a geek squad and she tell me the game is not ready for 64-bit OS systems, I have e-mailed Lego about it and they have not got back with me. I made a post on Facebook to see if I can get hype on one of two ideas: 1-Lego updates the game and gives us a patch for it or 2-Sends the game over to GOG.com and have them get the game to work. I have been thinking I just got a bad copy of the game. if you say the game is good for this type of computer OS and I am having an error then the game must have bad copes out in the world that look like true copes of the game.

I think I know what is going on. Yes, while Rock Raiders is not 64-bit compatible, there are actually two exes on the disc, only 16-bit (which will not work), and the other 32-bit (which will work). Follow this >tutorial on installing the game manually, and upon finishing that, you should no longer have this error (and move onto working out any gameplay issues you may have, but that is another story :P). :)

I have installed the game manually but only got the 16-bit exe. Where can I find this 32-bit exe and how to unlock the exe so it can run the game from the folder that is on the desktop.

Steps 5 and 6 in the tutorial:

Step 5

In the disc you will see a folder named 'EXE'. Inside is an exe and icd file, copy these.

Step 6

In the location you extracted the 'data.cab' paste those copied files and click 'yes' to overwriting. The reason for this is because the exe within the 'data.cab' file is for 16bit systems whereas the one in the 'EXE' folder is compatible with 32bit and 64bit systems.
