Art Battle 2: A Rude Awakening

This is perfect for the storyline though, if they do get discovered entirely in this battle, Fund-Our-Corp would be perfect to add in. Thundercorp is not destroyed. Parts of the building is still intact, same with the RRU Tower. They both can be rebuilt. And because thundercorp conquered earth in another dimension... Its nearly impossible to destroy Thundercorp... But thats what meCyr thinks. FYI, thats not you Cyrem... thats the alternate dimension version (Thundercorp Dimension as i call it) of you. Edit: Heres a new part. The reason the first ben clone wants to help the real ben is because they didn't correctly genetically engineer him, so he has the same mind and personality as ben as well. Pass to ben.2 points -

Enable Manual control over your car
Lair reacted to Cyrem for a topic
Imagine actually controlling your car in Stunt Rally? Dream come true... well... wish granted. Yes I'm serious. Create a shortcut to _msr.exe Right Click the shortcut and click on properties At the end of the 'Target' path add "/FREEFORM" (without quotes) after the file closing quote. (e.g "C:Program Files (x86)LEGOStunt Rally_msr.exe" /FREEFORM You can combine mulitple parameters such as the no disc one too. Optionally add "/IGTEST" to stop car respawns. It's a little sensitve... but who cars! so much better. Enjoy!1 point -
End of LU song
legosponge reacted to eagleeyedan for a topic
Right after LU ended I was mourning and happened to be listening to Breakeven by The Script. The line "I'm falling to pieces" inspired me to write this parody version of the song. I came across it again today and thought I would share it here I'm still building but I'm barely breathing Wish there was a Mythran I could believe in Cuz I spent my time and all my freedom Cuz when LU ended it left me grieving Those last days were some of my worst LEGO needed to put their customers first The night it ended I had trouble sleeping Cuz when LU ended it left me grieving, grieving no... What am I supposed to do when I had so much fun playing LU and What am I supposed to say when LU ended and now I can't play I'm falling to pieces, yeah, I'm falling to pieces. They said they didn't want to but they had their reasons But no matter what I just don't see it Cuz LU's gone and I'm not agree'n Cuz when LU ended it left me grieving, grieving...no What am I supposed to do when I had so much fun playing LU and What am I supposed to say when LU ended and now I can't play I'm falling to pieces, yeah, I'm falling to pieces. I'm falling to pieces. I'm falling to pieces. Oh you got my money and their money but none of the pain We tried to stop it but you took the game Now I'm trying to survive on what remains ooh Cuz you left us with no hope and nothing's the same I'm still building but I'm barely breathing Wish there was a Mythran I could believe in Cuz I spent my time and all my freedom Cuz when LU ended it left me grieving, grieving noo What am I supposed to do when I had so much fun playing LU and What am I supposed to say when LU ended and now I can't play I'm falling to pieces, yeah, I'm falling to pieces. yeah, I'm falling to pieces. yeah, I'm falling to pieces. Oh, I'm still grieving yeah, Oh, I'm still grieving yeah, Oh, I'm still grieving yeah,1 point -

Art Battle 2: A Rude Awakening

NOTE; THIS POST DOES NOT ADVANCE THE STORY/PLOT IN ANY WAY, ITS JUST A POINTER Right, I thought about it and I've come up with a name for my Third Party; "Fund-our-corp" is just an idea I had where if you pronounce it, you get "Thunder corp". "Fund-our-corp" is Thunder corp's back-up in the event Thunder corp has either been defeated or that they are in danger of being found out. When Thunder corp is not in danger or gone, Fund-our-corp spends it's time attempting to conquer Technology and Computer markets, failing every time.1 point -

I really appreciate Ben throwing up an image that's not drawn. I suck at drawing, I don't find it fun, yet I want to be a part of this for the fun of it (not for marking or winning or anything, just to run my own little story on the side). If it's an art battle, people should be able to create that art in whatever way they're most comfortable with. Anyway, before I show my first entry, we need to flash back to two posts. That has woken up a monster, and he will not stop until pants justice is enacted.1 point -

oh Anyway, the gripe I have with "How are you" is that it isn't stated as a question. The vocal influence: the raising of the voice to mark a question: is nonexistent and it isn't intended as a question... so why do people ask, as opposed to state, it? And to continue with the robot quotes: "Stress overload detected. The facility will implode in. Six. Minutes." -- Syntax* (slightly snowcloned) *Syntax is indeed from Freedom Planet. "What are you doing?" is often stated with the same inflection, and expects an honest answer.1 point -
LEGO Universe To Close In 2012
eagleeyedan reacted to Oboe Shoes for a topic
*From a Lugnet email* [LEGOR Universe to close in 2012] Online game will close on January 31, 2012. The LEGO Group's digital offerings will continue to develop over the coming years. November 4, 2011 - The LEGO Group today announced that it will close LEGOR Universe, an MMOG (massively-multiplayer online game) that has been in operation since the autumn of 2010. In spite of very positive player feedback and a large number of players in the free play zone, it has not been possible to convert a satisfactory number of players to paying subscribers. It has therefore been decided to close the game as of January 31, 2012. "The LEGO Universe team can take pride in having developed and launched a great LEGO experience that many players will miss," said Jesper Vilstrup, Vice President, LEGO Universe. "Right now, we have almost 2 million players in LEGO Universe, and we get extremely positive feedback from players. Unfortunately, we have not been able to build a satisfactory revenue model in our target group, and therefore, have decided to close the game." Despite the change, the ambition to develop and run a digital business remains. In future, it is the intention to further pursue cooperation with partners. The LEGO Group has a strong and continuing partnership with TT Games & Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to create digital LEGO experiences within video games. A further expansion in the digital area will mainly be based on similar partnerships. "The development of our digital offerings continues to be a very important element in our strategy," said Mads Nipper, Executive Vice President, LEGO Group. "We have more than 20 million visitors on www.LEGO.com every month, and LEGO video games are among the bestselling children's video games with sales of more than 60 million units in the last five years. Through our experience developing and running LEGO Universe, we have gained a lot of valuable insights, and we have a very strong foundation for future development in the digital area." As a consequence of the closure, the LEGO Universe staff has today been informed that the 'Play Well Studios' in Louisville, Colorado and the game's marketing function in Billund, Denmark will be closed. This will affect 115 employees. All affected employees will be offered assistance in finding new jobs inside or outside the LEGO Group. <http://aboutus.LEGO.com/en-US/pressroom/Default.aspx?y=276303&l=200071&n=0 LEGO.com> Source from LEGO Group. -end of report- Thoughts? I know the game changed drastically (and apparently for the worst) from it's original designs, and people (including me) were a bit let down, but completely killing it after just over a year seems a bit... harsh. I suppose that's LEGO for ya though, Purge anything that's not making money. :/1 point
