legorr2020
I would really want to know, because I want to record gameplay for some possible future videos.

The Ace Railgun
Right now I just use the QuickTime recording software that came with my Mac.

Ben24x7
At this moment of time I use iShowU which is horrible when it comes to recording games. The application was made to record things you do on-screen and when I record games either it shows a black screen or does record but with choppy framerate and no sound. Soo... ...yeah I wouldn't say I have the best recording software around.

Drill Master
https://obsproject.com/ I use OBS: Open Broadcaster Software. It's free, open source, and works rather well for recording games and such.
aidenpons
HyperCam. It's not GREAT, but it records stuff so that you can see what you did. Plus it's free and has nothing that pops up on the side saying 'Fraps.com' which mildly annoyed me. Yes, there are ads, but they're for other HyperCam stuff and frankly not a problem at all, as they're not distracting nor intrusive.
lol username
Usually Fraps (full version, not yarharfiddledeedee'd). In the occasion I need something else I've used HyperCam or CamStudio.

Fifi La Fume
Definitely FRAPS, nothing else really comes close. (I don't own the full version, though.)
noghiri
DXTory. Higher visual quality than FRAPS (which has a certain level of compression), similar file size, and less of a frame rate drop (on my hardware). It's what TotalBiscuit uses too.
