Oh you silly, silly, people. When will you ever learn how to use a real translator? Page 1 Page 2 Page 3 Page 4 Seriously though, I ran the entire comic through Bad Translator on various settings, and that was the result. I have absolutely no idea how it came up with some of these things.

My reply is a bit late but that's because I've been thinking about this blog. I have to say, I wish there were more of these types of blogs. When people come and say hi, it's great... but later on it's nice to hear a little more about when you first began here, more open and honest. So first I went back in time to check out your introduction topic again. You didn't like emoticons so didn't use them. I can see that has somewhat changed, you use them a bit now. For some reason I said ROLFCOPTER is win... I don't know why . Anyway! While your intro topic wasn't long, the topic actually had some decent game design discussion and was genuinely friendly. You mentioned that when you saw the site you thought it looked professional. This is something I have always strived for. While the content of the forum is what counts, the appearance of the site is the first thing you see. This can make or break your opinion of the website and could cause you to stay or leave within seconds. Before we moved to the new forums when we were using the free software It came to the decision of: I have the seemingly growing successful forum, do I leave it as it is and keep plotting along? or do I make the change and give it all I have and hope it all works out? I took the chance, it paid off. I consider myself very lucky given the chances of me starting to mod and create a forum for a not-so-popular game that was almost 10 years old... and it actually turning out to be a success. Oh yes, and the coke jokes. They were great... and I seem to recall saying I would send you a coke challenge of how many cans you could do in a day... Then you went through that 'stoned' stage which was a little strange. I'm glad you went against your friends the "lego-killers" and joined... I'd be the lone Aussie without you. Despite there being member ranks I think it is important to remember that all members are valued regardless of their rank. Every single one of you makes the community, without you(and I'm talking to everyone here) there is one less person to talk to. There are less posts/ideas/opinions and that wouldn't be enjoyable. Tensions build, stupid things get said... things you generally wouldn't have said otherwise, I'm no exception. It happens, everyone has to deal with it. Sometimes you get into an argument and say things without thinking it out, but by the time you realize this... it's too late. This is no different from most families, we all need to knock each other back in-line again once in a while, it's a good thing. We do this because we care. People just need to see it this way. Every now and then a member of the family leaves, usually a result of some argument. But arguments aren't forever, they are this little tiny thing that can occur in seconds and can somehow destroy days, months and years of work and friendship. Are you going to let something like this get in your way, or will you resolve the problem?... or even just forget it occurred? It's something to think about. In a lot of cases it's not reasonable to leave over petty disputes, after all RRU is not about two individuals, it's about everyone. A lot of these things tend to work themselves out in time... enemies become friends etc... Unfortunately some people leave before any healing can begin. Anyway I'm babbling on... Thank you.

    Rock Raiders montage

You people need education. Basically, these are a parody of the constant gameplay montages people upload to YouTube, claiming to be "MLG" (Major League Gaming, in other words "Professional). The creators of said montages usually displayed foul behaviour, telling people to "get on their level". These videos were created to mock the creators of the original montage. Basically, they use the over-the-top camera tricks, colour filters, text, constant camera cuts, zoom in and outs etc, that original montage makers use, but of course, these guys go WAY over the top, and then use 1337-5p34k and whatnot in the description to parody the behaviour of the montage creators. These things are always hilarious. Especially considering they usually use slower-pace games like Farm/Train/Fork-Lift Simulator and even Internet Explorer.

Huh, that's interesting. Because according to my ever-accurate translation of German, this is actually a pivotal plot point of the comic, wherein the presence of an anomaly leaves Sparks with no choice but to let Tim drive the Granite Grinder. But while the Rock Raiders struggle to figure out the source of this anomaly while dodging an angry Rock Monster, can they hope to cure Docs of his Testosterone Poisoning?

Translation of the comic is still on-topic. While Google Translate isn't perfect, it gets it right some of the time. Additionally, different cultures have different tolerances of words. So a word you might think is bad, might not be viewed that way somewhere else. Due to the way language works, you can't get 1:1 word translation. PeaBodySam wasn't trying to translate it, he was captioning that picture for a joke to... you know... make people laugh.

    Wot I Fink: Family

I never thought I'd have to do this kind of entry, but my feelings on the matter are quite high, and I think I have some explaining to do. I'm sorry in advance. Hopefully it will never come to this again. I remember first joining RRU. It was just before dinner on a school night, all the way back in 2010. I had just gone through my emails (this was my second email account) on my brothers computer in his room (already showing who would be the richer one), and found a brand new RRU newsletter mysteriously sitting in the previously empty (again, second account; my first one had 2) RRU Newsletter category. For some reason, I had categorised RRU Newsletters without even being an active member on the site (yet). At first, it was my scary. I had been to forums before, but this one felt...different. It looked like the admin had spent a lot of time and effort, going out of his way to purchase his own domain and forum software, instead of using the free forums of the time. It felt...professional. I, at the time, wasn't even sure if I would be committed to staying. I just made an introduction topic, as you do, and went off on my merry way to dinner, before then playing a few hours of PS1 and then passing out. The next day I woke up, and I was astounded; the admin had personally responded to me, alongside some moderators and other members. I felt...brilliant. I never had such a warm welcome in my life. I posted a bit more, here and there, being careful to make sure I didn't annoy anybody or break anything I wasn't supposed to. I slowly gathered confidence and became more and more invested in the site. I started to download some of the tools, and screw around LegoRR, seeing if I could contribute something, anything, to the site, so I wouldn't just be dead-wood. Eventually I ventured into the unknown abyss of the Shoutbox. I had done IRC before, but most chats were dead, and many of the people were pretty quiet, even when talking. But, something was different. These people were...alive. And entertaining. They all had unique personalities and stories. They didn't bite (not at first at least; Zephyria ). I spent more time interacting with them, and starting to feel like I might actually be a part of this..."family". We all know the story from there. Boy finds some dead code nobody knew how to work with, boy plays around with it, boy accidentally is able to get multiple minifigure types into the game, boy because instant success. And after that, things went everywhere. I climbed my way through the post counts while witnessing (and being a major part of) many various conflicts on the site, learning to animate under the wing of Cirevam while everyone chortled "Does he love cub or coke?" This place grew on me, and it's pretty much been a better place than my own home. I tell you this story because of that word; "family". That's what we, more or less, are. Cyrem's the single parent, the moderators are the older siblings, the new editors are the nosy kids who like to shower everyone with gossip, the donators are the spoiled goodie-two-shoes, the contributors are also spoiled goodie-two-shoes ( ) and then we have all the other younger siblings. That just how it is on this site. As much as a family stands together, I've seen more of a family falling apart. And this one is no different. We all have our difference in opinions, in the way we do things, and the way we communicate. It shows most online, and especially here, where the anticipation between each post builds up moreso than on a instant messaging service. That's a problem inherit in forums, but it seems to be less of a problem here. Nonetheless, we still have parts of it showing up, and mostly within myself (See the side-rant in the spoiler below). It happens in cycles, and those cycles are regular, and it's happening right now. A certain member appears to shake up the website, and embarks on a journey where we are constantly disappointed by their actions and their words, to the point where some of us outright (and people, we all must admit it sometime, despite how we'd normally say "we just stumbled upon this topic by accident") follow their post rampage, hoping they'll eventually listen to us, as we try to defuse a ticking timebomb that could bring an end to forum order itself. Or so we think. Cyrem has a nice giant big "UNDO" button in his office. Since that first night, when I nervously jumped online to and posted a hello, hoping I wouldn't be ripped in half, I've meet a lot of people on this site (not in real life, but that's not important). I've grown and changed, and I've formed opinions on people. We all know who I respect, who I feel can be a bit "excessive" at times, and who I want nothing more than to throw out the airlock. But recently, I've been challenging my own opinions and fighting with myself and my actions. That said, one person has constantly set my entire brain on fire and locked all the fire hydrants. I won't name names. You know who it is. You know that person, on this site or not, has demonstrated a lack of respect, blatant ignorance, and contempt for authority. I'm not here to rip them apart to shreds. Instead, I'm here to...apologise. Yes, I'm serious. Not to them, oh hell no. But instead to the staff and members of this site, and to anybody else who had been caught in the cross-fire. Sometimes I get out of hand. I go beserk and then attempt to justify my actions as being right, when I'm no better (and that's hard to say for some people) than the person I'm trying to call out. It's of great disrespect to myself, and to the forums when new members come and see what I've posted. I hold a position of, relatively, some power, and to act as I do...I should know better. We should know better. It's not right for me to hide behind this computer and call out people, only to reflect poorly myself on those who have worked harder than me to bring us all together in the first place. Respect must be given if it is to be earned, and in many ways, I have been undoing what respect I gave to the staff and members here that I worked up with great effort. One step forward and three steps back. There's not much that can be done now on my end, apart from holding back in future, and letting the moderators and the admin deal with this whole mess as they see fit. But, nonetheless, if I'm committed to stopping this, I do need to throw something off my chest, else I'll never breathe again. I have never met a person like the one I am talking about right now. Never ever. An attitude so fowl, I should have smelt it from his very first post in the RIP topic. His constant derogatory, "innocent-until-never-proven-guilty" persona fills me with so much hate and bile, I'm considering seeing a doctor. We tried to justify it as the person being "young", but even then, many younger members have, more or less, settled down after contact with a member of staff, and their annoying tendencies have been little more than a small itch that's easily scratched away. I will not be silent about this person in private, and I would happily, if not given the fact that this is supposed to be civilised communal gathering and that I am supposed to be a pillar of respect and patience, stand in front of ANY member, one I have little respect for or not, and defend them from this maniac. They do not represent what we do, what we say, or who we are. They do not understand what it means to be a part of this community. They are not family. And that is Wot I Fink.

    LEGO and Sony Join Forces

Researchers at Sony Computer Science Laboratories have partnered with LEGO, to create experimental video game-LEGO model hybrids. It's very reminiscent of LEGO Spybotics, but with modern technology. The player models are operated via PlayStation controllers, with computer-controlled models to compete against. According to Sony, LEGO is concerned about losing kids to video games, and are interested in merging video games with LEGO sets directly. The project is very experimental and still has a lot of things to work out - such as short battery life - and plans for commercial products haven't solidified yet, but it should be interesting to see where this goes. 16. I found more statistics: I'm not sure what to make of this console generation. The last console I seriously wanted was the Gamecube, and the Wii was a bit "yeah sure, let's get one." I don't have any real interest in these new consoles, but maybe that's because I have a computer that's not trash. Before I got this one, consoles were my only option for quality gaming experiences.

Battle of the Consoles: E3 Update!

Dear All, (Scroll Down for the E3 Update) Yes, as you know, with the topics and status updates and the News entries being posted, The whole "Battle of the Consoles" seems to be the latest trend, and I am here with my full opinion to this social epidemic. So where do I begin? How about the Wii U? The Wii U. I used to love Nintendo a lot. I have owned many systems from them: The Nintendo, N64, GBC, GBA, GBA SP, DS Lite, and the DSi XL. I mainly played Pokémon, Mario, Kirby, or Legend of Zelda. Being a Pokéfan, I played the games up until Black/White (yet to play B/W 2). I wasn't too keen on the animating of the Pokémon from B/W, nor was I excited about some of the new Gen's selection (yet who is? Go Gen I and II!). After seeing the Japanese trailer for the upcoming Pokémon movie, Mewtwo's Awakening, and hearing about Pokémon X/Y, I was thrilled. It has been a long time since they had done anything with Mewtwo and seeing his new form really got me interested... Until that one day in Gamestop. I was just browsing games while my mom was getting her hair cut next door, and I was talking to the guy working the counter. Just a normal conversation, asking if they had B/W 2. After a while my mom came in and we were going to go get food for our camping trip. Right as we headed for the door, a commercial came on. The commercial for the new X/Y. I watched it, and then I wished I had never seen it. Pokémon X/Y was going to be a bloody 3DS exclusive. That really cracked my shield. The 3DS. THE F***ING 3DS. This thing has pissed me off since it came out. To me, the 3D on it is horrible. Another reason I don't like the 3DS (other than the price tag) it that on May 31, 2013, one of my favorite DSi features called Flipnote Hatena, where you can post digital flipbooks from Flipnote Studio to the web, is canceling their service to move to the 3DS. I have sent a complaint email to both Nintendo and Flipnote Hatena asking why they can't have both services running. Their replies: Nintendo: As of right now, we have no information saying that the DSi services will be closed. The Shutdown notification was posted 2 months before I sent the email. Flipnote Hatena: We have no control over what happens with these services. You might consider contacting Nintendo. In my email to them I specifically stated that I had contacted Nintendo and they had failed to answer my question. So, BOTH companies ignored my questions and gave me bullcrap answers. I am no longer satisfied with Nintendo. As far as the Wii U goes, I do not like the idea with the controller having a scee- no wait. It's a tablet with buttons. NOT a controller. Also I can't imagine why Nintendo went from a Wii which got you up and moving to a Wii U, which you are... not up and moving. (Surely had nothing to do with the amount of damage done with the Wii remotes being slung through TV screens.) Anyways, not a fan. PlayStation 4. I actually don't have much to say, seeing as how I have been an Xbox person. I do have a PS2, which I got for Christmas a long time ago, being our first disc console. It was really great for it's time, but did wear out after time, but you know. I often played LEGO STAR WARS and LEGO Indiana Jones, as well as the GTA games and Dark Cloud. I loved that game. It was my first upgradable character game, which sparked my interest in them. The PS3, never had one, never played one. I can't say much on the PS4 as said earlier. Now on to the big "One" (sarcastic laughter) Xbox One. Where do I go from here? It all started when my uncle had brought over his old Xbox and gave it to us, since he had gotten the new Xbox 360 (the old white one as of now). We played it a lot and kind of fell away from the PS2 as it had problems reading discs. That was when I found, you guessed it, Halo 1. At first it was different, but as I played it more, I started liking it more and blah, blah, blah, you get the idea. Then a few Christmases ago, we got the sleek black Xbox 360 we have now. Nice console and features, but it did lack the Blu-ray drive that the PS3 had at the time, which the Xbox One is now equipped with. And then came Minecraft on the 360, and profits skyrocketed. I very much enjoyed playing it and I still do. And what made my year 2012 was my preorder copy of Halo 4. Then we hit a wall. Xbox LIVE. At the time, we didn't have wireless internet. We soon upgraded and got a Verizon internet card with a 5 gig cap (limit) and we could get on LIVE game updates and DLC, but we had to watch our usage. A while later, we upgraded to Dish Network and ordered the DishNet Satellite Internet. Now with practically unlimited internet, we could pretty much download a lot of content and updates with no problem. Or so we thought. One day, we decided to go on LIVE with our new internet, but we couldn't download anything. We continued to try, with no luck. Finally, I decided to contact Microsoft customer support. What the f*** did I get myself into? I spent 4 full hours of my time in a support chat. We went through everything they could think of, nothing happened. then I was escalated to the next level up, no luck. Escalated again, and still nothing. Then I got Escalated to the highest branch of the support team. I was feeling pretty special now. Then they said that they will email me in 3-5 days while they work on a solution. So I waited, and waited, and waited, and wai- Oh? I have an email. Let's see... Thank you for contacting us hmhm hmh mhh. We have been working with your problem etc, etc, etc. If you use satellite internet, Xbox LIVE won't support it. There are too many bugs. I f***ing lost it. I replied asking them if there was a way around it, also saying "And if LIVE doesn't support satellite internet, then why can I connect and see that the f***ing advertisements loaded just fine?" Of course, they didn't answer that question. So it took 4 hours in a support chat, 3 days of waiting, and 1 email for Microsoft to find out my problem. Now I am stuck with a 2000 Halo 4 Map Pack already paid for that I can't download, I can't update Minecraft anymore, and I can't get the Skyrim DLC that I wanted. As for the Xbox One, I don't f***ing know. All they talked about is tv and sports, showing little for new games. I guess I should get one to continue the Halo series, but I don't know at the moment. It seems that the only company I'm not in a hate relationship with is Sony. They do make great products, and I don't have any negativity towards them... yet... My decision on the better console has yet to be announced (between Xbox One and PS4. Wii U lost my vote a long time ago). I am awaiting the E3 Showcase to see more of what each have to offer. Also, as statistics go, as I said in the ongoing topic, I don't care about statistics. I just care whether the games are good or not. Well, this was a lot longer than I thought it was, but I felt that I should reveal my opinions. That is all I have to say on the matter as of today, and I may update this after E3. NEW E3 UPDATE! ...And then we have the TT Games. I'm sorry, but that's what LEGO gets for allowing production of half-assed games with their products. And making a buckton of licensed themes. I'm sorry. Leave or not?

When you have ideas, write them down on a document (digital, because it lasts). Flesh them out thoroughly before posting. Make drawings, models, whatever it is you do. When you're going to post an idea for something, look around. See if someone else has recently posted something similar, and if someone has, consider collaborating with them. Part of the problem is with your responses to people's comments. At times, yes, people are rude. I'm often a jerk. But when people offer helpful criticisms, things to improve, you often ignore them and then explode. That's the real problem. When you post something here, expect more often than not to receive criticisms. If all you want is compliments, post on the LMB wiki or LMBs. You choose to leave or stay. I was definitely out of line when I said earlier that you should consider leaving. I think that this blog is a step in the right direction. You're acknowledging that there is a problem. Now work on fixing it.

Calcite Copter VS Cybernetic Rock Monster

Long after their famous mission to Planet U, the LEGO Rock Raiders have traveled to a jungle planet on the far side of the galaxy. Beneath the planet's surface, they have discovered that the planet is rich in Brickonium Energy Crystals and other rare minerals. However, much like Planet U, these underground caverns are home to beings of living rock and crystal. But then, as the Rock Raiders stumble the ruins of an underground insectoid civilization, they uncover some dark secrets of the past... including one of the insectoids' "little" experiments. Calcite Copter The Rock Raiders Calcite Copter is a one-man aircraft designed for quick travel in underground caverns. Its sleek design lets it cut through the air with ease during flight, while its propeller, stabilized by means of advanced Rock Raider technology, gives it full vertical access to descend into the deepest underground trenches. The Calcite Copter also has a mounted mining laser turret that, when powered up with blue Brickonium, can cut through even hard rock with ease, although it expends much of the crystal's energy in doing so. Although designed for speed and maneuverability, the Calcite Copter is not particularly well-armored, and Jet was in for a horrific surprise when she stumbled upon this cybernetic rock monster! Gallery Cybernetic Rock Monster There is no name for this monstrosity, although some of the Rock Raiders have taken to referring to it by the nickname "Mad Jack". This ancient creature was once made of living rock and crystal, much like most of the rock monsters throughout the LEGO Universe. However, it was cybernetically enhanced by a civilization long since ruined, which replaced entire parts of its rock body with incredible machinery powered by a powerful energy crystal implanted into its chest. Now, this terror roams the underground caverns of the planet, posing a nightmare to anyone unfortunate to meet its rock claws and steel teeth. Gallery ----- This was a project I was working on since late 2010. The idea for the cybernetic rock monster was loosely inspired by Mad Jack from Donkey Kong 64. Here's concept artwork, along with some artist's comments. If you want to see 360o rotations of the models and some of the ways they can be moved, here's a video showcasing the models. Comments and constructive criticism are welcome!

Well, this topic is a mess. There is hardly ever highly offensive posts being made on RRU. Always, I repeat, ALWAYS assume it was a joke if you are unsure. Text does not convey emotion. Remeber back when McJobless said: He was indirectly helping you to get out of a possible warning for flaming. "Covering your back" as it were. Unfortunately you took that the wrong way and confirmed in nice big writing that you really were trying to flame him. This is not how forums work. Members cannot control when people can and cannot post. Moderators control how far they topics stray from it's purpose, you have no need to worry about this.

    Leave or not?

I believe the main thing people don't like is when you over-react and flame people that are helping you. Stop doing that and stop telling people to "get back on topic" and you would have less problems here. You have answered your own question.

    Wot I Fink: Family

You could guess, but you could be probably wrong. I never specifically said it was a member of this site, and even if it was any member of this site, they would probably read this, realise their mistakes and change for the better, making everyone happy again. And if you're going to let what happens online dictate what you do in real life, that's a problem. I never let comments made online get to me, and neither should you, because without knowing the person and seeing their emotion and body language, you have no idea if they're being serious, satirical or over-reacting.

Calcite Copter VS Cybernetic Rock Monster

jamesster has already said much more than he ever needed to say to defend the Calcite Copter. And I must say, thank you for that. But you know, while I'm here, I might as well also point out that the Calcite Copter is basically a flying Mobile Laser Cutter. Take a look at the Small and Large Mobile Laser Cutters, both of which are official Rock Raiders vehicles that are centered around mining. They don't have any minifigure accessories like pickaxes and shovels slapped on them just to shoehorn them into the Rock Raiders franchise. They're just vehicles with mounted mining lasers. And that definition is literally exactly what the Calcite Copter is: a vehicle with a mounted mining laser. Add in the Tunnel Scout's ability to fly, and you have a Rock Raiders vehicle that has all the mining capabilities of the Mobile Laser Cutters but is far more versatile in traveling through caverns; no longer restricted to cavern floor, but now able to fly over lava, water, and even crevices. Why wouldn't the Rock Raiders want a vehicle like this? Ignoring the fact that the Mobile Laser Cutters are completely useless in the PC game...

Calcite Copter VS Cybernetic Rock Monster

Yes they do. And I ask again, what do they have to do with the vehicles we are talking about? Your original post here specifically discussed the vehicle PeabodySam constructed, which you claimed had nothing to do with mining and therefore did not belong in the Rock Raiders theme (seeing as the first post in this topic gives it a detailed breakdown of how it mines with its laser, that's also complete nonsense - did you even read the topic before replying?): I posted official Rock Raiders vehicles that, unlike PeabodySam's custom vehicle, don't even have any mining-specific abilities (the hover scout just flies around, the rapid rider is basically just a cargo catamaran, and the two promotional sets are more variants on hover vehicles)... And now you're completely ignoring the vehicles and trying to talk about minifigure accessories? Sir, you are making absolutely no sense. Yet again, you've completely ignored everything said in reply to you and only spewed the exact same irrelevant nonsense from your previous post. This is getting quite ridiculous. Do you not have anything useful to say here? Edit: Oh, silly me, I forgot the Tunnel Transport and the other hover vehicle included in the same set! They're just flying vehicles (the Tunnel Transport can carry vehicles and such, the other is just a small one-man craft), both without any mining-specific functions, so shouldn't you be directing your disgust to things like them instead of PeabodySam's vehicle, which actually does have the ability to cut through rock and such? Why would it even be a problem in the first place?

You listed a bunch of minifigure accessories. What do those have to do with the vehicles being discussed? And again, you're spewing complete nonsense about "fake" Rock Monsters and a vehicle that supposedly "dosn't have anything to do with mining" (*doesn't), all while completely ignoring the hard work PeabodySam put into this model, the creativity behind it, and everything else good about it. You have provided absolutely no useful feedback of any kind, and yet again, only aggravated the community even more with your cruddy posts. You can't stand people giving you helpful and accurate feedback on your creations, yet you have the audacity to blindly bash somebody else's hard work with completely nonsensical points, then make even more nonsensical arguments when the lack of logic in your posting is pointed out? No. Just no. Good day sir.

I'll think you'll find he actually is making a typo, and meant to say "Hello". Otherwise, if he was saying "Hell", that would constitute as flaming, and I would have to report him for that. And if I reported him, he would get another strike to his possibly numerous strike list. And if gets enough strikes, he's outta here! So, he said "Hello to you, sir." Unless he'd like to continue this pitiful little argument? And frankly, I'm not shooting it down. Please look at his work in the "The Unexpected Agent" topic. My critic is as valid as it'll ever be. EDIT: I was out of line to say the last thing, but the top part remains valid, and I still hold the opinion that he has no right to discount jamesster's critic when he is relatively out of his depth.

8th Console Generation - Wii U vs. Playstation 4 vs. Xbox One

Specs are a terrible reason to lean toward a certain console, especially considering what some of the results have been from companies who brag about how high-tech their systems are. And hilariously, the PS2 and the Wii were the lowest spec consoles of their generations, and guess which ones won the race in each? Not saying low specs are a good thing by any means, but it sort of irritates me when people gush all about a system's specs and act like it will be the sole reason it will win the generation. It's the same reason it bugs me and many others when all someone can do is gush about how great the graphics are in a game. Without going into a complete bias, here's my two cents on the whole situation... Xbox One -- It's somewhat early to jump to conclusions right now considering we still have a whole lineup of games that are yet to be revealed, but I still am hating the whole concept of the anti-used games thing (which still may be a rumor, as they've been pretty unclear on the whole situation so far) and requiring online connection. Also, I really don't get where they're coming from on trying to market this as an all-in-one multimedia center. If you want to make something like that, that's fine, but when we've been trained for a decade now to connect the name "Xbox" to "video game console", what makes you believe people looking for such a utility will think to buy it? It's like trying to make a desktop operating system look like something that belongs on a portable...OH WAIT. That said, we still could potentially see a killer app fly by, though we have to wait until E3 to know for sure. PlayStation 4 -- I feel like the system has a lot of potential...or perhaps too much of it. I'll admit, some of the features did get me interested, especially streaming games and whatnot. It was also pretty relieving to find out they weren't going through with that used game policy after all. But on the other hand, I feel like they didn't learn from their mistake in the last generation -- the specs were so insanely high that we ended up with a ludicrously high price tag, which gave it a really rocky start. And from what I hear, their other mistakes have actually made them lose profits from the PS1 and 2 eras, which isn't something that can be easily overlooked. That's what makes me worry about this; the specs are amazingly high, but they almost feel so high that the price tag is going to shoot through the roof again. Wii U -- You might think from what I have said in the past that I think this system will be a complete success, in that case you'd be wrong. I am a Nintendo type of guy, but I think they made a pretty bad mistake of making that controller too costly -- Nintendo has been able to survive some tough times mainly because they profit off of every console sold, whereas other companies have to sell off some games before they make an official profit (hence why uber specs aren't always a good thing). The Wii U is an exception though, and apparently it's a pretty big loss per console at that. Not to mention its sales have been lukewarm at best lately, so I don't believe it's going to be an easy generation for Nintendo. A lot of people pass this system off as gimmicky, and yes, it is. But so were Rumble Paks, and now that's basically a standard thing built into every controller. All in all, I don't have hopes on the system being a huge success, but I don't entirely think it's going to kill them either, especially considering they've survived things like the Virtual Boy before. In the very end, I'm still a PC guy, but that's my whole opinion on the overall "war" if you will.

... the hell? It has everything to do with mining. And may I also point out these official vehicles, which actually have less to do with "mining" than this model? And you said nothing in regards to his actual building skill. What a heck of a post.

Ben, I'm not sure whether or not you realize it but your oft sarcastic and terse replies are beginning to rub a lot of people the wrong way. If you genuninely would like feedback, then you need to be amicable in your communications with others. They are, after all, taking time out of their day to respond. If you can't, you will simply alienate yourself from the community.
