I always loved the big band music style of Lego Island and one of my favorites is the race soundtrack (while driving the race). I loved the bass line of this song and so I grabbed a keyboard (the instrument) and slowed down the music to 50% of normal speed. Even with a keyboard on the desk and a slowed down version of this soundtrack it was really a pain to find out all these bass lines due to the song's bad quality and other instruments disturbing the clear sound of the bass. It still took me 2 and a half men hours to extract the bass lines of this 3-minute song and another 90 minutes to write down as tab. The Lego Island Racetrack music is one of my favorite tracks in the game, and I thought I'd record my (short) interpretation on the piece, so here it is. Music was composed by Peter Dunne. I played and recorded the backing (Rhythm Guitar, Bass and Drums) off camera. Sorry for the sloppy playing at times, it was slightly rushed, but hey, I think this must be the first time someone's done this for Lego game music? If anyone wants the chord progression;

Please note: I just wanted to recreate something I seen in an anime, and this was what I decided upon. It took me three days to build this. This model is based off of Mecha-Wooser, from the anime Wooser's Hand to Mouth Life.

I'm also concerned about the "Rock Raider 2: Block Raiders" name. It might be better to have an original game with some elements based on LRR -- a spiritual sequel, if you want to call it that. Less legal issues, more flexibility. I might be bold in saying that it has seemed a bit odd for a CEO to be doing what some would expect a community relations manager or PR rep to do. Maybe this has already been answered. Admittedly, it has been a bit hard keeping up with this since we are seeing posts about Block Raiders outside of RRU (sans the FB page), and there are a few topics here already.
