Classic LEGO Games Ported to Garry's Mod/SFM

Downloads: I've started doing some LEGO model porting on my break from porting models from 3D Worms games. So. Without further ado, here are a few screens so you know what I'm talking about: Torq Racer from Drome Racers Boat from LEGO Racers 2 (originally I was going to rip a palm tree, but this caught my attention. ) I'll likely be porting other random stuff from all other classic LEGO Games too! (as long as I own it) So, since I'm clueless on what exactly to port, throw me some suggestions! This is not restricted to DR and LR2. Important thing to note! I won't do landscapes and characters for the follow reasons: a) Landscapes can't be ported due to Valve's custom map format. b) Characters should be rigged, and I don't know how to do that (yet). List of Games I can port from: LEGO Racers (N64 Only, when I rip from the PC version it is like someone stuck the model in acid) LEGO Racers 2 Drome Racers LEGO Island 2 Island Xtreme Stunts LEGO Rock Raiders Soccer Mania Bionicle: The Game Games I can't do: LEGO Island (too old) -Others games I still have to test- Chess Creator Creator KK

Before anyone considers making more of these, lemme just put all the designs so far in one place: Now, are y'all sure you want to do this?

Tutorial: Setting Up/Installing a LEGO Racers Mod

I don't actually have LR2 installed at the moment, due to my old WinXP crashing and me not getting around to finish setting up my new one yet. It shouldn't be difficult though, just open the LEGO_JAM folder and type adpelvis.tdb into the search box at the top-right of the window, then press enter. I'm guessing it might be in the COMMON folder though, as it's Ann Droid's file.

Tutorial: Setting Up/Installing a LEGO Racers Mod

I guess that particular file is messed up, then? Try replacing it with one from an unmodded version of the game (so, extract the LEGO.JAM file from your default unmodified installation, locate the adpelvis.tdb file and copy it over the modded one). If that works but you get the same Fatal Error with a different part, it may be a bigger problem.

Are all car sets the same speed etc?

I dunno, I think that there is something to the differences in turning beyond hitbox sizes. I know that whenever I use the standard castle chassis, the turning suddenly becomes a lot less responsive - or at least it seems very much as if I have difficulty pulling the same turns as I am able to do well enough with, say, the speed chassis.

    The (slightly disturbing) Running Man

THIS TOPIC WAS BURIED DEAD IN THE DESERT SANDS OF EGYPT BY BARON VON BARRON HIMSELF TO KEEP IT FROM EVER SCARING LITTLE LEGO PEOPLE AGAIN. Nah, nice image you made there Ben. The cap's a nice touch.
