Cafeteria 1.0 BETA 7 - Launcher & Mod Loader for LRR

Cafeteria! 1.0 BETA 7 Cafeteria is a Game Launcher and Mod Loader for LEGO Rock Raiders. It allows you to play LEGO Rock Raiders mods without manual installation and also allows you to configure the various parameters of LEGO Rock Raiders/LEGO Rock Raiders Community Edition. Installation - First, download the latest version of Cafeteria at the bottom of this post. - Extract Cafeteria and all its files into the installation directory of LEGO Rock Raiders. This is usually: C:\Program Files (x86)\LEGO Media\Games\Rock Raiders - Your installation is finished. Whenever you want to play, start Cafeteria and launch the game through it instead. Requirements Most new computers already have these installed, however if you are missing one, you may get errors in the program. - .NET Framework 4.5 (Download) Installing Mods Mods come in files with the extension *.wadp. You can find mods in topics on this forum. To install a mod, simply place the WADP file inside the "Mods" directory or use the "Add Patch" button. You can confirm a mod has been installed and is valid by visiting the "Mod Manager" tab in Cafeteria where it will display. Ordering Mods Using the arrows on the interface you can move mods up and down. Mods at the end of the list are considered "low priority" and mods up the top are considered "high priority". Mods are installed in order from Low to High Priority. As some mods overlap others or must be applied after other mods, you can order them in the correct installation order. FAQ I heard this allows playing LRR in high resolutions? You did hear correctly. Old versions of Cafeteria did allow this, however this has since changed. Playing LRR in high resolution has now been moved to the Rock Raiders Community Edition project where it will be built into the game. How do I make my own Patches? Please see this topic: Patch Documentation for Cafeteria Changelog 1.0 BETA 7 Added "Addons" to Online Mod library for installing things like D3DRM. Fixed case sensitivity on CFG:Open Added Context Menu Items "Remove Patch" and "Open in File Explorer" Added "Create New Patch" under Tools. This will create a new patch with file structure under "Mods" and added it to the Mod list. 1.0 BETA 6 CFG:AddBlock will not duplicate an existing block. CFG:AddProperty will not duplicate an existing property, instead it will update an existing property. 1.0 BETA 5 Fixed encoding issues with languages other than English. 1.0 BETA 4 Renamed JMP command to CMP command Added new JMP command to simply jump to labels without compare. Added online library for mods (not much yet still adding) Mod description tooltips. Added patch log to see the last log of patch applications. Added "FileAdd" "FileRemove" "DirectoryMerge" to replace "WAD:..." equivalents. These have enhanced debugging messages. Old commands have not been removed. 1.0 BETA 3 Added variables & related commands: VAR / VAR:FromCFG / VAR:Increment / VAR:Decrement Added the ability to Jump in a script with JMP <variable> <opcode> <value> <jumplabel> Added format specified to variable output {var|D2} = 01, {var|F2} = 1.00 Added the ability to work with ANY config file, CFG, AE, PTL, OL etc. Just CFG:Open <path> and CFG:Save when done. 1.0 BETA 2 Removed case sensitivity from AddFilesFromDirectory. Added Patch Extract and ReBuild into right-click menu. Automatically saves and reloads mods before rebuilding. Misc changes. 1.0 BETA 1 Too many changes to list since 0.9.3 Download 1.0 BETA

People, there are some things that just shouldn't ever be combined. Other examples of this include Batman and credit cards, and LEGO and The Simpsons.

    LEGO The Simpsons?

We're not up in arms about that(Well I'm not). We're up in arms about LEGO + Simpsons. It's just.... Terrible.

But DrDeath posted in it and he's not a contributor. It must be an issue with the Editors group. It's your sacrifice for bringing us news of the outside world.

    LEGO The Simpsons?

A lot of people on Brickset who are in support of this notion are pointing out that LEGO has done the Pirates of the Caribbean license, and the main character Jack Sparrow is rather well known for his affinity for rum (e.g. "Why is the rum gone?"). So therefore, even though Homer Simpson drinks beer all the time and many of his jokes revolve around beer, it wouldn't be too inappropriate for LEGO, right? Actually... "... and if anyone is wondering whether [a LEGO minifigure] may drink alcohol, the answer is again no. Only historical figures such as knights in armour and pirates can be equipped with a barrel of beer or bottle of rum." (Source) Yeah, it would. Jack Sparrow gets away with rum because he's a pirate and therefore considered a "historical figure". The Simpsons is set in modern day society, and the modern Homer Simpson drinks modern beer. And it's too big a part of his character to simply overlook, LEGO... a bowdlerized LEGO Homer Simpson without beer would be like a bowdlerized LEGO Alien without the chestburster... well, bursting someone's chest. You know, for kids! And seriously, LEGO? Don't you remember why you rejected The Winchester, a CUUSOO project based on a pub in the zombie apocalypse? "...we have decided that – good though the model is – the film Shaun of the Dead contains content that is not appropriate for our core target audience of children ages 6-11." Yeah, I don't suppose that the fact that the set was a pub had anything to do with it? While the Simpsons might not be violent, it's certainly not a kid's show either... true, kids do watch it, but kids also watch South Park and Family Guy, and for the love of Ole Kirk, LEGO, do not take that as a hint to start negotiating those licenses! LEGO. WHY DO YOU GO AGAINST YOUR OWN VALUES? ... Yeah, in case you can't tell, I'm not pleased by these negotiations at all.

  10. Thanks for the permission, I just hope I don't ruin it About the colored pixels, that's probably due to jpeg compression. Jpegs are never truly black-and-white, in fact I don't think a jpeg ever has pure black or white in it at all... instead the "black" is made of reallyreallyreally dark shades of blue and red. Protip: never, EVER save anything as jpeg while still working with it. It's okay to save it as one once it's finished to save space, but jpeg compression will really screw up your work. I don't know what a histogram is since I usually don't use the more advanced tools, but this is the procedure I use whenever I color a picture: 1. After scanning, I open the picture in MSPaint (it's easier to work with), resize it, crop it, and save it as .png 2. Open the .png file in Gimp 3. Use "desaturate" to remove any and all trace of color in the picture, reducing it to greyscale. 3. Use "Posterize" to reduce it to as few shades of grey as possible. I can never go all the way to pure BW since I lose a lot of detail like that, so I have to leave a few shades of grey in there. 4. Use the "select by color" tool to select all the white areas. 5. Invert the selection. 6. Take an enormous black pencil and scribble over the entire image. Since at this point everything except white is selected, it should only cover the outline. This method is not foolproof so you will probably have to fix a few lines by had, but it works well. Try it sometime, if you don't like it you can always do something different.

Oh, I was talking about if somebody gets the great idea to place a bunch of buildings in a pool of lava so they have literally no purpose other than to annoy me because I can't take their crystals.

    Hidden Areas

In frozen frenzy there is a island covered in energy crystals (34-45+) to reach it go to the north and drill until you find a new cavern then east and drill some more that will open a new tunnel go to the end of the tunnel then go north again and drill the rocks on the west of that area you will now continue to drill and then you should find the island. on water lot of fun build up until you have a dock and a support station then head over to the abandoned base and drill the walls there and eventually you find a huge tunnel that leads to your base on the other side of the river also I forgot to mension the tunnel is full of resourses that is all right now. i will post the locations of more areas when i find them
