A LEGO Friends videogame is coming out? Ridiculous. It already came out. Fourteen years ago. Yes, I do realize that this LEGO Friends game shares only the title with the current LEGO Friends theme and is instead based very loosely on LEGO Scala. However, one can only hope that, this time around, LEGO's attempt to appeal to the girl demographic produces something that is actually, you know, a videogame and not the rejected The Legends of Zelda: The Sitcom of Friendsville that was originally planned for Phillips CD-i.

Sorry that the images suck, I don't have a good location to photograph. You could think of this as an upgrade to the Tunnel Scout for the game, or a stand-alone model. Either one works. Oh, and I just realized that this piece isn't over the engines (where the tube is) which is where it SHOULD be. I'll have better pics eventually. Comments and advice appreciated.

I was messing around with the LEGO logo from the classic games and ended up with this: Personally I think having something like this at the start of LEGO games would have been much more exciting than the gentle falling bricks of old. Although I am a fan of the falling bricks, but that might just be nostalgia :P

My aim is to recreate as many (old) minifigures in LEGO Racers. Right now I'm focusing on LEGO Space minifigures. This is what I already textured. Hey guys! After a delay of almost 4 months, I'm back with my newest RR building creation, presenting the Guardian Outpost! The Guardian Outpost is the ultimate base defence, it consists of two main towers, each housing a laser cannon and sonic emitter dish. The laser cannon serves to destroy any rock monsters trying to wreck your base (or act as a mining laser if you want ), while the sonic emitter dishes scare away any pesky slimy slugs looking for a quick EC snack. Thats not all! It also comes packed with two landing pads, each housing a tunnel scout so you can perform reconnaissance & scouting missions. Moreoever, unlike most other buildings, the Guardian Outpost can just be teleported down instead of having to go through the labourious process of having to set up the barriers and carry the resources over etc if you have the necessary ores & ECs. This way you can quickly reinforce an area far away from your main base to protect your Raiders or the resources they are trying to collect. Hope you all like it! A creation by RRChief

I felt like drawing a female, so... I don't want to tackle the main characters yet, I didn't want to do a pilot 'cause Jet, and I couldn't remember the uniforms for the other jobs, so I did another standard raider. This one was actually easier because I had already done the first one as practice. I altered the vest a bit, this time basing it more off of Sparks's outfit. As with the first one, I only had my 3DS to take a picture, will have higher-quality upload tomorrow.

I did make my avatar Cyrem. Thank you. Supposedly there was an alternate time stream with all of the characters reversed in some Bionicle story or another and Teridax was a good guy with a golden Kraahkan (which was the mask of light in that place). I could recolor this one sometime to be that one. Update- I recolored the Kraahkan. My avatar is now half shadow, half light, and all Teridax. Take that space-time continuum.

Oh man, you guys aren't gonna believe this stuff... Tom and I talked quite a bit via email today, and Bill Benecke (the concept artist guy) got involved too. They're really great guys, both very friendly, and were happily surprised to hear the game has fans. Here's the rundown. So, I initially emailed Tom and briefed him on the game/theme's status as a well-loved classic in the LEGO community, our progress in modding it, and the various finds regarding LEGO Logic and such, and basically asked if he had any info he could add to this. Boy, did he ever! So yeah, my jaw dropped. I sent an email back, thanking him for the details, and also linking him to this and this as examples of what fans have done with the theme. He loved them, and added that he's gonna try to dig up some more LEGO Logic and Alpha Team development stuff sometime.
