The Computer Update Blorg

The Ace Railgun

So I am currently in the process of updating my computer, and after the recent drama I figured a computer blorg would be fun. Several friends (Alcom, @noghiri, and an IRL friend) have helped me compile a computer parts list to make a long lasting and powerful computer (that can handle VR), with enough storage to last me for forever (or at least 'till I use up 3TBs) here's my final part list, if anyone wants to check it out.

Linkage:  http://pcpartpicker.com/list/BFCx6X

I will be posting pics of the build here in this blorg once I receive them all as I am ordering all the parts today, and hopefully they will come within a week give or take.

Edit: went with 16GB of RAM and a 1070 Gforce graphics card

Nintendo 64!!! Oh, and a computer :D. In all seriousness: It's good to see, that everything seems to work and that it was a cool experience.

P.S.: The first two pictures are really dark though. Especially No. 1.

i haven't been paying attention why does this have so many comments

Arthuriel and Noghiri discussing computer cooling and PSUs, at least it's not drama.

You still need more comments to surpass the comment count of that other post, Ace. :P

Yeah but the computer has already been built so there's not much else to talk about unless someone wants to compare liquid cool vs fan cooling or something.

If you ever use a bigger desk, I recommend getting a second monitor. (if you have more than one display port, that is)
When creating content, (at least in my experiences) using only one monitor can get a bit annoying after a while, especially when you have multiple windows open for a project and have to keep switching between them. (Especially helps to have 2 monitors when you're drawing a certain pose and need a reference but don't want to tile the windows)

(nice background pic by the way)

I plan on getting at least 3 more monitors, had to hold off on that due to desk space though, and well...cost.
