emily
An image of the box of the next modular building, 10246 Detective's Office, has surfaced. It continues the trend introduced with the Parisian Restaurant by implementing a unique and distinctive architecture, while maintaining the same footprint as its predecessors. We'll have the titular office, a barber shop, a couple of apartments and by the looks of it possibly even a pool (EDIT: and by that I mean I obviously know it is talking about billiards, thats obvious and I wasn't confused) all packed into this one model, with an ally to inspect for evidence to boot. Jimbob
Awesome! LEGO modular buildings are such wonderful constructions, and this is no exception. Also, I can't tell from the image - are they new scissors above the barber shop window? Unless scissors aren't a new piece and I've never seen them before. The only thing I'm not sure about with this set is naming the detective after Ace Ventura, the comedy movie which really isn't appropriate for kids. Then again with their suggested age rating of 16+ I guess it's okay.

I think the scissors will be new for this set. They'll be released simultaneously in some of the 2015 Elves sets, as well.

ProfessorBrickkeeper
I started collecting all the modulars in their second year, and haven't stopped since. They have rarely let me down with their designs, and this is no exception. The more gritty and patched design of the Detective Agency is quite an interesting change in tone from of the other modulars.
