RUH ROH, REGO!! Those redesigns are, in a word, terrible. For DECADES, we've had the same general designs for the Mystery Inc. gang, and now... *sigh* As long as we get normal Minifig heads and not minidolls, we should be more-or-less fine. I'll actually get myself a Mystery Machine set, too. UNLESS THEY REDESIGN THAT ALONG WITH THOSE MEDDLING KIDS.

Can LEGO stop popping out licensed sets every 5 minutes already to make a quick buck. Who asked for this? seriously? where is the demand for Scooby sets? Either TLG is trying to ride on the back of WB or WB is trying to ride the back of TLG for promotion. There is this other site called LEGO Ideas full of products people want, maybe you've heard of it LEGO. I do not understand the re-design. It's like they got the all time well known design and asked themselves: how can we make these more revolting?

Warner Bros. Please no. Anyways, if this (the sets) becomes a thing, and the minifigures/minidolls aren't absolutely terrifying, I'd be more than happy to pick up a Mystery Machine.

The Brick Fan reports that the first wave of 2015 Mixels have been revealed. It appears that we're getting space Mixels, another wave of fire Mixels, and some spooky Mixels. The Max-Mixes haven't been revealed yet, but I'm sure they'll look really fun! I really like how some glow in the dark Mixel eyes are going to be made, it'll be cool to see what MOCists will do with them. >Link to the Brick Fan Report<

Inspired by AcePilot90's Basil the bat...MAN?! (I hope you don't mind!), and using decals found at LEGO Superheroes and MORE!!!, I have created textures for some of the main DC characters. To add them to your game (assuming the JAM file has been extracted), extract the file and copy all the bitmap images it contains into GAMEDATACOMMON and MENUDATAPARTDB. Enjoy! The first time I haven't seen the link to the redesign and thought: What's so bad about the redesign? Then I found the link... ...and had to remember the following comic, I made: About the idea to make Lego sets based on the redesigned Scooby Doo series: What can possibly go wrong? Maybe they will get even BIGGER heads than the Simpsons minifigures .

I think "Comploo" works better seeing how messed up they are making a good classic cartoon.

"In lieu of" meaning "in place of"? If that's what they would look like, I would be okay with that.

I'm ambivalent on Lego Batman. On the one hand I loved the Lego Movie, and I really don't think that they'd do something like this unless they knew they could do it right. On the other hand, I have a hard time seeing how it could be done right. I suppose we'll see. I think you're using the wrong term. I know it's been months, but out of context, the implications of that quote are terrifying enough to merit re-mentioning.

Over the past week or so, I've been attempting to make a pack of skins that not only features texture corrections for two of the game's characters, but also features several classic minifigures to replace the more boring body parts (i.e. the racing suits, Majisto's body, the regular moustache/sunglasses/skeleton heads). The pack provides a corrected chest texture for Commander Cold, and textures for Black Knight that match the actual Black Knight minifigure (no more mish-mash Fright Knights and Dragon Knights parts...). This includes a new face, chest and swapped helmet colours. The MAP has also been modified for Black Knight (Commander Cold doesn't need one). Meanwhile, here's the list so far for the additional characters, check out the spoiler at the end of the post to see them in action: Señor Palomar - Amazon Adventurers Sheriff Deputy - Western Spyrius Agent - Spyrius Space Port Astronaut - Space Port (Rocket Racers homage ) ??? - Castle character The last figure brings me to a question - I wanted to use the black Castle helmet in a figure, so do you guys think I should do a Fright Knight character or a Black Falcon? I'll try and get the textures up by next week! I somewhat disagree with you there. It provided a bizarre and enjoyable twist on the that no movie has. It was actually clever and inspired, something Clutch Powers was not. Clutch Powers was by no means bad for a CGI cartoon aimed at 5-10 year olds. Oddly, I think if it had been bad, people would remember it better. It was good enough to be nonoffensive,but little else.
