If you launch it with a -window flag, it will run in a 640x480 window. I am aware that some users are having DirectX issues, I am looking into this.

@Modded Lego: LR1 is already using hardware mode. This was determined in this thread, and what you're describing is exactly what the topic post says. As for the out of video memory, I only get that when I bump up the resolution when it's on my flash drive. Are you by any chance on a netbook so something like that? Those Atom CPUs and what-they-call-a-GPU will give you that message for sure.

I'm tempted to pick this up, but the TT games have become distasteful due to their obvious repetitiveness. I think I'll pass unless something totally wacky and neat is in the game. I hope LEGO City Stores is a complete mix-up from the usual formula and inspires LEGO and TT to create more original games that don't rely on a licence and are released on every gaming console (WiiU, Wii, PS3, XBOX 360, 3DS, DS, PC, PSP etc.) instead of releasing them either exclusively on the DS (LEGO Battles) or Nintendo consoles (City Stories).

Early press releases to advertise the game and previews. And it's not like there's just one beta version, there's tons of various builds from when they first started to when they finalized the game, as with all video games.

@Modded Bricklink? Wow. I should have been checking there more. No, you cannot legally download the beta copy anywhere even if you own the final version. High Voltage has the beta copies, and as I said, they will not relase it for a few fans, not for anything. Beta copies of games aren't released much, and if you found one, it would have had to been leaked from someone at High Voltage without them knowing. Besides, if there was one out there, it would have most likely been found by now.

@Modded Lego Where did you find this 1999 copy? eBay? Bricklink? Where? And how much did you pay? Also, you know that the 1999 copy only has one design: Green with Rocket Racers face on it. As for a beta copy, no. That it locked in the server farm at High Voltage and no IT will take it out and give it to fans, no matter how much we ask.

Any real browser will underline misspelled words. Stop using IE stop assuming you can grade someone on how they play a game when the game can't even properly grade the player.
