These look familiar

Nothing personal, but this idea (RRU member faces in LR) starts to loose originality, but as long as it pleases members I'll continue. The Island hacker, the reporting Studz and the Python-addicted contributor are present now.2 points -

Tamed Rock Monster
Lair reacted to alan for a topic
On a request of le717 and because it sounded fun I made a Rock Monster, a Tamed Rock Monster Features: - custom icons - listed in the menu "small vehicles" - can clear rubble, with a suiting animation! - first person/second person view camera works - the stand animation of Rock Monsters were statue-like, so I used a different one. It was the best suiting animation I could find! - driver invisible because there aren't any animations for a Rock Raider riding a rock monster - fixed a bug that you can see the inside of the head in first person view (see video for bug) DOWNLOAD Installation instructions: Put the folder "DrivingMonster" into DataVehicles (DATA method) or into LegoRR0Vehicles (WAD method). Add the lines as explained in the enclosed cfg file. You can find your own Lego.cfg either in Data (Data method) or in LegoRR1 (WAD method). For WAD method users: Don't forget to recompile all the stuff (LegoRR0 and LegoRR1). Here's a video:1 point -

Training Cave
Cyrem reacted to alan for a topic
A new map, upload requested: Training Cave Back Story: There is no. This is a cave where you easily can train your Rock Raiders how to drive, fly, sail, kill theirselves and so on. All necessary buildings are already constructed, combined with a (in my view) well suiting heightmap design (I know it looks artifical, but it is supposed to be like this! The Rock Raiders made the cave look like this for training!). Map Objective: None. When you're ready, kill the tool store. Difficulty: n/a Installation instructions: Do it just like the other levels. The rest is explained in the enclosed cfg. DOWNLOAD1 point -

Nah. I like the roof. As distracting as excess studs can be sometimes, I don't mind them here, and I think trying to cover them all up would hurt the look.1 point -

New version of ROCK RAIDERS - update
Fush reacted to TheDoctor for a topic
This is mostly due to the fact that Toady has never optimized the code and that it remains to this day single threaded. Regarding the Wii, while you'd have a very large installed userbase, the WiiU might be a better idea. It may not have as many installed users, but you can do so much more with the game. The Wii has a disappointing hardware resume. The WiiU tablet would be perfect for something like this. Just something to consider.1 point -

Does anyone still play this? (My LEGO Network)
aidenpons reacted to Alcom Isst for a topic
I got up to rank 7. MLN shouldn't count as a social networking site. The only way you can communicate to others through it is by soulless preset messages. It's closer to a puzzle and teamwork game, where you gather resources through various ways from NPC users and secret NPC users. Like a social networking site, you have your own page, on which you can place modules. Modules can receive clicks from other players. Advanced modules you gain later on allow you to gain specific resources per day, and/or resources per clicks. Clicks are limited though, as each user only gets a specific number of clicks per day. Users have 20+8*rank clicks to spend each day, that accumulate evenly across the day. Rank is determined by the number of masterpieces you have made. Masterpieces are made from gaining a masterpiece blueprint, and gathering the resources the blueprint states. Each rank, from 0-9, has a masterpiece to go to the next rank, so there are ranks 0-10. Rank is the primarily a status symbol in MLN. Each rank has its own NPCs that will only friend you at that rank. By friending an NPC, you can trade with it on its page, or send it mail for hints or items. There are a wide variety of resources in MLN. The most basic are bricks. You start off with red bricks, but eventually have to deal with blue, yellow, green, purple, orange, black, white, grey, and clear bricks as you advanced in rank. You also have to gather an odd variety of items to complete blueprints for masterpieces, modules, or items. Items or resources are also required to click on specific advanced modules. Modules give you plenty of options of how to set up your page. Your page is a 3x4 area, and modules take up either a 1x1, 1x2, or 1x3 space. The main goal of MLN is to get each rank and masterpiece. You can also attempt to friend secret NPCs, or side plots that don't deal with rank, such as the Bionicle Plot. The higher you go, the more complex it gets, and the more teamwork you need. By rank 5 I needed to make a bot to continue, as I was forever alone. Also, I seem to have gotten carried away with this post. I would be interested in working with a team to get to rank 10.1 point
