Update: So since the kickstarter didn't kick off, everybody's going to find jobs elsewhere and we're going to have much less time to work on the game. However, we're not stopping here. We're going to continue releasing free alphas on a bimonthly basis for now. Please tell your friends about Barony and have them check it out Oh, we've also got forums now: http://www.baronygame.com/forums/index.php Not what we're used to here on RRU, but they're forums nonetheless. Feel free to sign up and liven the place up Thanks for all your support and feedback thus far, guys! - Addictgamer -------- Also, I've sent out PMs to everybody I remember offering to help out on the graphical side of the game. If you're a texturer/pixel artist and interested in contributing, please fire me a PM and we'll talk from there. Oh, and if you have any prior work or samples you could show, I'd appreciate that.3 points -

Doctor Who in Minecraft - WhoCraft - 128x128 Resource Pack
MisterGryphon reacted to Bug for a topic
WhoCraft (Also known as WhoPack) is a Minecraft Resource Pack that I'm developing. It is based on the popular television series Doctor Who. Here is a glimpse of my TARDIS map, sampling various newly-textured elements. There will not be a full release until every obtainable block and item has been textured. That being said, I plan on having a stage of closed beta soon. Currently Textured Mobs: Update Log:1 point -

The LEGO Ninjago Movie
Quisoves Potoo reacted to le717 for a topic
Meanwhile, the news media says the Ninjago movie is a "spin off" from TLM despite having no citation to back up that claim and the offical press release not saying such (thankfully, they have not picked up this teaser trailer). Just because WB produced the amazing movie known as The LEGO Movie, some of the directors of TLM are working on this, and the fact they do mention the success of TLM does not mean Ninjago is a spinoff. Some may say this teaser is proof it is, but it really isn't. Both TLM and Ninjago is, well, LEGO, and what better way to announce your upcoming LEGO-themed film than by advertising it alongside your still-popular previous LEGO-themed film? I've read that press release multiple times. I see nothing that would suggest Ninjago is a TLM spinoff. What I do see is WB capitalizing on The LEGO Movie's success by officially announcing a new LEGO movie that has some of the same people who worked on TLM working on this (yes, I know we knew about this last year. I've taken that into account). Just like the Apple rumors, one fire feeds another until it has grown into this. I recall seeing articles around TLM's release saying one thing that, when traced back to the source, said nothing of the sort. *sigh* EDIT: I just noticed the Dan and Kevin Hageman (writers of the TV show) are not listed in the press release. Interesting...1 point -

Ninjago is like a buffalo that was shot with arrows and is still dragging along west. It's made it to Denver already amazingly, but really, just let the poor thing die. It should have died years ago. Heck, people speculate that it actually did die after three years and has been raised from the grave by some heinous to continue as a undead cash-not-cow-but-similar-enough.1 point -

Doctor Who in Minecraft - WhoCraft - 128x128 Resource Pack
MisterGryphon reacted to Bug for a topic
They're both Snow Golems because the model fits them nicely, despite being so diverse. The mob doesn't make any sounds, so it isn't a huge deal to have multiple unrelated skins. Note that this only works with Random Mobs enabled on MCPatcher, otherwise they'll all be Daleks. As for Weeping Angels, I have no idea what to make them out of. I'm thinking about adding support for the Weeping Angels mod since I'm running out of hostile mobs to use. Unfortunately not. I feel out of place because of that, but I'll get over it.1 point -

I can't believe that no-one has posted this here yet, but this has to be one of the best brickfilms out there. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hmb0qVSd2rY EDIT: I forgot to mention, the next Henri & Edmond episode, Plastic Love, is currently being crowdfunded over on Ulule (its a European version of Kickstarter). Check out the project page here! Oh, and here's their campaign video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azsNKIhRii01 point
