Drome Racers in-game-only models in LDD

Since it's now the story year of Drome Racers, 2015, I decided to play the game again. (It works great on my Windows 8.1 x64 PC with an Xbox One Controller for Windows!) Then I wondered whether anyone ever made the in-game-only vehicles. >Someone else on here asked that question, and I gladly registered in order to see the answers. Unfortunately, I didn't see any rendition of the Torq Racer, so I made one in LDD. As time allows, I plan to re-create these models from Drome Racers in LDD, in this order: Pulse Concept (finished--see >this post; reference screenshots; old MLCAD model) Cow (finished--see >this post and >this post; built per MaelstromIslander's request) Dune Striker (finished--see >this post; reference screenshots) Stealth Roadster (finished--see >this post and >this post; reference screenshots) Tremor (finished--see >this post; reference screenshots) Hornet (finished--see> this post by MvdL95 and >this post by me; reference screenshots) Tsunami Street (finished--see >this post; reference screenshots) If the model you're looking for isn't listed above, chances are it was released as an official model or official alternate model in the summer of 2002. Feel free to use my reference screenshots to make your own renderings and/or real-life models of the in-game-only Drome Racers models. I plan to build one (and only one) of those models in real life. As for which model and which color... that's up to you! You may select the model in the poll above. After I have posted all the renderings, I'll announce the winner from the poll. (In the event of a tie, I'll either add a tiebreaker poll question, or if that's not possible, I'll decide the winner myself.) Next, I'll see which colors I can make the winning model in, based on available parts (I won't paint elements if they're not available in a certain color). Then I'll either add a poll question for the color or decide on the color myself. Finally, I'll post a link to a separate topic for the real-life model. EDIT: I thought I made a poll, but it seems to have disappeared. Please post or PM me your votes, or I can just count the thanks/likes per model. Thank you. EDIT 3/8/2015: In accordance with >this post, I have decided to build the Hornet in Metallic Green. Here it is. Without further ado, here is the Torq Racer! I wanted to use flexible axles (like the model in the game) rather than flexible cables, but due to limitations in LDD, I had to choose the latter. Rest assured that if this model gets built in real life, I'll use flexible axles. I'm not too sure about how the steering mechanism is supposed to be built, so I would appreciate any suggestions. Click any image for a larger one, click here to download the LXF File, or click here for my reference screenshots. Color Variations: All of these, including the white one above (but not the green one) are possible to build in real life according to Peeron.

    Shadowblaze - Back Again

Welp, here's another music for ya! A Drumstep track, with chiptune sounds, guitars (a couple of which were recorded by me), and a brutal drop like in my classic Dubstep/Drumstep stuff. So, hope you'll enjoy! I've had a lot of fun when making this track. http://youtu.be/XMA_qEJuLc4 Listen on SoundCloud: NOPE

Hardcoded Things In LEGO Racers 2 [Offsets]

Confused by all this? Use the tool made by RobExplorien! http://www.rockraidersunited.com/topic/6358-lr2-hex-editing-made-easier/ Want to change Weapon Stats, Camera View, and much more? Well then you've come to the right place! Useful links for calculations: Float Converter Big to Little Endian Converter TIME ATTACK SPEED + GRIP Open your LEGO Racers 2.exe in a Hex editor and jump to the offset 28A2E, you should land on bytes "CC CC CC 3E" (0.4 in float), this is the value. If you didn't land on it, go to the begining of the file and search for "CC CC CC 3E", it will be the 4th result. Speed and Grip share the same bytes, and shield is not included (why would it need to be?). Enjoy your uber fast car without the need of Cheat Engine (which did by the way help me finding this by telling me the value) P.S. While I was messing around, I noticed one of the "CC CC CC 3E" seem to change the scale of something on the menus... FIELD OF VIEW (FOV) Offset is 4A105, the bytes being "00 00 B4 42" (90 in float), if not, search this value from the start of the file, it will be the second one in. Enjoy the change of FOV! CAR BONUS STAT MULTIPLIER (ALL STATS) (fret not, the game calculates as it loads, meaning your adventure mode speed isn't saved in your GameSave file, so the change still occurs even after being maxed upgraded. Oh btw, time trial mode has a stat applied so this affect that too. ? ) Offset is 12FA0C, the bytes being "0A D7 A3 3D" (0.08 in float), if not, search this value from the start of the file, it will be the third result in. Enjoy the new stats changes! BONUS GAME TIME & GOALS ANIMATED MENU BACKGROUND Mystery Bytes Coming Soon ??? Amount of laps and racers set on an adventure track? (This will be tremendously hard, if impossible, as the numbers are so commonly used. It's like finding a needle in a haystack.) Don't ask for gravity, that is controled by the world files, and I haven't gotten my hands dirty in weapons yet, so don't ask about that either. O.T. Maybe someone could program a little patcher tool [that takes input] for all the hardcoded things I find?.

    Unofficial LEGO Racers 2 Competition

ROUND 2 is now CLOSED. Here are the results: 1st - CaptainGolem at 01:30:77 You lost control a little at the U-turn in the jungle, but other than that it was another clean, high-speed run.

Cafeteria 1.0 BETA 7 - Launcher & Mod Loader for LRR

Cafeteria! 1.0 BETA 7 Cafeteria is a Game Launcher and Mod Loader for LEGO Rock Raiders. It allows you to play LEGO Rock Raiders mods without manual installation and also allows you to configure the various parameters of LEGO Rock Raiders/LEGO Rock Raiders Community Edition. Installation - First, download the latest version of Cafeteria at the bottom of this post. - Extract Cafeteria and all its files into the installation directory of LEGO Rock Raiders. This is usually: C:\Program Files (x86)\LEGO Media\Games\Rock Raiders - Your installation is finished. Whenever you want to play, start Cafeteria and launch the game through it instead. Requirements Most new computers already have these installed, however if you are missing one, you may get errors in the program. - .NET Framework 4.5 (Download) Installing Mods Mods come in files with the extension *.wadp. You can find mods in topics on this forum. To install a mod, simply place the WADP file inside the "Mods" directory or use the "Add Patch" button. You can confirm a mod has been installed and is valid by visiting the "Mod Manager" tab in Cafeteria where it will display. Ordering Mods Using the arrows on the interface you can move mods up and down. Mods at the end of the list are considered "low priority" and mods up the top are considered "high priority". Mods are installed in order from Low to High Priority. As some mods overlap others or must be applied after other mods, you can order them in the correct installation order. FAQ I heard this allows playing LRR in high resolutions? You did hear correctly. Old versions of Cafeteria did allow this, however this has since changed. Playing LRR in high resolution has now been moved to the Rock Raiders Community Edition project where it will be built into the game. How do I make my own Patches? Please see this topic: Patch Documentation for Cafeteria Changelog 1.0 BETA 7 Added "Addons" to Online Mod library for installing things like D3DRM. Fixed case sensitivity on CFG:Open Added Context Menu Items "Remove Patch" and "Open in File Explorer" Added "Create New Patch" under Tools. This will create a new patch with file structure under "Mods" and added it to the Mod list. 1.0 BETA 6 CFG:AddBlock will not duplicate an existing block. CFG:AddProperty will not duplicate an existing property, instead it will update an existing property. 1.0 BETA 5 Fixed encoding issues with languages other than English. 1.0 BETA 4 Renamed JMP command to CMP command Added new JMP command to simply jump to labels without compare. Added online library for mods (not much yet still adding) Mod description tooltips. Added patch log to see the last log of patch applications. Added "FileAdd" "FileRemove" "DirectoryMerge" to replace "WAD:..." equivalents. These have enhanced debugging messages. Old commands have not been removed. 1.0 BETA 3 Added variables & related commands: VAR / VAR:FromCFG / VAR:Increment / VAR:Decrement Added the ability to Jump in a script with JMP <variable> <opcode> <value> <jumplabel> Added format specified to variable output {var|D2} = 01, {var|F2} = 1.00 Added the ability to work with ANY config file, CFG, AE, PTL, OL etc. Just CFG:Open <path> and CFG:Save when done. 1.0 BETA 2 Removed case sensitivity from AddFilesFromDirectory. Added Patch Extract and ReBuild into right-click menu. Automatically saves and reloads mods before rebuilding. Misc changes. 1.0 BETA 1 Too many changes to list since 0.9.3 Download 1.0 BETA

    Cafeteria Patch Documentation

PATCH DOCUMENTATION FOR CAFETERIA If you do not have Cafeteria or don't know what it is, go to the Cafeteria Topic first. WADP Files A WADP file is a standard WAD file with the same format as LEGO Rock Raiders' WAD files. The extra "P" means "Patch". It's used to bundle all the necessary files for a patch into a single file for easy distribution. A WADP file has two necessary files for it to be identified by Cafeteria as a patch it can execute. These two required files will be covered in the next section. WADP Anatomy A WADP file must have 2 files in the root directory. These files must be called info.xml & script.txt (lowercase) so they are correctly identified. info.xml This file provides information about the patch for the patching system. Inside it contains information about the patch such as its name, author, version and more. It also contains information to help the patching system to prioritize your patch and IDs to check for any patches that may be incompatible with each other. script.txt This file is the script that Cafeteria will run in order to apply your patch. The contents contains commands, one per line similar and it will tell Cafeteria what to modify in the CFG and WAD. The format is similar to standard command line. Info.xml The required contents of an info.xml file (for version 1 of the patch system) are as follows. All these elements are REQUIRED. It is however best to create this file using the Developer Tools in Cafeteria itself, rather than writing your own. If this file cannot be found or if it is invalid, it will not appear in the Mod Manager of Cafeteria. Standard Format: <?xml version='1.0'?> <patch system="1"> <name>My Patch Name</name> <author>Username</author> <version>1.0</version> <description>This is a little info about my patch.</description> <uid>rru.lrr.username.mypatchname</uid> <priority>1</priority> <dependency>rru.lrr.username.myotherpatch,rru.lrr.username.someotherpatch </dependency> <incompatible>rru.lrr.username.badpatch</incompatible> </patch> System: This defines the patch system to use to apply this patch. In the future, changes to the system will occur and this number will increase, you should always use the latest version. Name: This is the human readable name of your patch. Do not include a version number here. Author: This should be your username. Version: This is a human readable version number of your patch. Description: This is information about what your patch does. UID: This is a unique identifier for you patch, it is used to internally identify your patch when processing. This is required to be in the format: rru.lrr.[username].[patchname] . This should be in lowercase and contain no spaces. You should never re-use across different patches, this is to say if you make a patch that changes textures and another patch that adds models, these should have different UIDs. Priority: By default this should always be 1. (This property is depreciated since Cafeteria 1.0 BETA 1). Dependency: This is a comma separated (no spaces) list of UIDs of other patches that a user needs for this patch. If a user does not have the patches in this list, your patch will not be applied. Incompatible: This is a comma separated (no spaces) list of UIDs of other patches that this patch cannot be installed with. If an incompatible patch has been installed before your patch, your patch will not be applied. Script.txt CFG Commands CFG:AddProperty - Adds a property to a block. CFG:AddProperty <block path> <property name> <property value> CFG:SetProperty - Changes the value of a property. CFG:SetProperty <property path> <value> CFG:RemoveProperty - Removes a property from a block. CFG:RemoveProperty <property path> CFG:RenameProperty - Changes the name of a property. CFG:RenameProperty <property path> <new name> CFG:AddBlock - Adds a new block { } CFG:AddBlock <parent block path> <block name> CFG:ClearBlock - Clears properties from a block and/or removes child blocks. This will not remove the block itself that you are clearing. CFG:ClearBlock <block path> <remove children TRUE/FALSE> CFG:RenameBlock - Renames a block CFG:RenameBlock <block path> <new name> CFG:InsertCFG - Inserts the contents of a CFG file from the Patch WAD into a block. CFG:InsertCFG <parent block path> <patch file path> WAD Commands WAD:AddFile - Adds a file from the Patch WAD to a directory. WAD:AddFile <patch file path> <wad file path> WAD:AddFilesFromDirectory - Adds a directory of files from the Patch WAD to a directory. WAD:AddFilesFromDirectory <patch directory path> <wad directory path> WAD:RemoveFile - Removes a file from a directory. WAD:RemoveFile <wad file path> WAD:RenameFile - Renames a files in a directory. WAD:RenameFile <wad file path> <new name> WAD:InsertReplaceFile - Replaces a file with another file or adds it as a new file if it doesn't exist. WAD:InsertReplaceFile <wad file path> <patch file path> WAD:ReplaceFileData - Replaces the data of a file in a directory with the data of a file in the Patch WAD. (No file names are changed) WAD:ReplaceFileData <wad file path> <patch file path> WAD:CopyDirectory - Makes a copy of a directory. WAD:CopyDirectory <wad directory path> <wad directory path of copy> WAD:RemoveDirectory - Removes a directory and all it's files. WAD:RemoveDirectory <wad directory path> WAD:MoveDirectory - Moves a directory to a new path. WAD:MoveDirectory <wad directory path> <new wad directory path> Block & Directory Paths These paths are formatted the same, and must finish with a final backslash. Block Path: Lego*\Main\ Directory Path: Interface\RightPanel\ Property & File Paths Again these are the same, however they do not feature a final backslash. File paths must include a file extension. Property Path: Lego*\Main\LoadingText File Path: Interface\RightPanel\CrystalSideBar.bmp If a parameter in your scripts contains a space, for example in a directory path, enclose the parameter in quotes e.g "This Folder Has A Space" Comments You can put comments in scripts. Comments should begin with a double forward slash. // This is a comment

  10. Nexon's historically had issues making F2P stuff that wasn't absurdly pay to win, or pure cash-in games. That said, they may be cleaning up their act as they're currently publishing a game by Splash Damage of Wolfenstein Enemy Territory and Enemy Territory Quake Wars fame. Only time will tell, on both that game and this.

Xiron's Request(ish), "RR Chief vs. Lord Brevon"; I was attempting to draw Lord Brevon, but with a lack of a side-on image I couldn't visualise him in 3D, so I threw in the towel. Drill Master's Request, (Summerised) "Support Ststion Sandwich Line"; Because Paper doesn't allow Canvas resizing, I had to draw everything in the picture small which completly dropped the quality. Other than that, Enjoy!

Cafeteria 1.0 BETA 7 - Launcher & Mod Loader for LRR

Hey man First have a read of this: '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> to see how the patch files work. For the script for it (about 2 lines) here's a sample from one of mine for the level slot. CFG:InsertCFG Lego*Levels Cavern13.cfg WAD:AddFilesFromDirectory Cavern13 LevelsGameLevelsCavern13 The Cavern13.cfg file pretty much contains the level config, e.g CustomLevel { FullName Cavern_13 AllowRename TRUE RecallOLObjects TRUE GenerateSpiders TRUE ..... (etc) ..... ; NEVER REMOVE THE BELOW PROPERTIES! MenuBMP InterfaceFrontEndCustomHi.bmp,InterfaceFrontEndCustom.bmp,InterfaceFrontEndCustomGrey.bmp FrontEndX 72 FrontEndY 2 NextLevel Levels::Tutorial01 LevelLinks Levels::Tutorial01 } Like the above your CFG will need to use the block "CustomLevel {" and have those final 5 lines added so that it works with the slot image.

    Mafia: The Game

"It is a tie". Whom would they kill, the colonists wondered. Those that used the word 'whom' at least. "If the defendant is only voting to save himself, his voice doesn't count", a ghostly voice crackled. It was Xiron. "Ghosting again, Xiron? How very gauche." said Quisoves. It appeared that the consciousness of Xiron had not quite yet left the now fragmented Waffle circuitry. Still, most of the colonists agreed that Phantom Terror would be executed. So, without much ceremony, Phantom was lead to the edge of the oxygen bubble. He had remained a mysterious figure in his life, silent behind a porcelain mask in the likeness of a 16th century plague doctor. Some of the colonist thought he would an android, others, a horribly deformed cyborg. Whatever he was, they would never know. Phantom took the steps himself to exit the artificial atmosphere. He might die, but not at the hands a mob. Once outside, he stared at them for five seconds. Then the oxygen left his body. No last words, no pleas of innocence, a silent airless death. And so it was. ****************** Phantom Terror(innocent): executed.
