What life is like being an anime/pokemon fan in Texas...
Starrocks923 and 5 others reacted to McJobless for a topic
Well, in Australia, a lot of people think Games are Stupid. You can get harassed for it, and more, I secretly love Games, but I'm moderate with everything else. Many think Games are for people who have low IQ to play, but that is wrong, as I have a high IQ, and I was taught things by playing and watching Games. Remember that when you're in Australia, don't go to the East or West if you want to share Games, go to America, or Canada to do it with others, those are some countries that like it a bit.6 points -
Chips: the next generation...
Quisoves Potoo and 3 others reacted to Ayliffe for a blog entry
So, if you didn't know I went to Legoland Windsor on tuesday, and I generally had a good time, but when we tried to order some ordinary chippy chips from a small cafe, this is what we recieved: Yeah, we got a thing called "Lego fries". I was not expecting this at all. Really, I was expecting some nice, ordinary chippy chips to arrive on my table for me to devour/eat. But no, we got these things. They were so hillariously stupid that I had to create a comic about them, and thats what I did. Enjoy! P.S: I also made another version of the main picture with Doge, which you can see in the spoiler tags below: Yeah, it's pretty random :P4 points -
What life is like being an anime/pokemon fan in Texas...

Greetings from Texas. My (former) neighbors butchered a goat in their back yard. There is a donut shop on every corner. The local barber shop is filled with taxidermied animals, and the barbers have far more hair on their chins than they do their scalps. There are fire ants everywhere outside. Have you remembered the Alamo today?4 points -

Hello there Samhamnam, welcome to RRU, where we sell $20 cookies which taste like cookies stolen from your local grocery store. I'm sorry, but for some reason I'm getting tired of seeing that exact same censored phrase in every welcome topic.3 points -

The Ace Railgun and one other reacted to Quisoves Potoo for a topic
Methinks your sentiments and musings concerning the state of Anime appreciators in Texas might be better served as a blog post. A blog post is, it seems to me, used on Rock Raiders United as something akin to a lecture: A presentation, of an experience, knowledge, or idea. Discussion of the subject is secondary to the subject itself. A regular post here, on the other hand, is closer to a seminar: A question exists to be answered or an issue to be discussed, and the participation of the community is the very reason that the topic exists. All of which is my typically long-winded way of saying that if you don't want your thoughts on Anime to be noticed primarily by how out-of-place they seem in the order of things, start yourself a blog here. That said, I think that you really ought to expand your post, as in its current state it leaves me rather nonplussed. What you're saying is clear, just not why you're saying it.2 points -

In my opinion, you're overthinking a bit too much over this wonderful creation of the minifig human mind. They look like LEGO bricks. They are tasty. There's nothing wrong with those.2 points -

This is also for my latest blog post, but this is a bit more...random. If you truly have no idea what this is about, then clicky here. My sanity is questionable sometimes... :P2 points -

All bricks/chassis, all the time
JohnnyBricks reacted to lol username for a topic
A really simple but very useful mod that gives you access to every car chassis and piece in the builder at any given time (even ones you can't normally use): In GAME DATA/OBJECTS/BRICKS, there's a file called UNIQUEBRICKS.TXT, which contains "All the bricks that can go in the game ever". Now, see UNIQUEBRICKSGENERIC.TXT? It lists "The generic bricks - available in all worlds". Simply overwrite it with a copy of UNIQUEBRICKS.TXT, and boom, every chassis and piece is accessible everywhere. Edit - There seem to be quite a few newcomers who don't know you have to unpack the game's GTC before doing any modding, so here's a link for that:1 point -

Running In Windows 7 64-Bit
LimeKiller reacted to Shadowblaze for a topic
3 year bump. Ok. I'll try to be the most polite as possible in replying to your post... If he's got Windows 7, he probably doesn't have Windows 8, and I hope you know that in 2011 there was no such thing as Windows 8. And anyway, in 3 years I hope this dude has found a solution to this problem, and if he has not, he is certainly not interested anymore in finding it. And now, please let me know why installing LRR on Windows 8 should fix the problem. From the information we gathered in this community, it appears to cause even more problems than his younger brother. So, the moral of the story is: INFORM YOURELF/READ BEFORE POSTING. And DON'T FREAKING BUMP. ...Now I completely understand how McJobless feels everytime someone bumps a dead topic. I am really sorry to rage at you, but this stuff makes me mad.1 point -
The Important Stuff in LR2
Shadowblaze reacted to Fluffy Cupcake for a topic
The submerged curbs ("things that make you not lose the track") aren't an accident, they were intentionally put there. Think for a moment what all locations of found bricks have in common. Answer: What is the explaination of this you may ask? One word. Sounds. Sfx needs to be welded to an object to work in the game. Why they did it this way and required it to be binded to an object and instead used random models instead of an invisible model is beyond me though. I only know so much. The SB podium was probably put there as a precaution in case it was needed in that world at any time, because as you said, all other worlds do use it.1 point -

You need to put a disclaimer saying that you cannot be sued for accidents involving a) laughing, b) choking, and c) falling off the chair. Seriously, that was hilarious. *whistles nonchalantly*1 point -

The Culture of the LMB (A Satire)
Brigs reacted to MisterGryphon for a topic
At the end of a conversation, the speaker will typically say his name, recite a quote of personal significance, and frequently express his religious affiliation. My very favorite part of The Culture of the Elimbie is this one. Signed Gryphon, a proud homeschooled, white, straight male who loves Jesus very much. "Pbbbbt"1 point
