    L.M.S. Explorer - Christmas Version

From the album: L.M.S. Explorer pictures

Inspired by alan's christmas themed Rock Raiders MOC and the Holiday Avatar Collection thread I thought, that I should recolor a picture of the L.M.S. Explorer. The result are several versions like the Christmas or Blacktron one.

    Two great thing!

First off, I finally got a picture of my entire RR collection, including the spare parts bin, which is exciting. Secondly, I have made a soundboard for Android for the RR SFX. but...I don't know how to get it to you guys. It's still a work in progress, but I'd love to get you guys playing with it and get feedback.. So if anyone knows how to have it hosted, or wants to email me and I'll send it to you directly, just let me know.

    Classic LEGO Game Manual Archive

I was recently going through some of my original game discs searching for some assets, and ended up locating some of the original PDFs derived directly from the original source documents, thus preserving formatting, vector culling, and layers. I thought many of you guys would enjoy them, so have I posted the ones I could locate to Oresome in PDF format. As you may notice, I am still missing some manuals, so if you don't see a manual here, please consider checking your own game discs to see if you have it, and link it in a post for me to add to the original post. Thank you! A random note on disabling Docks

While I was mucking around, trying to I found out something about disabling Docks. All you do is in the Path.map, fill up all the water with rubble. It doesn't show up, but since water cannot be shovelled without modding the properties of vehicles (and I can't see WHY you'd want something to shovel water) you cannot build a Dock there, because the water part of the Dock needs to be on normal ground. Also, this means you could have "dredgers" that enable you to build Docks: simply have one hiding far far away, and you make it able to shovel. ... Just thought I'd share that with you...

How to get Rock Raiders to work on VMWare Fusion

This is a quick (and hopefully simple) guide to getting Lego Rock Raiders to work properly on VMWare Fusion; - Go onto VMWare Fusion - Install LRR, but if you have ignore this step - Click on the Windows Start - Open up "All Programs" - Look in the "Games" folder - Open "Lego Rock RaidersTM" (DO NOT OPEN THE STANDARD OR ENCHANCED VERSIONS, AS THEY WILL NOT WORK) - A "Mode selection" window will pop up - Change the Device selection from "Direct3D HAL" to "RGB Emulation" - Click okay (Don't worry about going into 16 Bit, you can still play the game in 32 Bit) - The game SHOULD play - If the game doesn't play, then I don't know what the problem is. I hope those of you who use VMWare found this guide helpful. Enjoy playing Rock Raiders!

    Two great thing!

So that's where all the Bricklink listings have gone! Nice collection dude. You could recreate your own LRR level with that.

A soundboard is basically a load of buttons that play a sound when you click them. He's saying that he's made an app for Android devices.

    TT Games Explorer

I've finally beaten Batman's hat problems. It happened, textures didn't show up, because Batman's hat doesn't use textures. And colors are defined inside .CD file segment. Also, it seems that structnumber1 entries in .GSC header are perfectly editable. I don't know yet, if additional entries would break anything, but careful resizing works. You'll need to change size, numberOfCharacters and textOffsets accordingly. Sluicer: Is it possible to convert mesh data from dx11 GSCs into nxg GSCs (not whole files, only mesh data) and vice versa, or are they too different?

    The Original Makuta

Nice catch, but I'm pretty sure that was just Greg employing some sarcasm - at that point the original Makuta would have pretty well been scrapped.

Thought on Animal and Human DNA exchanging

Why is this discussion still happening? Is it still directly related to the blog post? I'm getting a headache from this stuff.

    TT Games Explorer

@darkel does that mean that, with a bit of TXT and script ticking (I guess) you can like, port ANY character from any LEGO TT game into a different game? For example, Batman in LEGO Star Wars, or Emmet in LEGO Batman 2, or whatever Also does that mean I could create some sort of "Pizza launcher" for a Pepper Roni character? Because that would be awesome EDIT: OH YESSSSSSSSSS Now I just have to make him a separate character c: It will be even more painful to make Pepper a separate character without a proper GSC/GHG manager (to extract and insert back) because almost every character's GHG has an animated face mesh but I want Pepper's face to be plain... if someone with patience to hex edit a GHG (or make that manager tool I talked about) could edit it to have Pepper's features

    Can't Load Missions [Windows 7]

I've been trying to get my copy of Rock Raiders to play on my Windows 7 computer. So far I've encountered the d3drm.dll issue (Solved), had missing AVI Codec files (Solved), needed to launch in compatability mode (Solved), and had missing cutscenes (Solved). My current status is to run in Windows 98 mode with all of the checkboxes for compatability checked off. I extracted the videos from the DATA folder of the ISO file that I got the game from and saved them in the new DATA folder in my Program Files. For some reason when I installed it, those videos were not moved over. When I try to play the game, I have to play using the RGB Emulation mode rather than the Direct3D HAL mode on the mode select screen. Once I do that, the game launches, shows the LEGO video, shows the little intro movie (which is skippable), and goes to the main menu. Everything loads fine on the main menu. I can go to the Start Game screen or the Training Mission screens with no issues. However when I try to start a mission, eveything crashes and there is no error message. What else do I need to do to get Rock Raiders running?
