sciguy
Ok, using the landslide debug key I clicked all over the place in this little area, and here are 2 screenshots of the results: and
Cyrem
So it created crystals where-ever you clicked? nice find!

Anonymouse
Hmm.. I believe that it simply made the energy crystals inside the wall appear before it had been drilled.
Addictgamer
hmm...Didn't the original topic's discussion say anything? I thought i remembered him saying that they appeared only on certain walls.
sciguy
Yes, they only appeared in certain walls. I don't know whether it made the pre-existing ecs appear or if it added new ones.
TheDoctor
I think this ia a good (dead) topic to post this picture.
Storm
Whoa, how did you do that!?
TheDoctor
That would be two continuous minutes of debug key landslides on an energy crystal seam.
Storm
O.o omg, i just deleted my rr textures and they are still normal. HAX!
Anonymouse
O.o omg, i just deleted my rr textures and they are still normal. HAX! It shouldn't work without the textures, so you probably didn't recompile the WAD. And what TheDoctor has there is DataRaiders so far.
TheEPICtrainrider
I think this ia a good (dead) topic to post this picture. Isn't there a high poly energy crystal mod to make them look better?
Anonymouse
Isn't there a high poly energy crystal mod to make them look better? Yes, but it *still* makes them look worse. :(
Icerockman
pointless... but still? how about now?
Anonymouse
I just can't get it working, neither the modded model >_>
Lair
This has happened several times to me. On Water Lot Of Fun and Erode Works. In only one corner though.
sciguy
yep, Doc probably didnt recompile the wad. And DATA raiders is looking cool. Do the powerpaths have traces on them so they look like a circuit board? And i think it would be cool if the bases of the buildings are made to look like chips. Lair
Like those chips with the boxed and such on them.

Lair
Yes but some bigger chips have tiny boxes and such on them. You would have to see what I mean
sciguy
You talking about cooling fins? And I know they may have writing on them
Lair
...No I mean... Those old drives... of sorts. That had... Oh I found a pic. WARNING: 1400x1100 px. www.ixbt.com/mainboard/msi/785gm-e65/board.jpg Bah, the - wont let me link it.
sciguy
Cooling fins, as i suspected. that red thing is a dip switch. The jumpers do resemble microchips, in a way. The big cream/white thing is the CPU holder. Sorry, i dont see any microchips with boxes on them, other than the largers ones with cooling fins... Point out the component(s) you are referring to
Lair
I see a massive lack of cooling fins. Also I said I did not mean a microchip. www.ixbt.com/mainboard/msi/785gm-e65/board.jpg Look at THIS picture, not whatever you were looking at, and see the boxes on the corner, plugs on side and numerous cylendars.
