ZuTheSkunk
I'm curious as to where exactly does the game store the music/soundtrack. The Polish version of the game comes with a glitched up Track #3, and instead of music, that track contains just lots of static, meaning that I have to play with the music off if I don't want to get jumpscared. Therefore, I was wondering if I would be able to replace it with the correct file. Speaking of, could anyone please provide Track 3 file for download? The only version I have is from YouTube, and it's not the best quality.
Cirevam
The music is stored on the CD on separate tracks. This allows you to listen to the tracks in a regular CD player. We used to have all of LRR's music uploaded here, including the PS1 tracks, but a quick search turns up nothing. Here's all of the LRR music that I have: http://oresome.rockraidersunited.com/download/399 Burn these tracks onto a CD and put them in your computer when playing LRR. It will play random tracks from the CD, but only the first three. Change the CDTracks variable in your CFG file to 13 (or however many tracks you want) and you will be able to hear all of them. ZuTheSkunk
Thanks a bunch for the download link! And huh, that's interesting. I am a little confused though, since I could never find the music files anywhere on the disk, and after a quick search, I can't find the CFG file you mention either. Am I missing something, or is the file structure different somehow?
Cirevam
Use this to prepare your game for modding: Extract the LegoRR0.wad and LegoRR1.wad files in your installation directory. You will have two folders labelled with the name of the respective WAD. Copy the contents of LegoRR0 into the Data folder, then LegoRR1's contents. Do not do these in the reverse order or files will get messed up. Then rename or move the original WAD files somewhere else as a backup. You can run the game without the WADs as long as the Data folder has everything. You will see a Lego.CFG file in the Data folder. Open it with Notepad and change the line that I mentioned earlier. lol username
You won't see the music as files on the disc, they're stored like on a typical audio CD instead (hence how you can put the disc in a CD player and it'll play the music). I'm not 100% sure on all the details of how those systems differ, just that they do.
