Well there you have it. Rarely do another developer capture the same idea and perspective as the original developer. Microsoft is simply cashing in, prepare for disappointment.

I have a '91 Civic, named Arnie. I've owned it for about three years now. I've replaced the exhaust, replaced a headlight and a taillight, put a passenger-side mirror on, replaced a front bumper bracket, swapped out the steel wheels for some aluminum ones with tires that don't handle like crap in the rain, and just over the summer I replaced a burnt valve with my dad as part of my birthday and Christmas presents. That was the biggest repair we've done since we had to take the head off, but it's already paying off. Arnie used to only get 23 mpg on the highway, but now it gets at least 27. I haven't filled up the tank again yet to confirm the real value, but it's easy math since it's a 10 gallon tank. Next year I'm going to find a short ram intake and whenever my dad gets a new Sprinter I'll take the turbocharger out of the old one and put it in my car. Eventually I'll probably put in a manual transmission and turn it into a drag car. I've seen some Civics get low 9's, so they're pretty good.

Read that as PIMP. Just curious, why use a lossy format like WMA? I mean, it's good if you want to send decent-sounding audio over phone lines, bu no one really does that anymore. Also, at 128 kbps (which I ashume you're probably using) it suffers from overbrightness. If you're running these files at a really high bit rate, try OGG, but if you're running around 85 kbps don't touch OGG at all since it gets really cruddy below ~120 kbps. If MPEG Layer III isn't your style, I understand, but as a sound guy must know your reasoning for using the WMA codec. In other news, meh, my dad won an iPod in a survey and gave it to me, so I don't really have any advice for you.

If LEGO has copyrights on LEGO, the LEGO Brick, and other such things, how some knock-offs like Mega Bloks exist? There's got to be a huge loophole that they're exploiting.

^ No summer vacation or weekends off? Where did you hear that? I doubt it would seriously happen since it would completely change how our schools work. Teachers would fight it since they need vacations too.

Sun is going to deprecate Vector soon, which is a terrible move because that'll get rid of Stack and force us to use dequeue. Dequeue sucks and should be taken behind a building and shot to put it out of its misery. Horrible. Java's already got problems as it is, with its bloatedness in some areas amongst other things. Because my high school was stupid and only offered Spanish and French, neither of which I liked, but I took Spanish anyways. Turns out they started offering Latin in my senior year, which I would have taken because Latin is cooler than Spanish, but whatever.

Self-study? To know when to put an umlaut over a vowel? PSSHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWW. Actually learning a language on your own is majorly cool. Requires high Knowledge and Diligence, with some Understanding too. I'm thinking about studying abroad in Germany, and I've already taken a year of intro German, mainly to fulfill the language requirement.

1) Buy a microphone unless your computer has one built in. 2) Get a free audio-recording program like Wavepad or Audacity. 3) Record your voice. 4) ??? 5) There is no profit. Get over it.

Last week a hot water line burst in one of the science buildings and practically flooded the place. Where the new robotics lab is. With water. Which electronics hate. Luckily, everything was up on lofts, but some people got their hard drives ruined. Hey, for all ya'll college guys, what are your majors? I'm computer science with a minor in physics, wanting to go into robotics. And don't say undeclared, that's just cowardice. :)
