Orr-Origin Is Still In The Planning Stage.

Here is the current plan: The .lwo files would be replaced by .ldr or .dat (the LDraw version), the .lws files by a modified form of scene description language, as normal SDL already allows for animation, but not necessarily using another file as an object, and certainly not an LDraw file. I propose the following items: Laser Beam: Melts rock, metal, and lapis lazuli, makes just about everthing else explode either by super heating the water or in the case of dimond based materials, makes them explode by making them shatter, then burn like fire is going out of style. I Would Make An Overhaul, But I Need A Few Things.

Things such as LightWave and possibly a C++ compiler as it may require a new engine to fully implement as it will have models of AIV and RRU members in it (yes, in the levels themselves) to add to the storyline. I heard some of this when i was waking up and then fleshed it out.

I growl while I sing.

A few days ago I said I can do a proper growl IRL. My growls do not sound like a dog. They sound more like the distortion made by an amplifier when I attempt to go off the low end of my vocal range while generating a melody, which is when they usually occur. 0123131508.wav I know, IT SUCKS, but it was the best I could do while be recorded.

I Develop Member Profiles

They are typicly just activity patterns which allow me to determine time zones, the first step to locating someone, but sometimes addional information appears, allowing me to narrow it down to a region. I can't go much further than that without committing a felony. As for personality profiles, well I have Zephyr's. She has a slightly lower "I'm offended" threshold than most. That's not much.

I made these using Audacity. 40k has heard the first part. I think this is the first successful attempt at a piece. Evohummer2 has a little (and I do mean little added to it. Otherwise, they are the same. I chose waveforms because they are not lossy. If you listen to them, you will find out how they got their names.

Pardon the lack of formality, but can you make a version of LightWave for individuals? The reason I ask is that most people on Rock Raiders United (I’m sure there are other communities out there that would find such a version useful) are around 18 and don’t necessarily have the income for such a thing. The only thing you would really need to do outside of simplifying it to bring the cost down is add support for the older LightWave formats (currently we need to convert files with 5.x). I

Dog Died

Current Mods I Have Implemented. This Is A Very Long List, And Could Get Longer!

Computer Clicker

I made this today. I can't seem to get the scratch-clicks right though and it is a bit shallow. Computer_Clicker.wav (Stereo) I can't export this as a .mp3. I tried. Did get .ogg though (I uploaded it with the waveform). But RRU did not take it.

Cinematics

I think that there are some unexplored ways of modding LRR. I have not seen someone use the tutorial map for sounds other than Chief's voice nor have I seen someone try to use a monster class for an animation. The first is self explanatory and I have seen attempts at using other Chief files. The other is a little more difficult to grasp.
