    warp difference

To add on to what Tazakk said, the PS1 version of the game also lacks the rock/gate thing above the castle in Knightmare-Athon where the floating red brick is, making it plainly visible from the ground.

Vista sucked when it came out. It's far more usable now. In fact, Windows XP is a parallel to Vista in so many ways I have no clue how people came to praise XP to the high heavens, yet the same people lament Vista. What I mean is, Vista RTM and XP RTM both sucked majorly. XP RTM had security thinner than paper and wasn't fixed until Service Pack 2 (You'd think it'd take they'd learn their lesson the first time around...), and Vista was such an overhaul from XP that it was impossible to use and nobody had a clue how to write for it. After SP1, Vista became much better, and it actually matches up to 7 in SP2. In fact, 7 is barely anything more than Vista with a new taskbar. Lair said it pretty well too, though another thing I'd like to bring up is NOT EVERYONE CAN SHELL OUT TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ALL THE TIME.

    Rock Racers Overhaul (WIP)

I'd like to make an overhaul mod for Lego Racers which changes all the themes to Rock Raiders-related ones. For instance, tracks will be re-textured to the biomes seen in the LRR game, and characters will be changed to look like LRR characters. Due to college and other distractions, this will probably take a while... Download The latest version of Rock Racers is v1.0.3.1, which can be downloaded below. Rock Racers v1.0.3.1 Note: This is a >PatchIt! installation, but can be installed without it - just follow the Advanced Installation steps below. Credit and a big thanks to Creator for making some epic custom PWBs and opponent car designs, as well as his continued friendly support. Credit to for his LRR minifigure textures. LI2 Msh Tools v1.0

In light of the recent discoveries on how to read LEGO Island 2's .msh model format, I thought that I would go ahead and update my old .msh to .obj converter tool. I must admit, I got a little carried away. I completely rewrote the msh2obj tool, and I've written a brand new tool for converting .obj files back into .msh format. To tools can't handle models that have animation data (SVWL and AVW2 sections), but I think they should be able to convert anything else. I haven't had a chance to test anything beyond just moving vertices around, but feel free to experiment on your own and post what you find out in this topic. Here are links to both programs: Mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/file/z75aulkkxk4waps/LI2_Msh_Tools_v1.0.zip RRU Files Database: https://www.rockraidersunited.com/files/dl-r434/ NOTE: The .obj format can't handle the matrix transformation data in the .msh files for buildings with dynamic elements like doors that open, so the msh2obj tool will dump this data into a .matrix file with the same name as the .obj file when it does a conversion. Don't forget that the obj2msh tool will need that .matrix file passed in as a third parameter when you go to convert the .obj back to .msh format.

New MultiTool for Lego Island 2 [WIP]

Hello, I'm very new to this forum, because I'm actually from the xentax.com-forum. So, the reason for this post; I'm nearly finished with a Tool, to get files from Lego Island 2 and reimport them. After I've done some of game archive researching, I've found the posts of "legomoe" on this forum (awesome guy, that already wrote an extractor), so I felt responsible for the tool to post it here for you. So, back to the tool, short description: The tool is able to export all files (Textures, Meshes, Collisionfiles, Cutscene, Camera, Waypoint, Lighting etc.). The exporter has a useful feature: It (will/is) able to export Meshes as .OBJ (or native .msh) and Textures to .BMP (or native .tga). Same for the importer (->see below). The tool importer let's you import/replace any file you want. For meshes, there will be an .OBJ-importer (the tool internal converts it to .msh-file) and for .TGA-files, there will be an .BMP-importer. The tool will be able to export the whole archives files in a folder like it's hierarchical tree. The tool will give you a "Live-View" (to show the actual mesh in 3D, textfiles in an simple textview, collision-files in 3D and textures) And last but not least, with the tool you can show the hierarchical system with it's files, to have a better overview Actual screenshot: (20/07/2012 - 08:57) WIP Progress of the Multitool: Issues/TO DO: Progressbar show's wrong numbers when loading filetable (fixed) Show hierarchical tree of files (fixed) Export all files at once with hierarchical folder-structure (solved) Fix "show hierarchical..." signal/slot problem (fixed) Fix wrong entries in table (offset/size) (fixed) Progressbar - progress while exporting files Liveview-button on the menu bar (solved) Liveview for all files (textures, 3d, text) Enable sorting of the table by clicking on the tabs (e.g. "Filename", "Size", "Offset" etc.) (solved) GUI (solved) Add GUI-Design combobox to the menubar (solved) Add progressbar-status to all operations [warn='Notice, the tool isn't finished yet!']Please notice, that the tool isn't finsished yet. I would call it for 70% finished. I hope for some positive resonance. And I already would love to see some people, modding their own vehicles, buildungs and snow-textures :-) [/warn] Special thanks to: "legomoe" (rockraidersuntied.org) "RickyOs" (xentax.com) "matze" (friend) And sorry for my english, I'm from germany. Thanks for reading!

No they aren't. He asked for how to get it working with what he had, and that post did absolutely nothing to help him with that. You could say that about any Windows OS. Just ask addict. Yeah, there kinda are. I can think of quite a few off the top of my head. So? That has nothing to do with the post itself, which was fairly detailed, or the responses he got.

    LR Textures

I've extracted (almost) all the textures for Magma Moon Marathon, which can be found here. I say almost all, as I couldn't find the five listed below: MMM MMWIND2 NUB NUB-B2 SANDPART But the rest should be accurate. If anyone finds the last five, and corrects any errors I may have made - although there shouldn't be any - feel free to re-upload them :)

    Menu Rockfall gets stuck

Try this, it's an empty one-frame animation. Put it in InterfaceFrontEndRock_wipe https://ore.rockraidersunited.org/cirevam/RockWipeBlank.lws No guarantees that it will fix this issue.

    Stunt Rally Japanese Demo

Nobody's gotten you the demo yet, Cyrem? Well fear not, for I have brought it to you! I should note: This does require the d3drm.dll file as well and I added it into the archive, You'll get a message saying that it's higher then the required version, yada, yada, yada. Just click Ok. I don't know what you mean by an avi, but there is no avi in the demo. There's only a LEGO Media splash screen. I still need to run the Japanese demo, but SF was made by Intelligent Games. Eidos was the company who developed (more like co-developed with TT Games) LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game. I can't see Eidos being on the splash screen, but again, it may be. I still need to run the other demo. Oh, and does anyone know how to get one of these LEGO demos to run in English if there is no language selection menu, and it wasn't installed? I initially just extracted the cab for this, but it ran in Spanish, I believe. I loaded up the VM to find the file that might define the language, but there wasn't one. I'm thinking about uploading the other demos too, but I need to get them to run in English without installing them or running the exe (If you've ever loaded the Creator Knight's Kingdom demo, you'll know what I mean).
