Ok - sorry - I was unspecific. What I ment was: I thought that in the Indices Range the second value is allowed to be between 0 and 255. Because the corresponding values are of type byte. In my 2x4 brick the Indices Meta entrys for the inside of the brick reference to an amount of 100 vertices and 90 indices. This seems to be to big. Or lets say: The brick works when I remove this Indices Meta entrys (and reduce the entry amount): k_2E // Indices Meta [28] // reduce to 26 { k_27 // Material ID (ushort)0 k_32 // Bone ID (ushort)0 k_31 // Vertices Range (byte)0 (ushort)0 (ushort)20 k_2D // Indices Range (ushort)0 (ushort)10 k_31 // Vertices Range (byte)0 (ushort)20 (ushort)48 k_2D // Indices Range (ushort)10 (ushort)48 k_31 // Vertices Range (byte)0 (ushort)68 (ushort)48 k_2D // Indices Range (ushort)58 (ushort)48 k_31 // Vertices Range (byte)0 (ushort)116 (ushort)48 k_2D // Indices Range (ushort)106 (ushort)48 k_31 // Vertices Range for the inside // remove (byte)0 // remove (ushort)164 // remove (ushort)100 // remove k_2D // Indices Range for the inside // remove (ushort)154 // remove (ushort)90 // remove k_31 // Vertices Range (byte)0 (ushort)264 (ushort)37 k_2D // Indices Range (ushort)244 (ushort)36 k_31 // Vertices Range (byte)0 (ushort)301 (ushort)37 k_2D // Indices Range (ushort)280 (ushort)36 k_31 // Vertices Range (byte)0 (ushort)338 (ushort)37 k_2D // Indices Range (ushort)316 (ushort)36 k_31 // Vertices Range (byte)0 (ushort)375 (ushort)37 k_2D // Indices Range (ushort)352 (ushort)36 k_31 // Vertices Range (byte)0 (ushort)412 (ushort)37 k_2D // Indices Range (ushort)388 (ushort)36 k_31 // Vertices Range (byte)0 (ushort)449 (ushort)37 k_2D // Indices Range (ushort)424 (ushort)36 k_31 // Vertices Range (byte)0 (ushort)486 (ushort)37 k_2D // Indices Range (ushort)460 (ushort)36 k_31 // Vertices Range (byte)0 (ushort)523 (ushort)37 k_2D // Indices Range (ushort)496 (ushort)36 } I will try to upload a new sample tomorrow (relative ). I'm PlatonicWaffles but most people call me Colly - a classic LEGO game fan here. I've played a ton of them in my childhood and watched numerous modding videos on YouTube pertaining to the series. Then today I found my copy of LEGO Island, and subsequently found this forum. Soooooo I decided to sign up. Hi!1 point -

RRU Minecraft Server

Yes, that'd be great! MaelstromIslander has also sourced some maps himself, but I'm all up for using maps that members have made themselves here - in fact I promote that those who are willing do so, it'd give a much more RRU-y vibe to the matches. Just, you know, don't build a secret tunnel into the opponent's lair filled with TNT and such. That sounds awesome, DM, I liked your work on the arena on the old server. I guess the size of the maps needs to be kept somewhat small so that players are forced into engagement (remember that in 1.8 small world borders can now be set, if you'd like to make a map then please use one), but also large enough that players can collect resources without fear of being sniped or attacked too often.1 point -
LEGO Minecraft Sets Released
Ayliffe reacted to Jimbob for a topic
Yeah I've seen these hanging around the stores in England for a little while, I'm a little surprised that we've got them first! When I first heard news of these figure Minecraft sets, I didn't like the figures and also didn't see the point of the sets. I also thought they were expensive for a small amount. But seeing them set up in the stores, I'll admit that they actually look pretty decent. Still not enough for me to buy one myself, but I think they're alright, and if you're a big Minecraft fan then I don't think you'll be disappointed.1 point -

RRU Minecraft Server

I think you'll find it good to hear that I may be getting some new internet service sometime in the future. This service includes: 250GB per month Should I run over (highly doubt it) if I pay $10, I'll get 50GB more until the next month Varying speeds depending on location (probably 18MB/s, compared to my 1MB/s) And the best part: Absolutely 100% NO SATELLITE LATENCY! Which means I can do so many more things like: Kill something in Minecraft without 2 second delay upon hits (I die before they do) Place something in Minecraft without 2 second delay between each block (precision builds are annoying (block placement sound doesn't play til 2 seconds later)) Play GMod Multiplayer (I can't even move) Play UHC Minecraft (I'll stand a better chance now) Play any online game (YAY) etc... But anyway, there's no set date or time on when we're going to be getting this, just that we've looked into it and it seems much more reasonable than what we have now. Just thought I'd share the news that I'd soon be able to be on the server more and have a go at UHC sometime. Sound like a good round. Can't wait to hear the next one. (Oh and JJ, would I be able to spectate next round? I'd probably still be on the old internet, but I could still watch and see how it works.)1 point -

On this frightful day, at 6pm UTC, eight adventurers joined in what was one of the hardest-fought rounds of UHC yet. Paired up, four teams of two were sent out around the small world to plunder its resources, tech up and eventually kill off all opponents. They were... TEAM 1 - Ångry Håmbørgers frøm spåce, who jumped into lava Arthuriel bartvbl TEAM 2 - Sonic Blasters MaelstromIslander The Ace Railgun TEAM 3 - Obsidian Raiders Ben24x7 JimbobJeffers TEAM 4 - Void Exceptions Antillies RR Rocks The match managed to last four hours (including a fifteen minute starting delay, apologies for that on my part)! The first member to be slain, unfortunately, was MaelstromIslander. Soon after, Ben24x7 received a divine calling and had to leave the world, leaving teams 2 and 3 with just one member left each. It wasn't long before I headed over to a rather conspicuous wooden house on the hillside, sneaked downstairs and found its occupant - The Ace Railgun - evading zombies within. After a short battle, Ace emerged victorious, vanquishing the Obsidian Raiders. Later on, Ace was herself claimed by falling into lava, wiping out the Sonic Blasters too! After this, the two remaining teams continued to mine for a long time, the Void Exceptions even managing to acquire the coveted diamonds hidden deep below the surface. It wasn't until the end drew near that bartvbl was caught by surprise and slain by his opponents, leaving his team mate all on his own. After a good effort, Arthuriel too fell victim to the sword, destroying the Ångry Håmbørgers frøm spåce, who jumped into lava. This left the Void Exceptions - with both Antillies and RR Rocks still alive and kicking - the victors! Congratulations, Team 4 won New UHC: Round 1! Well done to all who took part, it was truly an excellent game, and it sounded like you all enjoyed yourselves! My apologies to those who couldn't make it to the match, too, hopefully you can make it to Round 2. EDIT: bartvbl has uploaded a video showing the best part of his team's experience during the map. Watch it here!1 point -

Update time! What's new? The wheels have been recoloured and correctly positioned. This was much simpler than I thought, the ##JMW.SDB file contains front and rear axle coordinates, so no modifying of the model or animation files were necessary. The whole vehicle as been moved up to the correct height (thanks le717 for making >GDBump!), and Redbeard along with it. The colours on the slope brick are fixed. Textures! Everything has stud textures now. I cannot explain enough how much easier colouring and shading a vehicle is with textures... Wow. I'll be making that clear in the tutorial when I update it. I've modelled the hinge brick, which is a lot more difficult then it might seem. It takes up nearly a quarter of the file so far, and that's just the front one, now I need to copy it over to the back. You may notice the shading's a bit smoother on it - that's because gradients are possible in LR too. There's not much left to do now!1 point -

Looking in a charity shop today, I didn't find anything interesting until I spotted this on the floor behind a baby cot (it had fallen from a shelf). As you may be able to see, it was taped shut, so I had no idea if it was all there or if it was even the right set inside. I lifted the edges where I could and saw a few matching parts for this set, so I thought "Why not?". For those that can't see properly, it was priced at £6.00 I had 3 main reasons for buying this: I do not want some kid to rip the tape off too quickly, ruining the box. It's Classic Space LEGO. It's LEGO. Luckily, the tape came off easily without ripping anything, apart from a tiny bit on the edges. The box is in rather nice condition, although a part of the box under the flap is ripped... There was something slightly annoying though. They put the sticker on the box before writing on it, resulting in the price and date being marked into the box. Opening it, it was obvious that it wasn't just LEGO in there. There were a few Tyco Super Blocks in there as well. The Tyco set is obviously incomplete, judging by it's instructions. It does have the LEGO set instructions! After a while sorting through pieces, I managed to assemble most of the set. I was expecting bite marks and fading, but the bricks are in great condition! I might as well list the missing pieces: I'm using Peeron for the parts list and part numbers. So, if I checked and counted correctly, there's 34 missing pieces. About 87% complete; not too bad! It seems strange to me that part 3069bp25 in OldGray is used, but gets hidden by a 2x2 plate directly over it in the next step. EDIT: Is it common for a 3068b in OldGray to have no info underneath apart from just the number 8? One of them in this set is like this... Identical otherwise...1 point -

I was happily surprised too. The minifigs are in near perfect condition, I'd say... Only minor marks/dents. The logos on them are unmarked. The red one is missing its jetpack/airtanks. The blue helmet has no dimples, but the red one does. Now that I'm examining them closer, I see that their legs don't have the LEGO copyright on them. The hip piece does though. Blue Legs info: L: 3, R: 12 Red Legs info: L: 1, R: 3 The legs thing seems to be normal for older figs though, as some different minifigs I know to be original are similar. It may be an error piece, but that's unlikely. I don't think a pic is necessary.1 point -

Quisoves Potoo reacted to grappigegovert for a topic
The problem is that the indices get higher than 255, which is the max value for a byte. You'll need to create multiple vertex/index ranges so the indices stay under 255 (with each range, the indices start at 0 again.) Example taken from 4BRK.gdb: In this example: The 19th index is the first index in the 2nd range, you see that it contains a 0, but also a 31 and 30. If you were to convert it to the format you have now, the 0 would become 32 (0+vertex start) but the 31 and 30 stay the same to connect the 2nd range with the 1st range. In all the other indices you add 32 (vertex start) I hope this is not too confusing, it took me a while to get it too.1 point -
