We can add certain animations by editing files from the wad and we can add certain behaviors by editing the cfg file. The thing is, how do we make ot completely docile until a RR disturbs it, then have it follow that RR everywhere till one or the either dies? We can use the sleeping mode, but I have not been able to find how to do that from the cfg file. In my mind I see a RW sleeping, then a RR disturbs it, and the RW chases the RR until one or the other dies. If another RR damages the RW during the chase, the RW starts chasing the RR that hurt it last, with a timout between switching targets, so the chase actually goes somewhere.

Sciguy: The specific habits are defined in the cfg, and though it links to a LWS file, those are uninportant, the AE has habits you can add or remove, then it has links to the LWS file (replace ahsleepy with walk and have rmonsters walk in place when asleep). So these habits can be added to the Rockwhale AE file, then linkes to the lws (THe LWS and LWO files are the troubles). The CFG links to the ae, the coding for creatures tells what actions they do in the game (Pilot drilling speed) where as the AE it links to tells smaller habits (Pilot inactivity, where they look at clipboards)

Falcon: What do you mean?

Ok, so it is not as impossible as I thought (man, you guys found out a lot more while I was gone, gonna have to catch up). This will just take a little while. But, can we just do a little manipulation to add the chasing part, or are we going to need to do some extra coding for that?

yeah, thats going to be the tough part. But, if the coding is for the monster to approach the location of the building, then it may be possible to implement it with a mobile object

Oh, and about the sleeping, if we add the sleeping characteristic to the RWs files, How will e define it going to sleep?

You can get blender. You just need to learn it >_>xD

I'll try again, but I need some help with texture fitting and LWS

Does Blender have registry entries?

If not: can someone zip a pre-installed one and send me it?

If it does: what would happen if i try to run it without the entries?

I would do it, but..ya know...

Lair, repeat after me: B, L E N D E R, BLENDER xD Yeah, i have it, read the wiki and google what questions you have, it is complicated. I have had a little time to see it. If you cant afford photoshop, get GIMP, its a high end prog with a ton of capabilities but is FREE!

Yup. And better than PS :P

Anyway, doc, http://portable-freeware.com/ is your friend... :D

Installers, but they make no registry entries. I hope that's good.
