In light of the recent discoveries on how to read LEGO Island 2's .msh model format, I thought that I would go ahead and update my old .msh to .obj converter tool. I must admit, I got a little carried away. I completely rewrote the msh2obj tool, and I've written a brand new tool for converting .obj files back into .msh format. To tools can't handle models that have animation data (SVWL and AVW2 sections), but I think they should be able to convert anything else. I haven't had a chance to test anything beyond just moving vertices around, but feel free to experiment on your own and post what you find out in this topic. Don't forget that the obj2msh tool will need that .matrix file passed in as a third parameter when you go to convert the .obj back to .msh format.

I was fooling around with LEGO Island 2 today when I decided to open the 'LEGO Island 2.exe' with a program that I downloaded called Resource Hacker (you can use it to edit an .exe's embedded resources), and guess what I found? I don't know about you, but I think this is pretty freaking awesome! I mean, these dialogs look like they'd be the sort of things used by the developers to create and debug the game. And that's what's even more exiting! Even though these dialogs don't do anything when you view them in Resource Hacker, what if there's some way to enable them in-game? What if, like LEGO Island 1, LEGO Island 2 has a hidden debug mode that can be enabled somehow? Anyway, I thought I would share these with you all. Maybe you guys will have some insight about finding the debug mode, if it exists. Why are you proud of yourself, again? Not only is this a topic in the Off-Topic forum, but it's about something that a lot of members here don't like. Can we please stop making posts about wanting to end topics? It's perfectly fine to make topics about "random crap" in the Off-Topic area, within reason. It's not okay to make completely useless posts that make you guys look like whiny babies who hate fun conversation. I think I'm going to start blasting posts like yours without warning because they contribute nothing and invite more whining. Or if you want me to be fair, I could delete this topic, the Adventure Time topic, and the brony topic so that everyone is on the same level. No, you're supposed to Google "ninjago" or "fluttershy" then find a link to RRU in the search results. Websites can tell if you do that. But I just searched both and didn't see any links to RRU, so unless people are searching for "I love ninjago and rock raiders" then I don't know how Cyrem is getting those numbers.

I use Notepad and still no crashes. PSPad is a waste of resources to me.
