I Have A Commodore 64 System. What's Next?

So for christmas I got alot of small things. I was a bit disappointed, until my dad came in with a giant box. I immediately knew what it was, and dug in. Inside was my C64, a model 1 5 1/4 floppy disk drive, a number of games, Centipede game cartridge, a random cassette tape, about 5 joysticks, many serial cables, manuals, a power supply bricky thingy (which is really heavy, and I learned that it hurts when it hits you on the knee), a cassette drive, and a printer hookup for a printer. The only thing I need that's left is this piece, which I hope to get. After that, I'll have my commodore ready to run. The computer itself works, I just can't get any video output without that. I tried stealing the connector from the N64, but the resistance coil inside of it is not enough for the C64 (the C64 has 2 video outputs, one for a cable line in, and another for RCA. The N64 had a cable box). I tried the floppy drive, it works, but it is extremely loud, which I hear is normal. The aluminum pieces inside of the machine are a bit corroded, but those can easily be cleaned. The terminals for the cassette in have this strange white powder on them, which I assume is also corrosion. The SID is a 6581, which oddly does not have the C= on it that they usually do (it's outer design is of an 8580 chip, but the serial number says otherwise). It's not in the best of condition, but hey, it's a 30 year old 8-bit computer system.

Get an odyssey. Then, pr0fit.

Also, just get a Coax cable and run it to your bog-standard 2001 Television. Again, pr0fit.

...wow. I heard that the C64 games cost an arm and a leg back in it's day (or was that the Turbografix 16?). Good luck finding those games, and the missing piece!

We won the piece, now we are waiting for it in the mail. Who needs to buy games, when you can make them? Or download them? I want a USB 5 1/4 in. drive. Anybody have any links for a tutorial?
