RRU Anniversary Blog Party!

I have been here to see 2 RRU Anniversaries now (unofficially being at the 4th) and now the 5th Anniversary. Good times, good memories, and good friends. Database errors won't stop me

I'll be gone for a few weeks as of tomorrow and since the database errors still roam the streets of RRU I'll use my blog for this instance. WTF is this bullcrap?

Well I Finally got my self back to work on this project currently my planed time line is to finish coding vehicles and the buildings add the power path code and then release a new update. Renard has struck my dreams again

A little notification for future blogs

My MISB collection

I have posted in this topic before, showing part of my LEGO collection. Since then, my collection has grown. Now I take a break from buying vintage LEGO sets and sell some. I can't just constantly buy sets without making money. And for your information, I have a job to finance my hobby too (and save up for university later). Wot I Fink: Stories in Gaming

One of the biggest problems I come across in gaming is story. It's a tricky element to get right, and people are both going to want it or going to hate it. The biggest problem is that if you go for a story, you either have to keep it basic as a way to establish why the player is in the game in first place (I call this the "Call to Suspension" trick), or it becomes a core part of the game (I'd call this an "Experience", as you would have noted in a previous Wot I Fink). Call me a neo technophobe but. . .

I really do not like the way things are going with the most commonly used technologies. I mean seriously, they are causing me all sorts of head aches. The new handhelds are crap at getting really odd shots.
