Evil is a Giant Robot Swivel Chair

I linked to that McDonald's cup with a canned Lord Business mech/office chair that never appeared in the final version of the LEGO Movie. It looked like a fun model so I tried my hand at constructing it digitally. Reference picture! I couldn't figure out how the two arms in the back were attached for the life of me, so I just omitted them. Someone on BZP said that 20 minutes were stripped off of the LEGO Movie to make its length more reasonable for release. given how finalized this chair design (and the render of it on the cup) is I think it is safe to assume it appeared in that lost time. Yet Another Rock Raiders Remake

Over the summer I have set myself a task, to learn how to use the Unity games engine. I'm doing this by making a mini-remake of Lego Rock Raiders. I'm doing this mainly for fun, and I'm not promising any significant outcome, but I thought I'd share my work anyway Guthub repository: github.com/eellams/RR2 VERY EARLY windows builds: here All the early builds really show is the map format - if you do download it, feel free to edit testmap.xml - any feedback would be much appreciated Images:

    BIONICLE RETURNING 2015

Literal representation of BZPower right now (stay till the end. Trust me. You'd do it for a Marvel movie): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ik49aju9fSk IN OTHER NEWS: Checking the search bar for "BIONICLE" now will lead to Hero Factory once more. Was this a mistake on LEGO's part, or a prank?

Cafeteria 1.0 BETA 7 - Launcher & Mod Loader for LRR

Cafeteria! 1.0 BETA 7 Cafeteria is a Game Launcher and Mod Loader for LEGO Rock Raiders. It allows you to play LEGO Rock Raiders mods without manual installation and also allows you to configure the various parameters of LEGO Rock Raiders/LEGO Rock Raiders Community Edition. Installation - First, download the latest version of Cafeteria at the bottom of this post. - Extract Cafeteria and all its files into the installation directory of LEGO Rock Raiders. This is usually: C:\Program Files (x86)\LEGO Media\Games\Rock Raiders - Your installation is finished. Whenever you want to play, start Cafeteria and launch the game through it instead. Requirements Most new computers already have these installed, however if you are missing one, you may get errors in the program. - .NET Framework 4.5 (Download) Installing Mods Mods come in files with the extension *.wadp. You can find mods in topics on this forum. To install a mod, simply place the WADP file inside the "Mods" directory or use the "Add Patch" button. You can confirm a mod has been installed and is valid by visiting the "Mod Manager" tab in Cafeteria where it will display. Ordering Mods Using the arrows on the interface you can move mods up and down. Mods at the end of the list are considered "low priority" and mods up the top are considered "high priority". Mods are installed in order from Low to High Priority. As some mods overlap others or must be applied after other mods, you can order them in the correct installation order. FAQ I heard this allows playing LRR in high resolutions? You did hear correctly. Old versions of Cafeteria did allow this, however this has since changed. Playing LRR in high resolution has now been moved to the Rock Raiders Community Edition project where it will be built into the game. How do I make my own Patches? Please see this topic: Patch Documentation for Cafeteria Changelog 1.0 BETA 7 Added "Addons" to Online Mod library for installing things like D3DRM. Fixed case sensitivity on CFG:Open Added Context Menu Items "Remove Patch" and "Open in File Explorer" Added "Create New Patch" under Tools. This will create a new patch with file structure under "Mods" and added it to the Mod list. 1.0 BETA 6 CFG:AddBlock will not duplicate an existing block. CFG:AddProperty will not duplicate an existing property, instead it will update an existing property. 1.0 BETA 5 Fixed encoding issues with languages other than English. 1.0 BETA 4 Renamed JMP command to CMP command Added new JMP command to simply jump to labels without compare. Added online library for mods (not much yet still adding) Mod description tooltips. Added patch log to see the last log of patch applications. Added "FileAdd" "FileRemove" "DirectoryMerge" to replace "WAD:..." equivalents. These have enhanced debugging messages. Old commands have not been removed. 1.0 BETA 3 Added variables & related commands: VAR / VAR:FromCFG / VAR:Increment / VAR:Decrement Added the ability to Jump in a script with JMP <variable> <opcode> <value> <jumplabel> Added format specified to variable output {var|D2} = 01, {var|F2} = 1.00 Added the ability to work with ANY config file, CFG, AE, PTL, OL etc. Just CFG:Open <path> and CFG:Save when done. 1.0 BETA 2 Removed case sensitivity from AddFilesFromDirectory. Added Patch Extract and ReBuild into right-click menu. Automatically saves and reloads mods before rebuilding. Misc changes. 1.0 BETA 1 Too many changes to list since 0.9.3 Download 1.0 BETA

So I needed some drawing practice now that I have my new tablet, and Ace suggested drawing RRU members as Rock Raiders. So That's what I'm doing. Electra

Beneath my digital MOCs I also built the rather ugly looking werewolf MOC with real bricks three years ago (I uploaded some pictures of it on RRU and Mocpages). A reason for that problem was my lack of useful parts (or rather the lack of those ball joints, that are used in Bionicle and Hero Factory sets). Three years later I wanted to draw people and wondered how to get the perpective and proportions right. Then I remembered, that I had a female wooden mannequin for many years now, which I have never used. The main advantage was, that it actually helped me a bit with getting the perspective and proportions right and that it stayed in its position. The disadvantage was the bad flexibility. After that I thought: "Hmm, I wonder, if I could build a better and more awesome looking version out of Lego. I just need some newer sets to have more parts". Well, here is the result: Electra. The flexibility is higher, but the stability is much lower (therefore I have to use acrylic varnish on the ball joints). I still had some part restrictions, but compared with my 2011 MOC I made quite some progress. After four months and ~800 bricks the project is now (hopefully) finished (but getting proportions etc. right was an annoying job) and it looks like I ended up with a gynoid, that you could put into a Sci-Fi setting (IN SPACE of course), instead of having a simple lego figurine, but who needs boring stuff anyway? ^^ About the part restriction thing again: I used 9 different ball joint bricks for this MOC, but 6 of them were small ball joints and therefore I had only 3 different bricks for the bigger ball joints left. I also had no Bionicle or Hero Factory sets, which made the job of building organic shapes harder. And yes: Quite a few Mixel sets had to die for Electra Okay, after I have bored you enough with the back story I will show you some pictures: WIP pictures: And here is a picture from the final MOC ([Update 2015-10-28]: I replaced the picture with a better one, that I made ~two weeks ago): Electra by Arthuriel Aurillion, auf Flickr

    Rocket Racers Car

Hello, and welcome to RRU! With the original game, it isn't possible (at least as far as I know) to get his car. However, we can use any bricks/chassis on our own cars by simply modding the game: To mod the game, you will first need to download either >UNGTC or >Developer Mode Patcher (I recommend DMP since you don't have to rebuild the GAMEDATA.gtc file in your LR2 directory). Once you have installed either one and extracted the .gtc file, you can use all of the bricks and chassis (including ones that you couldn't normally access) by following the directions in >this topic.

    BIONICLE RETURNING 2015

I am one of those anomalous persons who enjoyed Bionicle through it's entire run. My least favorite year, not surprisingly, is 2010, but even that was good, given what we got. I love the Mata Nui years as dearly as the next fan, but I never enjoyed the other years of the theme less because they were different. I'm glad that Bionicle was adventurous. Instead of continually upgrading the Toa Nuva (ala Hero Factory) it gave us first the Turaga, and then a group of well-loved matoran, as Toa. Instead of nine years on the same tropical island, we got an underground metropolis, a miserable island enslaved by villains masquerading as Toa, an underwater city, a cavernous world-within-a-world, and a new planet. I imagine that if the story had never left Mata Nui that we'd all be a good deal less fond of the island. As for Bionicle's return, I am quite excited about the prospect. Yes, it will use the CCBS system, but I have nothing against the system when implemented well. I would hope that a few years in a Bionicle style would improve the it greatly beyond the awkward state it is currently in.

    BIONICLE RETURNING 2015

Aww screw it, i'm jumping on the hype train I still like 2001-2006 better, but it'll be fun to see where this goes, and what the new sets look like. (if the Hype train doesn't crash and burn of corse)

Quite right. Hopefully this will remedy any color issues. My apologizes about the less than preferable non-transparent background. I am using a plugin for PDN that doesn't support transparencies. Thanks. Always nice to have fans.
