Hi community, I just finished my quick WAD manipulator implemented in node.js. It's both a binary for extracting and creating archives and a library for doing the same (and more) from node.js. https://github.com/LinusU/node-wad Usage is (I think, if not shout at me and I will fix) very easy and straight forward. I've based my implementation on this wikipage (http://www.rockraidersunited.org/wiki/index.php?title=.WAD_file) and haven't tested it too much yet, please report any bugs you might find. The main reason for writing this was for a really cool Rock Raiders project soon to be announced here in the forums, stay tuned. ps. It's 04:30 here and I'm dead tired. I'd be very surprised if it doesn't contain any bugs at the moment, please cut me some slack pps. Also, it's fully open source and licensed under the MIT License, go nuts!

I haven't finished translating everything yet, but he introduces himself as IXVIZIKIL, the ruler of the Star People. Interestingly, Tim and Count Batlord seem to initially assume he is just an emissary from the actual Star People.

Thank you all for the nice compliments:) Some advices when you want to build a modular space ship: Build the space ship in components (which you can connect together) very regular test if the components correctly fit together Make sure every component can be used in other modular combinations of the ship (no components remain)

I have managed to add pink, but it messed up other things in the process... I did this by modifying the following files in MENUDATAPIECEDB LPIECEHI.MDB, L_COLORS.LEB and CR_CSET.LEB You might be able to figure out what I did from looking at those files.
