Upscaling Rock Raiders Textures

Rock Raiders textures are very small.

I've found using the new intelligent upscaling software "Waifu2X" has decent results on the original textures. It uses neural networks to discern and upscale data and not noise.

It's not always the best, but in my opinion 95% of the time it manages to draw water from stone.

Obviously it's designed for pictures of your waifu, but works for this too.

Works on holiday snaps too.

You can use it here: http://waifu2x.udp.jp/

There is a bulk converter with a GUI here: https://github.com/lltcggie/waifu2x-caffe/releases

It's a pretty good tool, I've used it a lot while working with textures and I know several other members here have as well. Here's some tips I posted in another topic and am too lazy to retype:

Also, when using waifu2x, it's a good idea to run a texture through in multiple modes and see which looks better for that individual texture, combining aspects of both versions if need be (especially on face textures)... And when it comes to tiling textures, this varies case to case, but it's often a good idea to assemble a 3x3 grid of the texture and run that through, then crop it down to the middle one again, so waifu2x treats the edges properly (can be a 1x3 grid for Alpha Team's face textures since only the left/right edges meet each other in-game).
