Unused Arena

Replaced the WRL for the Array course with ARENA.WRL and launched the game with menus disabled in the config and AI raced enabled. Seems to be an early version of a GameCube battle arena.5 points -

FZ-7 Security Tank
Jimbob and one other reacted to alan for a topic
FZ-7 Security Tank Number of bricks: 1353 Time it took to build + concept: 2 days Thanks to JimbobJeffers for the inspiration to this car. Source here The FZ-7 Security Tank is not made for attack. It is used to transport VIPs or very valuable goods that are really expensive. All this is protected in the cabin in the center of the car, surrounded by tons of steel and concrete. Additionally the front is formed in a special way so that even barricades, walls, houses, rocks and so on can be broken through. The front is also the entrance to the cabin: The two front parts act as some kind of doors that can only be opened when the holder (center in the front, folding upwards when opened) is out of the way. The driver does not have to see the street manually because first there are cameras all around the vehicle and second if the driver misses anything that is in the way, the car will be definitely less damaged than the missed thing. The driver sits at the side next to the cabin. He has got an own entrance which also good enough protected. He and the cabin are separated by a special kind of glass that absorbs any projectiles or explosions. Because this vehicle weighs alot it is powered by three strong helicopter engines that bring the car up to 100mph (which is very much for such a monster). The spoiler at the back keeps the giant on the ground even if you are driving down a hill. The front has two more extras: both sides have hinged lights that are used in the night (or to take scary pictures of it in the darkness) and - if you open these parts completely - there are two lasers on each side that can pre-damage stuff the vehicle is heading for. But that feature is only used in really critical situations! Enough of the description, here are the pictures: 6. side view (right) 7. front-right view 8. front view 9. the hinges for the opening of the front doors 10. wheels, side armoring and driver's door I hope you like it, ... please give some feedback2 points -

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_Y3K8gyYes Because why not? P.S. I love how the youtube url says "Yes". I will provide a download later when I finish the rest of the worlds. I might also make a 'lowered' version for those people that still want some sort of boundary but want to go deeper in the water. Btw, this was edited in the WRL file, so I will probably add info about it later on in there.1 point -
Mafia: The Game

Who said the Doctor died? He's undergone 12 incarnations already. Who knows, the Mafia could be the presumed-dead doctor. O.T. Sorry, couldn't resist. Now back to The Game.1 point -

Adult-Sized LEGO Watches Return
eagleeyedan reacted to STUDZ for a topic
For those who are still a little old-fashioned and still wear watches (Myself included), you're in luck: Bricklink and The Brick Fan have reported that LEGO is going to release a series of official LEGO watches aimed at AFOLs. Dubbed the "LEGO Watch System", 25 different watches are planned and, much like the more commonplace children's models, you can customize everything from the band to the bezels. All sorts of colors and designs are in the pipeline, so if you like watches (and why wouldn't you?), be sure to keep an eye on this. They will be out by November, just in time for Christmas with a price range from $85-$185 (So these aren't just bigger watches; they're made from quality materials). For more images, click the latter link in the Sources! Sources: http://www.brickset.com/news/article/?ID=7841 http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-watch-system-revealed/1 point -

Would recommend changing the text color. White might do the trick. Very hard to read the sharp font in that color against black background.1 point -

LI2 BOD/BOB Extractor v1.0
Fifi La Fume reacted to legomoe for a topic
I forget who it was, but someone on the forum was wishing that they had a tool that could extract all the LEGO Island 2 .bod/.bob archives at once. Well, here it is: Mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/file/dvqsgbb9858e8ue/LI2_Extracter_v1.0.zip RRU Files Database: https://www.rockraidersunited.com/files/dl-r436/ Just extract the .exe to the '_data' folder in your LEGO Island 2 install directory. You'll need to run it from a terminal though. To extract all the .bod/.bob files, run it with the command line argument '-all'. Example: "LI2Extractor.exe -all" It can also extract individual .bod/.bob archives, just enter the .bod file as the command line argument and it will automatically open and extract the corresponding .bob file on its own. By the way, I think that when you extract a .bod/.bob archive into the game's '_data' folder, the game should read those files, instead of using the archive, otherwise this tool would e ind of pointless without something to rebuild all the archives. I might still end up releasing a tool for rebuilding all the archives, I'll just have to see If I can get around to it... Legomoe1 point -
