Manic Miner Level editing help

I'm attempting to make a race style level for my wife. She likes the Tunnel Scout, so I've been working on this level where she needs to get from point A, to the base on the other side of the map (point b) zigzagging through tunnels and seeing bases, vehicles, terrain, and all that LRR has to offer, as if it were a Lego Racers level. But I'm having trouble with the objectives. At one point, I attempted adding an Oxygen element to make it time based, but when it does activate, it only gives 30sec of O2, not even close to enough time to get through. So I tried a Discovery objective,  but it never seems to engage. I just want it to run like 'Explosive Action', where the small digger reaches the tool shed, then the mission completes. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can achieve this?
