emily
There's already some buzz about it in the profile feed, so here's your news report: The latest Ideas review stage has come to a close, and out of the dust have emerged two new (licensed) LEGO sets. Dr. Who made his way from the first 2014 review period into approval, while Wall-E made no delays and comes straight from the June-September body of contestants. le717
Wall-E? Depending on pricing, that may be one I get. It certainly appeals to me more than Doctor Who. Fush
Ayliffe
The BBC's official press release for the set also features a teaser image of a Capaldi minifig: It's not much to go on, but it does reveal a new mold for the hairpiece, which hasn't been done for a single ideas set before. Any chance we're possibly getting more than one set? eagleeyedan
eagleeyedan
I'm super glad to see none other than Angus McClane's set pass! He's been a hero of mine since he was interviewed by the LEGO Club show a few years ago. I love his Cube Dude models.
Cyrem
Nothing interesting here for me. The SC Hornet better be chosen in the next set. What happened to the other presenter?
Jimbob
I'm pleased with the outcome, and depending on the design of the Doctor Who kit I most likely will buy one (being a bit of a "Whovian") myself.

Ayliffe
Set accidentally revealed via TLG sending out catalogues early! EDIT: Press release! Construct a stunningly detailed LEGO® version of the iconic TARDIS® and role-play the Doctor’s time-travel adventures! Created by fan-designer Andrew Clark and selected by LEGO Ideas members, this set is based on the BBC’s popular and long-running television series about a Time Lord – the Doctor – exploring the universe in a blue police box. Due to trans-dimensional engineering, the TARDIS is bigger on the inside than the outside and this cool multifunctional set includes the console room that houses all the flight controls. Regenerate the Doctor and defeat the evil Daleks™ and a Weeping Angel with the help of his extraordinary companion Clara. Then close the doors of the TARDIS and launch into another dimension! Includes 4 minifigures with assorted accessory elements: the Eleventh Doctor, the Twelfth Doctor, Clara Oswald and a Weeping Angel, plus 2 Daleks™. Now please excuse me, I have some money to shove in TLG's face: Quisoves Potoo and MaelstromIslander
Zeb
The Tewlfth Doctor in the Eleventh's purple suit AND the Eleventh in his original suit... WITH A FEZ? 2 Daleks + Weeping Angel?!? 623 pieces for $60 - Meaning this is a licensed Ideas set with a 10 cents per piece price?!? This set is incredible. IncogM
I have zero interest in Dr Who, so I'm glad I don't feel the need to purchase that, but that looks incredibly well made. I'm going to have to copy that design for a scifi control room of some sort.
CrashDSB
The TARDIS, it looks so beautiful. Please pardon me while I go scrambling around the house looking for any available money. (jk) But seriously, I cannot be more hyped than I am right now for this.

aidenpons
The Doctor Who ideas set is out today! ...aaaaaaaand it's already out of stock online. Well that was quick. Lego releasing it now is a bit of a blunder. They say their factories can't cope with the current demand, then they go release a TARDIS. Are they trying to overload their systems?
