I dunno which is worse, the joke, or the fact that you apparently knew it wasn't funny but posted it anyway. Look, I don't want to go everywhere telling you how to post/how not to post, but... seriously, could you please think your replies through at least a little more before submitting them?

List of in-game tricks, secrets, and easter eggs

Are you seriously implying that I would somehow "cheat" to show something that, if it had actually been a "cheat", could have been easily disproved by anybody else? That would be an incredibly stupid thing to do. Yet here you are refusing to believe something multiple people have said and one actually shown with a screenshot, yet you're claiming they're all lying, without you even testing it for yourself. Wow. Edit: Here's a video I recorded to show you, as apparently you don't want to test it for yourself:

It is a reaction which has absolutely nothing to do with the subject. There is nothing related to space of any kind, unless you are referring to the total volume that the biggest head fills. Perhaps I should just report every instance of you posting that link as spam? Eh, I'll probably do it anyway. EDIT: I see that this is not the space clip. However, I really don't care. It's better to post pictures than audio, as I can always see pictures but not always access the audio, plus there is more humor to see in visuals. Or better yet, write out your thoughts in words. Either way, I'm going to look at all the posts you've done recently, and I hope they will not be portal clips. EDIT 2: now that i have actually heard what it is i want you to pack your bags

Explorer (LEGO Digital Designer file): https://www.rockraidersunited.com/files/dl-r192/ [NEWS]: (2021-10-21): With a delay of about three weeks I noticed that this thread is 10 years old XD. Let's see, if I can come up with something insightful on the spot to distract from my "perfect" timing^^: I still think that this is a cool project and I would probably do it again . With today's software and hardware that's easier to do than 10 years ago and makes you appreciate the effort that the people at DDI & LEGO put into designing the ship over 20 years ago. In regards to what I expected from making this thread/model and what actually happened the results are a bit all over the place: on one side I hoped that it would get featured on blogs and websites besides RRU and maybe even getting the attention from the LEGO Company itself, but that didn't really work out (I only remember two times, where the model was featured in a blog or video). Maybe I am too introverted and not annoying enough on social media to make the existence of this ship known to everyone XD. On the other side this thread has gotten a ton of views and replies over the last decade and people started to integrate the ship model into a game (like Manic Miners from baraklava) or game engine or make MOCs based on the digital models. Also a big thanks to Cyrem and Cirevam, because otherwise RRU wouldn't exist as a central hub for Rock Raiders related content. 1:8 scale LMS Explorer

This is my latest creation. It has some flaws (e.g. the engines), but it was sometimes very hard to find the right pieces etc. Otherwise I chose this scale, because it was a challenge to build a smaller version which contains lot of details too. pieces: ~5000 to ~5300 bricks (depending on the version) building time: hmm, maybe 30 to 50 hours scale: not exactly 1:8 but very close to it (~1:8,25) (compared to my 1:1 scale version of the LMS Explorer, which is 975 studs long) construction program: LDD (but I have converted the model into ldr (MLCAD) and lcd (LeoCAD) files, too) dimensions: Length: 116 studs/ 91,36 cm/ 35,97 in. Width: 17 studs/ 13,49 cm/ 5,31 in. Height: 16 studs/ 12,70 cm/ 5,00 in. LEGO Awesomeness

Dude, those kinds of things. They're like my lego dreams come true. Ah, one of my favorite chiptunes. Those aren't cool. Those are awesome. Now to share my own: What's better than a Cthulhu? A LEGO Cthulhu. I don't know why, but I like how this minifig and his equipment looks. What's a good story without our intrepid heroes having to cross an old, creaky bridge. I'm sorry, those last two are the LEGO adventurer in me.

    1:8 scale LMS Explorer

Afaik the processor was released in 2007. Today probably even a low budget dual core is better than my CPU^^ (e.g. Intel Celeron G530 etc.). It's still some money, but it's definitely not in the "one billion dollar"-league. Maybe the time heavily depends on the options and programs you use, although the final result may look the same. (Time for some !SCIENCE! to figure that out ). @Fushigisaur: Yeah, the back part always bothered me, because it's a bunch of compromises. Nonetheless I will add your idea to my to-do List. Maybe I will figure out a good solution some day.

Woah, these have an uncanny resemblance with the Lego Racer minifigures. Er, I mean, when I see these guys I think "Yup, that's Lego Racers material." I guess Axel/Axle and the crew are back to take the championship in Lego Racers 3.

  22. Thank you Cyrem. Now every picture is watchable in this thread . I've also something for you, folks: I completed my LDD bridge model (I don't know, why I ignored this unfinished project for such a long time), which looks better than the two older versions (bridge in the 1:1 model and the separate bridge model). I've uploaded the pictures in the first post of this thread, which is better for overview reasons. Personally I like my solution for the lights above the control panels, because you could use the technique in real life (my other bridge versions havn't this feature, because I hadn't cared about collision control or some RL fixation of the bricks). PS: Thank you, Lair. Your uploaded picture from a lego magazine on page two of this thread was also very helpful .

Um... No. Obviously this story was about a duck, and I am officially ending it now. Also your post has nothing to do with a duck, and therefore should not have been posted, and no I did not fall for your little sound trick. Please refrain from posting off topic crap. Thank You.

  25. I don't really need to say anything in reply to what you said to me, everyone has pretty much covered it. The LEGO Chima theme is not my cup of tea coffee and so I do not know anything about it's story or 'world'. Regardless, it doesn't matter if it's a bird/robot/plane/car/ant/clown... it doesn't change what I said about visualizing your story. I'm just trying to help you write a better. On the LMB's I see you've received comments like 'cool'/'awesome' etc. While these comments are nice and up-building... they have no criticism/ideas/suggestions of any kind. Believe it or not, this is a bad thing. You have no bar to measure your story against and no way of knowing if you're getting better or worse. We have provided you with feedback better than all of those "cool" comments combined, we've given you things to work on to help you be a better writer. This will help you write stories for ages to come. EDIT: I see you added a new chapter. Unfortunately because you copied it from the LMB's it has all the bad style formatting with it. To get rid of the bad styling (I'm talking about the white text background) paste it in Notepad, copy the text in Notepad, then paste it into the topic. This will get rid of the styling. Alternatively, there is a button in this editor (top right, looks like a gear) which has the option of pasting as plain text, turn that on. The new chapter is also full of spelling mistakes, but I'll leave that up to you to fix this time.

  29. Research into what? You posted some fan fiction from the LMBs. The focus of this site doesn't affect that. WTF are you even talking about with this bird thing? A quick search tells me that the "bird" in question is actually this set:EDIT EDIT: Formatting weirdness let to link being removed, too lazy to get it back. But, to be fair, there is no way that someone unfamiliar with the Chima theme could have possibly known that from how it was described. It says there was a blue bird with a jet engine in its ass, so why would anyone think it was something other than a blue bird with a jet engine in its ass? EDIT: After re-reading the line in question it turns out it does, in fact, say that while it looks like a bird it's really a jet. My bad. But with how it's written it's an easy mistake to make. Still doesn't affect the critique in any way, shape, or form. /EDIT And while this detail does change the story a bit (which is a fault on the writers end, not the readers end), it does not change a single thing thing that Cyrem said. What he said had nothing to do with the jet-bird-whatever, and one does not need to know what the hell it is to be able to tell you why your writing is bad.

Getting back to my roots, sort of.

I have made a pair of new mining vehicles. The first is Deepbore 1, a rock crusher. Description This the Deepbore 1. It is a remotely operated rockface grinder powered externally. The borehead is articulated to allow the operator to reach faces that are not perpendicular to the machine. Movement is provided by in wheel motors. -RI heavy It was inspired by the drill tank in this: [link] The second is the Loadozer {lo dozer} (I wish that I could adjust those actuators in LDD.) Description This is the Loadozer. It is currently the only hybrid made by RI Heavy, with ICE, battery, and on-grid modes. The reason for this is that it is meant for underground mines and similar environments. Its engine is a v6 muiltfuel diesel. All of its systems are electric outside of that. There is no mechanical transmission. Rather it uses in-wheel electric motors. All of the controls are on the steering yoke, which [is] mounted on a semi-ridged mount. It should be noted that it is taller than most vehicles of this type.

    Rock Raiders Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting LEGO Rock Raiders Game Installer Not Running First try running the installing in compatibility mode for Windows 98. If it still does not work, you can still salvage your game by following this guide. "Missing d3drm.dll" Error When Running Rock Raiders Firstly you'll need to download the missing DLL here. Then place this DLL file in your installation directory (Usually "C:\Program Files\LEGO Media\Games\Rock Raiders" ) or in your C:\Windows\System\System32 folder. Game Videos Not Playing First ensure you have the game disc in the drive as the video files are on the disc. If the videos still don't play you may need to install this required codec. Music Won't Play The game is burnt like an audio CD, allowing it to be played in CD players. First ensure you have the game disc in the drive as the music files are on the disc. Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for the music not to play. One of the reasons is that you have a reproduction copy which does not have the audio track on the disc, this is a common issue. Game Lag on Windows 8/10 LEGO Rock Raiders will lag in fullscreen mode when it is run on Windows 8/10. The only known solution to this issue is to run the game in windowed mode. Other solutions to try for problems Before creating a topic about your issue, please try some extra troubleshooting, such as these. Run the game with compatibility mode for Windows XP. Turn on 'Disable Visual Themes', 'Disable Desktop Composition' and 'Reduced Colour Mode' for 16bit for newer systems. Run the game in administrator mode. Run the game in windowed mode. Try the Microsoft Compatibility Toolkit. Unable to find a Solution If these solutions are unable to fix your problem, please post a topic in this forum. Please include details from the following list. Providing these details will speed up the help process. Operating System Version (e.g Windows 10) Graphics Card Model (e.g AMD Radeon R970x) Description of the issue. What you have already tried. Screenshots of the issue.
