    Assorted Drome Racers Goodness

I was looking around tonight when I found something of interest. One of the environment artists for Drome Racers, Matthew Stephen, has posted some images from his work on the game to the 'net, including some renders of Monument Park, a piece of concept art, and what appear to be GUI mock-ups. Monument Park renders and GUI mock-ups: http://www.coroflot.com/matthewstephen/Lego-Drome-Racers Concept art resembling the main garage (scroll down a little bit): http://www.coroflot.com/matthewstephen/Miscellaneous He also has some of the Monument Park stuff on his website: http://www.gravityartservices.com/ Interesting to see he's worked on Motorstorm games - I've never played any, but I do like the looks of them.

    LEGO Movie Maker app

A couple of days ago I stumbled upon an official LEGO Movie Maker app from TLG on the ios app store. It's been out for over a year so everyone might already know about it I'm sure there's plenty of stop-motion apps out there but it's nice to have an official LEGO one. It's nothing fancy, there's just a couple of very basic effects and onion skinning. But it's free so why not? I guess this is the evolution of the old Studios software. I had a lot of fun with that back in the day so it's nice to see TLG are still supporting brickfilms. I used the app on my phone to make this terrible little test video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnDptk_tGb4 There is a little bit of post production in there but you get the idea

    LEGO® Racers Exam

I Completed the exam without any errors! Great Exam! Too bad school didn't give us exams on video games that we might have played. Because then we could choose which game to be tested on and it would be based on common knowledge. Then to get the answers in school we could play that game to see if we got it right. That would be so cool!!!

A vist to LEGO Island's beach

I can only take so much Lego Island Insanity before it's too much. That's why I don't post in every topic. This forum isn't as fast as others so give it at least a few days before wondering why no one is saying anything.

    Yard sale fun!

Alcom's Journal. 8/8/2012, Entry 1. I have found another piece of evidence proving the existence of the A'yard'sale, the legendary temple filled with ancient LEGO Sets available prices unheard of. It is a script from a man named El Scorcho, in which he claims to have acquired two ancient sets for $25. I estimate that this piece of writing was made sometime in the early 21st century. It gives no indication as to where the temple is, or whether or not the temple still stands, but I now firmly believe that the temple exists, and that it can be found.
