Ever since I discovered my own copy of LEGO Island (>recounted here,) I wanted to build my own, tangible, Information Center. I started in LEGO Digital Designer with the "i" logo on the floor, continued with the Big blue Brick Book, and the big "i" in front of my desk. Brick by brick, tock by tick I began to construct the model in reality, from flowers to cups and red to blue to the elevator, to oh my yes, your score cube; Whoops, I forgot the radio! There's still so much to do, things like racing and jet-skiing getting a few parts in the right colors, building up the walls, and obstructing that ugly framework. And thou the fourth age of middle earth began an era ended. One of the many occurrences during this wonderous age was the sudden appearance of the ruler JamesBrick, who founded several HQs cities dedicated to the development of very specific industries to improve the nation's economy. Sadly he disappeared after a devastating event, which the historians called the "Big Crap of spring 2014". Some theories say, that the king had some anger issues, which lead in combination with numerous revolts due to his revolutionary policies to the end of his short reign. Other theories are based on the notion, that the sewage system of the kingdom was disfunctional due to low maintenance. Nonetheless the citizens of this land remembered their beloved and glorious leader and raised him to the status of a god. Therefore they built several temples in his name, which tourists can visit for a nominal fee to the present day. P.S.: Sorry for that. It was just too tempting.

Ok I admit it I'm a complete nutjob for Classic LEGO Space stuff, such as Blacktron. And because of that love, i decided to do one thing; reboot the good ol' classic space. That was total plant. The rest of the conversation was about a girl at college who knows mom and dad and knew my grandfather and how her mom with to high school with mine. Yeah, it's probably because of the accent, as I can tell from the new attempt that the pauses I'm hearing are much more natural. I think there's a strange pause between "much" and "harder to beat". That sounds a bit weird to me.

Pauses? Can you elaborate on this. I don't notice any in the first recording. In my experience, my tendency is to not pause enough. I see (or should I say "hear"? ) that the second one has something of an awkward pause between "challenge" and "Sam Sanister," but this is due to my somewhat awkward attempt at a German accent, and, as I said before, it was meant for Slyboots. For some reason, both Slyboots and Sam Sanister have the same line, so XIron has, understandably, mixed up my two attempts at it. I'll try to remedy the microphone situation, though working with a built-in laptop microphone is far from ideal. Also, I like Kajeuter's attempt at Workman Fred best, though I think it lacks proper emotion. It sounds as if he is just reading from a script. I would like to see him and Ben redo that line with some proper emotion.

I think kajeuter's voice fits well with all the characters. A bit high pitched, always pretty jolly, perfect for a LEGO game. Quisoves, I think your attempts would work better if you didn't put all those pauses in your lines. Also, you seem to either stand too close to the microphone (probably not) or speak too loudly while being too close to the mic (probably yes).

I'm going to be honest with you, my name was already on Jay before you wrote that, though I did remove it after your request due to that being the single one line you chose to do. But then I just thought, why should that stop me? I'll take a stab at it anyway.The reason I choose Jay myself, was because aside from pants colour, he looks just like the me minifigure. My dream set

The Totally-Not-Eris figure looks like a LEGO Friends mini-doll, Chima character, and anime character rolled into one hunk of plastic. Also, the wheels on the model on the back of the Italian Wannabe's box are pointing in two different directions. I'd love to see how that would work.

Yay, more reviews about cheap LEGO Ripoffs. I think, that the way, how the set was packaged, was one of the best parts. According to this link: http://www.x-rates.com/calculator/?from=PHP&to=USD&amount=40 39.75 PHP are ~0.92USD. Wow, this set is really expensive (because you get low-quality bricks), but at least you can change flowers. Hmm, wait a minute... ...the set on the cover and the set in the box actually have the SAME COLORS! What a rarity for ripoffs (maybe times have slightly changed)! P.S.: Have you thought about building or buying a tripod for your smartphone? That should make reviewing things easier (two hands versus one hand). edit [15-May-2014]: The price for the Ninja set is ~2,29USD (99.75PHP). Still way too much for a bad set with a weird smell (Next mission: find out, how the set got its smell). That's like actually buying real crap . Another (not serious) idea: We should give you money to buy and review all the weird sets out there in world and instead of a parts per USD, PHP etc. ratio you should do a smell/crap/whatever per USD/PHP etc. ratio.

Just because they aren't free, doesn't mean you can't take a go at a character. People have taken multiple characters, and who knows, maybe someone will like your voice better for a character than someone who already took the spot. I don't think it is exactly the best fit voice either, but it is the best we have so far. One other voice I'm on the fence with is Ben24x7's Workman Fred. Sounds a bit too... young. (Likely because Ben is only 13 years old). By the way guys, I updated the file format specification. .AIF is no longer on the list (partially because people don't do it right, and also because I can't check bitrate that way).

We take from Johny Cashes "Folsom Prison Blues" and get after 35 translations. About ninth translation we get this *cough* gem, that somehow manages to be more disturbing than shooting a man just to watch him die. So not only is he shooting the guy, he is somehow watching him die of a cocaine OD at the same time. Wow. BadTranslator, you are seriously messed up.
