Quite possibly so. He was, after all informed of the reboot, and given 2015 parts, during the Summer. For my part, I'm not sure what to make of his statements on the matter. If he simply said "the Vahi is involved, but that's it," (or some such thing) I would be inclined to believe him. But the suggestion that the fellow at Comic Con was simply saying "We'll have a Mask of Time that doesn't look like half a mask" is rather stretching credibility, in my opinion. Which leads me to think that if he does know anything special, it's contrary to what he's saying. Surely you're being rather hasty in judging the new story? The year has just begun, and we've only seen a smidgin of 2015's events. So far, it doesn't seem all that different from the original story, at the outset. We've got a legend depicting two brothers and the evil wrought by one of them, six elemental heroes sent to defend the villagers from menacing beasts and to collect masks, etc. I doubt we'll get the depth we had in 2001, but I think it is important to note that said depth was, in the grand scheme of things, accidental. MNOG was the source of most of it, and that was originally meant to be an inconsequential, non-canon means of promoting BIONICLE.

I'm sorry if I'm going to sound a bit blunt about this, but unless you can actively contribute to and control / organize such a mod / game, while keeping morale and motivation up, this cannot and will not happen. This community has tried a community overhaul of Rock Raiders before, which ended up dead from neglect / lack of organization. It takes a LOT more then good intend and a few encouraging words to complete this goal too, you would need people for everything from modelling to coding to UI design. These kind of resources can't be gained out of a small community such as this. While it is good to want to see something done, it is a lot better to get something done. For starters if you could provide a basic, but promising base for a project of this kind, then people might go on board with the idea. I, as a modeller who has contributed unpaid work for many ultimately failed projects, can tell you, that you can't come bursting in as an "ideas guy" and expect people to catch on with the idea and make it a reality. So, yeah, unless you can do something to motivate the community to see this as a completable project, you're probably not going to see this happen.

I feel bad for whoever had to do QA testing for this. "What do I do today, boss?" "Go to that flying level, collect all the collectibles five times over, and make sure you can die everywhere you should be able to. Also sometimes nothing happens when hitting the ice for the final time, could you narrow down the exact conditions which trigger that?"

Oh my apologies, I forgot that this mod's current release is a PatchIt! one, I don't think it has a manual install option. You should be able to download this mod and install it with >PatchIt! instead of having to recompile the game yourself, just make sure you follow the instructions in that topic carefully. Perhaps I should take this moment to say that unfortunately I lost all the Rock Racers files a few months ago. I can't remember if I've said this already, but my very old WinXP laptop which contained all the mod's data (among many other mods) randomly decided to stop booting up and finally kicked the bucket. I can of course continue this mod using the download in this topic, but it doesn't have all the organisation of my original setup, the original files I was working with, nor the updates I had started working on. Ah well, it's a minor blow that I can definitely recover from some day.

Extract the .wad files using '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> and you will find the LEGO.cfg file. Oh, and while you are modifying the .cfg, I highly suggest >you do this tweak in the meantime to prevent things like Sonic Blaster crashes.

Alright, let's say you are in some sort of situation or place and either feel you have nothing to do or are just bored, you can "excersize" your creativity. First of all, look for something that catches your eye. It could be furniture, architecture, etc. Now you've seen it, think of how you could recreate it in Lego Bricks, you don't really need a pile of bricks in front of you, just use your mind. It doesn't matter if you are thinking in terms of Minifig scale or real life scale, just as long as you are thinking how you can put together the object/room/etc, then you are at least using your creativity to think of not only how the bricks connect to make that fascinating shape you need to make, but also what works and what doesn't. And best of all, when you think up a Lego impossibility, you can rethink it without having to take time to deconstruct a real model. If you are done, and still have time, you could do it again but with a different object. I'm posting this up here because I don't think I can fit it into a Profile Feed. Still, I hope this is interesting to other people.

I've seen them come, I've seen them go, I've even seen some fall and burn in the Omega Parallel Time vortex, but I move on, with a new face to take the empty space. And hence I float through time and space, striving to take all signs of sanity out the past and into the present. My home being RRU, where I've been attempting to learn not only about humankind, but about how advanced humanity has gotten... ...which is the same as learning about humankind. ... Oh, to hell with it, I'm pulling your leg. ;)
