Using Cheat Engine to get Pepper out of bounds, and to other parts of the island before usual. Note that even the volcano you can't usually reach has invisible "fences" keeping you from going inside.

 

Most of this (except for maybe getting to the pyramid area early) can also be done in the beta without Cheat Engine, just some well timed jumps.
