After a good chat with Phoenyx, we have decided that under certain conditions, the server will be back, however I will be running it with a few rules which I will get to but first I'll tell you how to join the server if you're interested as I will be whitelisting it due to previous events. --HOW TO JOIN-- All you need to join is ask me, Phoenyx or one of the other ops if you can join. After being reviewed we will either accept or decline you but it is most likely the former. We will be judging from previous experiences with those who have been on the other two maps. --RULES-- These rules are in place to keep the server running and not make it end abruptly like before. 1. NO arguing with the Ops or Admins. Period. 2. NO glorifying yourself and wasting building space (e.g. statues, flags, islands of your own etc) 3. If you want to establish a city of your own, consult the Ops who are available first. 4. The most obvious one, no griefing! 5. Don't boss others around! (Unless they want you to.) 6. This applies to Ops/Admins, no banning others pointlessly otherwise we will review your status and may remove your Op and ban you if it persists. 7. Respect others! Breaking any of these rules will result in a kick, then a one day ban, if it still persists a 3 day ban and finally if you're brain dead or just wanting to be banned it's a permanent one. No I mean it, you literally can't compare the two. It's like apples and oranges, they're both fruit, but extremely different. Star-Wars is more or less a fantasy story, while Halo is a story more grounded in reality. Star-Wars has a magical feel to it, it's a tale focused around a bunch of wizards and the constant struggle between light and dark. Halo is more gritty and real, it's about fighting for survival and exploring the ancient unknown. They are two entirely different beasts. The same goes for the Star Wars vs. Star Trek argument. You can't do it. This thread should not be here, it has no purpose. To say one is better than the other is to say something like: "Mars is better than your dog." It's nonsense and cannot be justified. Besides I love both of them and cannot choose.

Following an OP vote on the server, he will not be let on. Why is that exactly? Just because we don't get along? You were just as much to blame as I was. It was one or the other. What was one or the other? Let me on or not? I think you could have at least given me a chance. I mean it's not like I can play Minecraft at the moment anyway with my current Hardware limitations. I don't care, you're not welcome, period. Only 2 people (your brother and maybe Storm) would go against your ban, Phoenyx was neutral, everyone else said no to you. Also, we don't want huge statues covering the map as well as your own one man nation, we don't need you. Also don't think that you can still attempt to antagonize me. I'm not a idiot or a chicken who will hide behind that little wall while you try to make me look weak. And if you realized, I'm running the server, good luck in trying to get past me. Yes, but that would probably lead to having to destroy almost every planet in the galaxy. They can take control over space ships. But seriously.

Yeah, they would be pretty screwed if the Flood somehow got to whatever galaxy Star Wars takes place in. In the Halo universe, the Flood almost completely takes over the Milky Way and the only way to stop them is to starve them to death (I.E. wipe out all life in the entire galaxy) The Forerunners does this by creating the Halos, and I don't think the Empire has the technology to create such a weapon. But I could be wrong. They do have a weapon that can destroy entire planets, so maybe they can create one that can destroy entire galaxies too... If the Covenant discovered the Star Wars galaxy and decided to attack the Empire it would probably be a pretty even battle. Though, that would never happen, because the Covenant did not exist "a long time ago" However, the Forerunners did. And if they attacked the Empire they would probably win. But that would probably not happen, because the Forerunners are pretty friendly, aren't they? They would see the Empire as a threat and wipe them out. Just like they did with the Precursors (who were actually alot more powerful than the Forerunners), The Prophet race(whatever they're called) and the ancient space-humans. But it would probably never happen because, I'm pretty sure the Forerunners don't travel to other galaxies. UNSC vs Empire? pffft everyone knows who wins... Enitre Star Wars universe vs entire Halo universe no, that would be ridiculous.

Well what about The Flood? How would Star Wars handle an adaptive parasidic life form powerful enough for the strongest beings in the Universe to create the 7 rings that lead to their own demise to save all other species of life? For every 10 flood jedi would kill 1000 more would be spawning around them. What could Star Wars do to beat The Flood?

Let me explain the rules more thoroughly. 1. Make posts as a command. By this he means that YOU DO NOT GIVE THE RESPONSES. Lair is the original poster, so he posts the responses. 2. Write in full, descriptive sentences. By this he means that he wants you to not just say "that shelf over there go see whats on the shelf, take the salt off and then pour it in your eyes causing you to spaz out." He wants you to say "Go by the shelf and examine what is on the shelf. If there is salt, pour it in your eyes." 3. Replies like "do that" will be ignored. This means he does not want you to second commands. 4. Don't make posts just to reply to someone else's commands. If there is an issue I will adress it. Kind of obvious. 5. If you want to give a command that is random/funny, do so, but use good sense. You can do funny/random commands, but do not make them too stupid.

I think Star Wars just has a much larger fleshed out universe to work with, though I am by no means an expert on either.

You all forget. Star wars has StarKiller. The most OP character in star wars canon ever. Hell, you're forgetting the entire EU altogether. Boba Fett managed to escape the Sarlacc. Alive. Plenty of badasses on the SW team
