What you like about Lego Rock Raiders?

My favourite part is the AI. In all seriousness though, I particularly love the fact that the game is highly moddable thanks to this community.

    Brighter Chill Chassis

lol Anti Aliasing I applied the unused "CHASSIDES.MIP" to Chill's chassis in Gimp 2.8.2 and recolored other sections where necessary to match, and finally, hex edited his MD2 model to refer to COL_BLUE.TGA instead of GEAR_PIN.TGA. So this is pretty much because no one else has done it. https://ore.rockraidersunited.org/legacy/Fixed%20Chill%20Chassis_966695.zip To all you Freeze & Chill owners: You're welcome.

    Unique Music Everywhere Mod

Ever gotten tired of hearing the main menu playing in every place you go that isn't a race? Or maybe you've gotten tired of hearing the same song for 4/5th of the races in a world and in battle, or perhaps even the same bonus music for every world? If any of these match your case, then this mod is for you! Pros: Unique music everywhere. Cons: Music will be in Mono (doesn't sound as good as Stereo), and the in-game volume control is with sfx not music. Installation: There are 2 ways to install this mod. It all depends on how difficult you want to make your life. 1) Beginner: Download away! [Part 1 | Part 2] Place everything except the "moosic folder" (this is folder is for expert mode and is not a requirement) 2) Expert: Perhaps you only want this mod to be effective in specific parts of the game and not everywhere? Or you want to merge it with another modified WRL? Then manually install it yourself edition is for you! 1. In your Hex editor of choice, open up the WRL and corresponding file for the world. 2. Before or after the beginning of a section (sections start with OBMGcType) insert the data into the WRL. Additional Info: I find that this mod works out better if you lower all engine sound files by 5 or so dB. Otherwise they will be too noisy and just cover up the music. The included music files mute all songs in the game, because even at the lowest volume in the game settings, the music is not mute. The custom music is located under GAME DATA/SOUNDS/MUSIC/WORLDNAME/SONGNAME, they are all blank because I do not own the rights to any music. You can make your own using this tutorial by le717 (yes sfx is correct).

    Adventures Of Bill

Adventures of Bill Since 2007 Here's everyone's favorite slowest updating comic series! These comics, which I made for fun, focus on Bill, a mild mannered fireman who is secretly an undercover secret agent for the Rebel Alliance. He is disguised as an Imperial Officer aboard the Death Star. Instead of drawing this comic or using a kit or sprite set, I decided to use real pictures that I took with my digital camera. I then edited them into a comic using some free software (The GIMP). I have them in two sizes: Small and Full, depending on if you're on a mobile device vs. a desktop computer. Please leave any questions, comments, (or criticism) below! Comic #1 - "Bill's Introduction" - ">Full - ">Small Comic #2 - "The Meeting" - ">Full - ">Small Comic #3 - "Delivery Dispute" - ">Full - ">Small Comic #4 - "Busy, Busy" - ">Full - ">Small Comic #5 - "Rock Raiders" - ">Full - ">Small Comic #6 - "The Path to Power" - ">Full - Small Comic #7 - "Card Trouble" - Full - Small Comic #8 - "Stormtrooper Training" - Full - Small Comic #9 - "Swept Away" - Full - Small Comic #10 - "Sparks on the Run" - Full - Small **NEW COMICS** Comic #11 - "Sparks Escapes" - ">Full - Small Comic #12 - "Risky Recharge" - ">Full - ">Small Brickshelf Gallery (when approved) Alaska Works - Main Website with Comics NOTE: You don't *have* to read them in order, but they do make a little more sense when read as a whole, particularly starting with comic #5.

    Adventures Of Bill

I apologize in advance for dredging up a 2 year old topic, but... I've created 2 new comics in the "Adventures of Bill"--the slowest updating comic series you've ever seen (since 2007)! They both have a Rock Raiders tie-in. Again, it's a continuation of the Rock Raiders story arc started in Comics 5 and 6. **NEW COMICS** Comic #11 - "Sparks Escapes" - " title="External link">Full - Small Comic #12 - "Risky Recharge" - " title="External link">Full - " title="External link">Small Enjoy!

What you like about Lego Rock Raiders?

My favourite part is building large bases and solving the many problems the level will throw at you. I still remember The Gaunlet (can't rmb the full name) mission, was running and looking around like crazy during that. Ahhhh and the AI, I love and hate them. In one of the missions, a group of bats had surrounded one of my Rock Raider that was attempting to carry a EC back to base. Since the bats wouldn't leave him alone, he kept dropping the EC, running away, going back to pick up the EC, dropping the EC and running away over and over again... In the end I just teleported him out

    Lego Time Cruisers comics

Next Time Cruisers comic: Page 1 Page 2 Page 3 Page 4 I've noticed a few things sort of similar to this as I've been translating, but this particular example seems to be rather telling. The second part of the chief's speech bubble is empty. Is it possible these comics originally produced in another language, that included additional text in this panel? And if so, where would they have been published?

    Lego Time Cruisers comics

Just read of few your translations, Tazakk. Seems pretty accurate so far but you made one little mistake: 'Schwarzer Adlers Stamm' was not meant to be 'The Black Eagle Tribe' but the 'Tribe of Chief Black Eagle' instead. I'm sure the Timecruisers comic will make that more clear. Btw the character was called 'Chief Rattle Snake' in the UK catalogue. Issue 5 is uploaded, sorry for the delay: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

Beginners Guide To Modding Rock Raiders

Getting Started: Environment ( Contents / Previous / Next ) Preparation Now that you know what you can do and have downloaded the required tools; it is time to start preparing a modding environment. Setting up the mod environment is required because if you don't you could easily forget the mods you have made and could wind up with a game that won't start and you won't know why. So please take the time to setup the environment. The first thing you will need to do is make a backup of the LEGO Rock Raiders game directory. This is very important so we can keep our modded game separate from the original. If you have installed to the default installation directory you can find the folder in C:\Program Files\LEGO Media\Games\Rock Raiders . If you can't find the folder there try doing a search for LegoRR.exe and that should lead you to the correct folder. Next, copy the whole Rock Raiders folder and paste it in the same place. This will create a copy of that folder. Rename the folder to Rock Raiders (Modded) or any other name you please. Next up, we will create a shortcut the will unlock all the game levels. The point of this is so that when you are modding you can test you mods on different levels without having to unlock them. We are going to create this shortcut in your Rock Raiders (Modded) folder, so go into there. Now, single click on LegoRR.exe so that it is highlighted then press (ALT) and drag and drop the file in the same folder. This will create a shortcut to that file. Rename the shortcut to LegoRR - Levels Unlocked. After that, right click on the shortcut and choose 'Properties' from the menu that appears. In the "Target" text field on the "Shortcut" tab you will see a path to LegoRR.exe with quotes around it. After the closing quote type in: -testlevels (Don't put quotes around this part.) and click "Ok" to close the dialogue. To test that you did this correctly, run the game from that shortcut and the game levels should all be unlocked.

Rock Raiders Dont Work :( Because Of D3Drm.dll

DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING! i had the same problem... windows 7 doenst matter, youre missing a file and its on the CD IF YOU DOWNLOADED ANYTHING, DELETE IT! it could be a trojan horse or any other kind of virus, besides you have to know where to put it anyway... shame on you rockraider pascal 1.) look in your CD drive under \DirectX6\DirectX6\Directx you should see D3DRM.DLL about 6 icons down 2.) right click, copy the file, and paste it in your LRR directory... directly on the main folder. 3.) try running the game my LRR file is in C:\Program Files (x86)\LEGO Media\Rock Raiders yours may be different... i cons look like this. Data Registration CLGen CLGen d3drm.dll LegoRR and so on... i was stuck for quite some time by just downloading it to my drive, but it has to be in the LRR folder to work properly just for good measure i have my compatiblity settings set to Compatibility mode: Vista, Disable visual themes, Disable Desktop composition, and Disable scaling on high DPI settings, with privilege level set to admin. dont know if the last bit acctually helps but i run all my old games like that... anywho, hope this helps you get to play the game. Also not to shoot you down but i tried this also... it didnt help and i gave up on the game for quite some time... i randomly had a brain fart to put it in the LRR directory and it worked like a charm... it may be different for some though, but what i posted previously was the fix for windows 7 ah! on one more thing... setting it to run in 256 colours, 640x480 doesnt work, it will just make it look like poo... yeah im calling you out too Cyrem... PS: i had the same problem with Submarine Titans, this fix worked for that d3drm.dll error too :D
