Ok. The roles have been sent out, and I guess this begins the next round. Story: The year is 3245. Space has been seized by the Human Race. Multiple colonies have spread to the outer edge of the Galaxy. But what will be, will never change what once was. The Great War of 2996. World leaders of Earth found conflict. They tried to divide the Galaxy equally, and let each nation colonize their own section of Space. However, two nations demanded more control after an equalization agreement was already met. After being refused more control by the other nations, the two nations declared war. Starships and Frigates clashed in an explosion of weapon’s fire. Shrapnel filled the emptiness of Space. Severe casualties had occurred every hour on both sides. Suddenly, the warring vessels stopped. Everyone had realized what they had done by battling so close to Earth. The scraps of metal and chunks of ships had caught in Earth’s orbit. They rained down across the sky, pulverizing the surface. They tried together to destroy as much debris as they could. But then, the nations witnessed something truly horrific. A partially destroyed Nuclear “War Hammer†Frigate had entered Earth’s Atmosphere. The Frigate was equipped with a “Star Breaker†Grade A-60 Omega-Nuclear Missile. This was a weapon of last resort that would have obliterated both sides in a heartbeat. They watched as the flaming hull smashed into the ground. Then a burst of light, as bright as the Sun, engulfed the planet. A shockwave flowed across Earth, leaving nothing untouched. The explosion had vaporized the Atmosphere, allowing the Sun to finish the job. When everything had calmed, Earth was nothing more than a smoldering chunk of rock. The warring nations divided silently, and went on their separate ways to colonize their sections of the Galaxy, leaving Earth behind as a cold reminder. Present day. August 15, 3245. The Milky Way has neared its capacity. Humans have populated nearly every corner of it, and have run out of suitable planets. Now, Humans turn towards the Andromeda. A military Cruiser sets off for the Galaxy. Aboard is a group of Researchers, all with military experience, which have come along to test planets for sustainable properties. The Researchers enter and introduce each other. Game Start You can now RP and introduce yourselves.

I was honestly quite indifferent about the film at first, but I have since turned around and am now looking forward to it excitedly. I love the perspective they are approaching it with - where the nature of the world as a universe of LEGO bricks is not only acknowledged but embraced. It is quite different from other themes, like Chima, Ninjago, and even earlier ones like Orient Expedition, where the ties to LEGO could be removed without damaging the story. What we've seen of the movie so far reminds me a lot of LEGO's US marketing in the 1990s (with MANIA Magazine and the like), something I am definitely appreciating, as the products of that time have always been some of my favorite examples of LEGO media. Did anyone else note the sign over the highway in the main trailer? Among the locations listed are City Center (which admittedly may just be a coincidence), Paradisa, Heartlake City, and Century Skyway.
