Here are some of the COMPLETE ships I've built, with some descriptions and shtuff. I have two others, one being a largish cruiser with a pneumatically-powered missile that actually fires, but somehow I lost a lot of the detail pieces despite having put them INSIDE of the ships. Most of these are in spoilers so I don't slow anyone's computer down:

C-90-F Custom

The C-90 was originally a multi-platform reconnaissance craft manufactured by the Black Sect. It's unusual in that the Black Sect are a bunch of pirates and mercenaries, so they usually just steal stuff, but this is an original design. When I went undercover into the BS, I converted one of the damaged C-90s into a fighter by rigging the stability fins to move up and down, seen below. I also added a harpoon missile rack to it, seen later:

Here you can see the cargo bay, which has small arms being hidden by large arms. No really, my blazer uzi is underneath the solar missile since if I put it in the cockpit it just rattles around. The orange rod is part of my lightsabre which is also stored in there. If these were real, they wouldn't really be stored back there, but in LEGO format it's nice to have an actual storage place. Also, the solar missile is basically really powerful napalm in missile format. Remember that when metal is hot it gets weaker, so that lets me punch through really thick armor if the need arises. Unfortunately I only have one of them at a time.

Here's me in my pilot suit:

Here's the inside of the cockpit. Note the panel with actual aviation stuff.

Here's the harpoon missile rack and landing gear:

Space Police 2011 Concept Cruiser

Whoops a Blacktron/sect prisoner broke out of jail and jacked one of the new prototype cruisers. That's really the only story behind it.

Story reason for only three missiles: The guy used one to destroy a garage door to escape. Real reason: I only have three flick-fire missiles.

Comes with a free Mini Destroyer! These are multi-purpose bots that can hover, carry stuff, defend targets, and other droidly things. They can transform into a few things too by taking their components apart and rearranging them. These were made by my older brother at least 15 years ago, and the design has never changed. The backpack can be either cones or cylinders, and of course the colors can be different, but it's the one LEGO design that I've never messed with.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

F-Zero Autobot Crossover

You heard right. Now, I've made a bunch of transforming legos, and I do have pictures of some of my older ones, but this is the only one that's been kept together.

Notice that the cockpit is fully functional.

But what's this?

It's only slightly poseable.

Limited Pieces Challenge: R-Type Fighter

Ever played R-Type? This is what I was going for here. The actual R-80 or whatever it is has way more detail, but I was doing a limited pieces challenge like I do sometimes and I started to see this. Not much to say on this one, except that the only reason it is red is because of how the challenge works. I start with a pile of bricks and can't use anything else. These just happened to be red.

Thank you for your words, but I wasn't trying to take a picture of myself. The only camera I have is the one built into my laptop, and I have to press the mouse button to take a picture (no timer). Besides, I'm sure you've all seen an arm before.

And a hand, and a leg, and a body...still nice very nice. I dont have any legos..well i do i just lost them.

TheEPICtrainrider

Great, Now everytime time I talk to you I'm going to imagine you in a red shirt and jeans.

Also, this is really nice. It makes me want to start building again (I haven't built a Lego... thing... in a while)

Here are some things that my brother Kevin made. He's always had an affinity for piloting huge freighters and bombers, so that's what he tends to make. And yes, Kevin is one of my real brothers, not a fictional one in case you were wondering. He doesn't make backstories for his creations like I do, but I'll post what I know.

At first it seems innocent enough. It's a heavily armored bomber with a small payload (the grey hatches). The bombs are the completely black heads from the Clone Trooper sets, and each hatch holds two. One of my bombers holds four per hatch, but that's for later. The green dots towards the front of the ship are... somewhat like low-power tractor beams to hoist small cargo loads, but you'll see what they can really do in a minute. You may also notice the concealed landing gear, which works way better than the gear on the C-90-F. But you may be wondering, "what is all that armor hiding?" Well...

HOLY FRUITS! This isn't just a bomber, it's a mini-class host station like the Ghorkovian Turantul I!

The only way it can power all of these weapons for an extended period of time is to siphon energy from somewhere else, or to just use half of its weapons. It can run the main front laser with either both busters or both turrets when it is flying on its own, but give it a remote energy supplementation system and it turns into a small base that can create its own units through plasma formation technology. That's what those green dots are really for. And if you were wondering, the shield-breaker missiles (because that's what they do) come out from a double-hinged hatch in the back, then the hatch can close up around it.

This ship doesn't have any backstory at all because it was just a proof of concept, as far as I know. Like LEGO®(copyright)(trademark)(allrightsreserved) we go through stages of gimmicks. The most recent gimmick is having weapons and tools pop out from concealed places all over our creations, like the previous ship and my C-90-F's solar missile.

Finally, I actually helped with this monstrosity. It doesn't have a name, but it has one hell of a history since it's part of a short line of gigantic freighters.

http://www.rockraidersunited.org/uploads/user/1264275995.zip

There are too many pictures to post, so I zipped them up, but I'll summarize. This is a two-story five-pound beast that needs tank treads as landing gear because everything else we tried bent or BROKE. It has two hangars for scouting vehicles, one in the back and one on port side, a mounting point for a larger craft on starboard, living quarters and a relaxation area, four small turrets but capital-class shield generators (the green saucer pieces), a sliding door to get from the hangars to the control room and a trap door from there to get to the second floor. On the second floor there are flip-down tables and beds, a refrigerator and television, dressers and cabinets, and weapon racks. In regards to the hangars, yes there is enough room for people to stand in there. The vehicles just take up most of the space.

This is the third freighter that we've built, but unfortunately most of the pieces are in the above two ships now. It was retired rather than destroyed, and I did get plenty of pictures so it's okay. The first freighter was made around 5-6 years ago, but was only one story tall. It was bigger than this in length and could carry a ship a bit smaller than that red bomber above within itself. You could drop it in, close the roof, and you wouldn't even know it was there. It had two huge wings with really big engines mounted on them, and I think they could angle too, but that may have just been the mounting points. It was destroyed when one of us dropped it to carry it to another room, and we have one or two pictures of it, but it was the inspiration for our megafreighter builds. I've built the second freighter independently and I almost finished the second edition of it, but this is the one I mentioned in my first post where I'm missing most of the detail pieces like wings, cannons, and the bridge. If I can find them I'll put it back together, but if I can't I'll just build another bridge and put more wings on.

You may also note that there are pictures of a transforming mech in with the zip. I left those in there in case any of you wanted to see something that didn't fly. We make lots of mechs from the Exo-Force skeletons, and I still have pictures of some of the first ones I made with primitive transformations. One had a combination mode like Optimus Prime, where the trailer becomes a backpack for extra fyarpowah.

Balanced Fighter

I haven't thought of a proper name for it yet, but it's extremely balanced.

Most of the generators and sensors are stored in the pontoon-like things on the back. Power is routed through the tubes towards the engines and cockpit, and since the engines are arrays of micro-plasma engines, they can remain compact while keeping the generators out of the way. Having the engines tucked into the ship like that also makes them less vulnerable to weapon fire and may lower the EM signature, but without adequate testing I can't say for certain. Also, because the jennys aren't hooked directly to the engines, if something in the back explodes there's a smaller chance that it will take out the entire ship.

Here you can see the weapon mounts and missile racks. The missiles are definitely GTM-19 Harpoons, and they're triply stacked so it can hold a total of 18 Harpoons. Though it only has one forward weapon mount, I'm considering putting two small turrets on the back since there's room for them and the generators are way oversized for a ship of this size. The gigantic vanes in the middle are probably heatsinks or something, but I'm not sure what they do yet.

Hooray for opening maintenance compartments! That's all for now. I'll be working on a few other ships later.

Heh. Would make a better interceptor than the Peruses, for sure, with six more missiles.

Only problem would be gunpoint mounting, shots would go extremely wide. That, and the large profile.

More like a Valkyrie with a larger missile capacity. Combined with an Ares. Yeah...

RockmoddeR

I had a starcruiser at one time...I really did...maybe I'll have to build it again, not that I've been reinspired. BTW that orange one looks like the Big Fang piloted by Bio Rex from F-Zero X. Awesomeness. With Las0rs.

Here are some Black Sect ships which are way better than previous designs I've made. The Piranha and the Hammerhead are staple ships in the huge pirating and smuggling conglomeration that is the Black Sect, but I'll save the details for later. Note that the black bar on the bottom of the Piranha is only for balance so I could get a good shot.

BS Piranha - Light Scout

Acmex, you can skip this paragraph by thinking of the Piranha like a really thin Loki. The BS Piranha is a scouting vessel which has a good amount of firepower for its size, with two weapon mounts and one missile bay. It's like a flying coffin though, since the pilot barely has enough room to move around inside the cockpit, so smaller species are often assigned to fly these. Its maneuverability is extremely high and it can flip around on a dime with the undocking retrorockets on the top that are conveniently not above the ship's center of mass.

You can see the missile tubes above the upper guns. There are four tubes on each side for a total of eight missiles.

BS Hammerhead - Space Superiority

The BS Hammerhead is probably the most versatile ship the Black Sect have, mainly because of its extreme modularity. The missile pods on the side can be removed without the help of a flight crew, which allows the Hammerhead to change ordinance in the middle of a mission. Previous incarnations had carpet-bombing capabilities, but this one does not. Rather, it has a rather oversized weapon amplification system that allows this ship to have nearly capital-class firepower, but only after an extensive charging sequence. Without charging it greatly magnifies and focuses the installed weapon which leads to better shield penetration without increasing the load on the generators. You see, this is the advantage of stealing technologies from several galaxies and then cramming them into a single ship.

You can see the missile pods here. No restrictions on what missiles can be loaded since custom tubes can be made to fit any missile. You could even store several types of missiles in a single pod.

Woo dogfight woo.

But the thing is, the Loki was designed as a "stealth" fighter.

Various features including a shielded exhaust chamber and micro-roughened hull dropped its radar and thermal signatures to fairly low by GTVA standards, although it wasn't as good as the Pegasus at actual stealth.

tl;dr

Is it built for stealth?

And the Loki is actually classed as a Heavy scout, not light.

I suppose you're right since the Piranha doesn't have a stealth module like larger BS ships have and doesn't need it, but I don't know what to say about shielded exhaust because you can see the exhaust on a Loki from far away like you can with any other ship. I think the only similarities are the fact that both have one missile bay and two weapon mounts and are better for recon than for battle. The Piranha is still way smaller than the Loki though and can ninja around with its retrorockets. Maybe if I removed one of the completely unnecessary engines it would have enough power to run a stealth module as well...

To be honest, I was hoping you would rage at the fact that I stuck capital-class power into a space superiority fighter. Heh.

SIGHT doesn't mean anything in space.

The Loki's exhaust is basically "cooled" somewhat, so that the sensor profile isn't nearly as large.

And capital class firepower? I would happen to be the guy who tried to make the player ship an Aoelous cruiser.

I don't think I mind that much.
