The parts included can build you five different models that show off the different sorts of programming stuff you're able to accomplish with the free app that commands the robotic bits. This reminds me of CyberMaster in that it's a budget/kid-friendly alternative to Mindstorms, but the similarities end there. What do you think? Does that cat look as creepy to any of you as it does to me? The Ace Railgun and Ben24x7
Ben24x7
I think I'll just wait 'till it comes out, and see what people do with it before placing my general opinion... ...but the idea of a cheaper version of LEGO Mindstorms? Brilliant.

aidenpons
Is that one motor with the set? One motor? One motor?

The main controller has at least one built-in motor (maybe more, haven't checked)... does that count? EDIT: Rest in pieces, old brick-style cables, and RIP every Power Functions accessory currently out on the market.https://education.lego.com/en-us/support/wedo-2/faqs#core Looks like the connectors used in WeDo 2.0 & Boost will eventually replace the PF & Mindstorms connectors.
