Today I was thinking about we could all be a team and make newer Lego racers 2! For example these things! *New worlds and tracks! *New music's and sounds! *New menu! *New cars and sets! *New and old bosses *New characters! *Maybe add 2 more bots to race with you that well be 10 racers including the player! *Better graphics! *Better animations! *Instead of the Lego language we could put English voice language or just subtitles! *Newer story! We could make a newer version of Lego racers 2 of these or we can make Lego racers 3! I'm just suggesting if we can do it! I'm not forcing you guys to do this I'm just asking if we can do this! RR Rocks Posted January 4, 2015 Share Posted January 4, 2015 I'm sorry if I'm going to sound a bit blunt about this, but unless you can actively contribute to and control / organize such a mod / game, while keeping morale and motivation up, this cannot and will not happen. This community has tried a community overhaul of Rock Raiders before, which ended up dead from neglect / lack of organization. It takes a LOT more then good intend and a few encouraging words to complete this goal too, you would need people for everything from modelling to coding to UI design. These kind of resources can't be gained out of a small community such as this. While it is good to want to see something done, it is a lot better to get something done. For starters if you could provide a basic, but promising base for a project of this kind, then people might go on board with the idea. I, as a modeller who has contributed unpaid work for many ultimately failed projects, can tell you, that you can't come bursting in as an "ideas guy" and expect people to catch on with the idea and make it a reality. So, yeah, unless you can do something to motivate the community to see this as a completable project, you're probably not going to see this happen. Not yet possible, well, new routes is minorly possible, but making new landscapes isn't yet. >Shadowblaze composed a music pack specifically for this game. Can do. Well, not changing the layout of the menu if you want to go that far, we only change just the images. Can do! We can't make models yet, and even if so, there is no known way to change racers in a race. Can somewhat do, by switch models around, but I think it would be best to wait for modeling to be possible.
