First off, I have a new avatar. Had it for a few days already actually. How do you all like it?

It's from a screenshot of the ogre 3d game engine in action.

Ok, so here's TDST.

Now, have I updated anything in it?

Well, I've been trying to run it in a code verifier to see if I can finally change the layout of the game.

It would allow me to program faster, and the code would be cleaner and easier to interpret.

But, I haven't succeeded yet.

Anyway, as for the future of this project.

I want to add missiles in and clean up the game's visual appearance a bit.

Some stuff I had in mind:

Slightly animate the title screen,

Add a particle system in,

Animate the victory screen a bit,

Animate explosions,

And make the backgrounds more visually appealing.

AI is a must have for the final release, so that you can play by yourself and have fun.

Making the game play over LAN (Local Area Network) may also find itself into the final release.

lan multiplayer is a great idea. just make sure you assign the correct port, and make it so non-firewall adept users can still set it up.
