I Think That Being A Vegetarian Would Be A Good Idea...

Last night I watched a documentary about meat processing through all steps (killing the animal to wrapping the meat up) and I must say that I am quite disturbed now. I'm fine with bloody 'n gore but after watching that, no censoring, I think I'll be avoiding meat products for a long while. I keep having a feeling like there is a zombie half of frozen cow flopping around in our basement and...JUST GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!

Thats what happened when I was eating fish sticks (they tasted delicious) then my dad switched to Man VS Wild, aka that old show where s*** happens and then the guy on it ate a fish, and then my stomach immediately burst at the thought of fish.

And to think that you've been eating that meat for years and never given a second thought about it. Tell me, what's changed since then? They still did the same thing before. Nothing has changed.

Come now, it's nothing different. I eat meat because I'm an omnivore and meat tastes GOOD, not because the cow was treated to a luxury life before it's death by euthanasia. Hell, probably tastes better because of the violence.

I don't care what happens to the animal as long as it's dead and tastes delicious. No one should feel sorry for animals that are raised to be food. In fact, you're disrespecting them by not eating them because you're not allowing them to fulfill their life's purpose.

But, Cirevam, animals are alive also. Think about if you were the animal used for food. Would you like to be eaten? But anyways, never and i mean never eat a guinea pig.

But the guinea pig isn't bred to be eaten. The cows are probably begging for a release as they lead horrible lives (and thats terrible. But I want my steak). The rodent, on the other hand, has a wonderful life, giving it's owner happiness and comfort. Unlike a cow.
