Good news: the collection of old Klick issues is still available and I already have someone in France willing to forward them to me. I'm arranging their purchase now. Edit: The order's been placed, but we're not quite out of the woods yet. Let's just hope it first arrives locally in France, then manages to safely make its way internationally to the states.2 points -

Earlier this year, LEGO brought their partnership with Cuusoo to a close, bringing their public support based line of sets in-house under the new name Ideas. But Cuusoo, corrupted by the power of the brick and hungry for more, turned to another source - BrickLink - and basically started doing the same thing again. BrickLink came under new ownership a while back, and since then further development of the site has been focused on their new MOC Shop - a decision that has inspired the criticism of many, as it comes at the expense of renovating the core BrickLink website. GeoTool Beta 2 - 18 June 2016 A map viewer/editor for Lego Rock Raiders. Currently it can edit most aspects of a map's terrain, and can also convert the heightmap to and from images for editing in GIMP/Photoshop/Paint. It's written in D and OpenGL. Windows only. You can get the source code on GitHub. It replaces the old Heightmap Converter tool, which was ugly and too badly coded to improve any further. Also, I much enjoyed switching to D, it's a fun programming language. Usage Buttons for creating, loading, and saving maps are at the top right. You can also load by dragging a map's icon onto the GeoTool window. The load and save functions automatically detect the map components by their names, so you only need to open one of the map files; the rest will automatically be detected. They do need to be named correctly though -- as in, contain the words "surf"/"high"/etc. somewhere in their filename. You can view and edit the Terrain and the Heightmap with the tabs under the New/Load/Save buttons. Most image formats are supported for heightmaps. Images are grayscale, with black representing height 0 and white representing height 63 (higher than that bugs out LRR, so no point going that high.) You can move the camera with the keyboard or by clicking/dragging on the minimap. Screenshots New GUI to replace the buggy, gray old one: By default, LRR's radar map colors are used for the terrain: Terrain can also use the textures loaded from LRR biomes. Here's level 23 in terrain edit mode, with the rock biome: Heightmap editor: Controls WASD/Click on map = move Home = reset and center view to the center of the map Arrow keys = rotate camera PGUP/PGDN/+/-/Mouse wheel = zoom camera F5/P = save a screenshot F = toggle the FPS/status bar at the bottom Esc = exit You can load a folder containing textures for biomes. Biome folder paths are saved in the settings.ini file, so you don't have to reload them later on. Well I think it's time for me to move on, time to look past RRU, it's been a good 1 9/10ths years here, and I've had loads of fun. But I'm currently in a rather bumpy part sector of my life, in a few months I'll be starting HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy) so I'll have to find my self again, and I'll be rid of my boyish appearance in 1-2 years. But I feel that it'd be better for me to transition free of distractions, as I'll also be taking on my internship during the same summer I start hormones, then one more semester of school afterwards. I've also got to get my Drivers License, and passport, both of which are crucial to my future plans, this along with the Anime project is giving me a lot to think about. I'll still probably keep in touch with friends on Skype and Steam and will answer a few PMs. But I won't be back until I finish my transition, and have settled down in Japan. I used the .lxf file from this post: by jamesster to create this file: I included it in the game and it is working. But I do not really like the result (besides it is a little bit to small, a little bit to deep and a little bit to far to the back). I think this files really need normals. By the way - is there a good way to make screenshots? Now the car has the better size but the textures are not the right ones.1 point -

I think we'd have to wait and see if this becomes anything. Unofficial sets have no collectable value other than the bricks they are made from. CUUSOO is also not dedicated to LEGO, it's just one of their sub-sections. 100 votes seems far too low to get attention and if this gets any popularity every man and his dog will be reaching 100 votes, but maybe this will be offset by the flooding of rubbish builds which is likely to happen. They are flooding their own site, just look at how many descriptions start with "I found this wonderful". Well first off, my name is not Le Vee. This is just something I'm having fun with until the new year. Second, I wish you well in your endeavors and move to Japan. Maybe one day you will star in an anime (my intention in that was not to rhyme, but this rhyme was most definitely mine). Third, thanks for just being here as long as you have and being apart of RRU, from A/V support to moderating the MC server (very well, I might add), to just having fun with everyone. It has been nice knowing you, Ace. Some more info. To add a character: 1. Put character resources in chars/ folders. That's .CDs, .TEX, etc. 2. Delete or blank chars/charstxt.fpk. If valid .FPK exists it will override changes. Game works perfectly without it. 3.Add character data string into chars/marvelminifig.cpj. This is tricky, but doable, there are straightforward string lines and several size/offset pointers. 4. Add character data into chars/collection.txt or __dlc2__/chars/dlccollection1.txt. Instantly available char data would look something like: collect "CHARNAME" no_progress or collect "CHARNAME" no_progress dlc_only Done. There is still a problem with icons, but I've mentioned that. Basic char mod management tool will have to be able to move/rename/delete files, edit TXTs, edit .CPJs and resize/copypaste .DDS pieces. Also, almost any character's ability and/or item can be used with another character. Though that which require additional animations have to be included into .CD file. Also, I've poked a little more (specifically, copypasted hat_batman's mesh part 0 onto hat_betaraybill's mesh part 0 and moved several bytes) and managed to do this: This is still unusable, because this happens if camera turns: However, that's already something. And char more or less behaves like Batman.1 point -
