Cirevam Posted March 2, 2010 Share Posted March 2, 2010 I just looked at the VLP_TeleWALK.lws file, and it looks like it uses a hand model that the high-poly mod missed. Replace GC_RHand.lwo with the high-poly version of the hand and it'll look better during that animation, but remember that the colors of the hands and the top of Pilot's head are controlled by a hex variable. I can view the hand's texture, but it doesn't have an associated file, which means it's embedded in the model. Oh, and it looks like sound files are called from within the LWS itself. I didn't look too closely, but I'll bet it's called at a certain frame in the animation. Also, I can confirm that GC_RHand.lwo is the file you need to replace, as I did it just now and looked at the LWS again. It's beautiful now. Only this and only when teleporting. Now you say your arms, which have the same basis in all LWS files, turn orange whenever doing common tasks? Certain failwhales have been spotted in your computer. I was hopping to make custom sound sequences. So now we know there are a set number of sounds and they are hidden in the game's secret files (explains why those old rock raider monsters never had a drilling sound). There are two different arms: a one-part arm and a two-part arm. The two-part one allows for the arm to bend at the elbow, which makes more complex animations possible. Those are also GC models I believe, though trying to replace them causes the arms to disappear. I just made the orange parts of the Triman texture a different color to fix it.
