    Alright! Here are some photos of the very first vehicles created by the development team for the game. These were sent for review to LEGO HQ, who then started work on improving these. I'll post some images of those later.

    Cave Raiders (Rebuild of Rock Raiders)

    Another day, another update. I can see a release in the near future, I've currently had a check list that I've been slowly going through and pushing other tasks to a future release as they will require a somewhat hefty amount of coding to do. I mostly want people to find bugs and any issue I may miss with this release, with that said it will be the most feature complete release yet however not a complete game. When will it be released? Well as usual I can't throw out an exact date but I will say within a month assuming nothing takes up all my time. What has been added since last news update: XP and Upgrades - You can now upgrade 3 abilities at the Support Station. Vehicle Training / Increase Inventory Space / Speed Upgrade and a heal button (Aka Sandwich) Themes - Levels can now be set to Ice or Rock! Will add lava later, this feature is also mod compatible for custom themes without overwriting the originals (More on modding later) Paying for Buildings and Vehicles - Vehicles use the global resources to be purchased at the desired building and being constructed buildings require players to drop off individual resources. Objectives - Collect X Ore/Crystals and you get the win screen! Win and Loose Screens - When the mission ends you get a win or loose screen, bit buggy at the moment but it will in the future displayed individual player stats and mission stats. Multiplayer fixes - Several issues, including UI not updating on clients. (Side note I do mutliplayer testing myself so its difficult to find all the bugs, hence the near release). I've created/recreated the Cave Raiders logo. Quite happy with the result, while not completely 1:1 with the RR logo it has its own personality.

    All bricks/chassis, all the time

    A really simple but very useful mod that gives you access to every car chassis and piece in the builder at any given time (even ones you can't normally use): In GAME DATA/OBJECTS/BRICKS, there's a file called UNIQUEBRICKS.TXT, which contains "All the bricks that can go in the game ever". Now, see UNIQUEBRICKSGENERIC.TXT? It lists "The generic bricks - available in all worlds". Simply overwrite it with a copy of UNIQUEBRICKS.TXT, and boom, every chassis and piece is accessible everywhere. Edit - There seem to be quite a few newcomers who don't know you have to unpack the game's GTC before doing any modding, so here's a link for that:

    Yay, another funny and thought-provoking comic. I'm sure another pizza as a bribe should sort things out. Link? From Wikipedia: "It is distributed with iOS and Mac OS X and bundled with some Microsoft software as Gill Sans MT. More unusual weights, such as condensed, schoolbook and shadowed versions, can be licensed from Monotype." So if you don't have it you'll have to buy it. But what about Back Issues as a font? In fact that whole website is for free comic fonts it seems. Also, "I before E except after C" (you wrote "theif" in the title).

    Pepper The Car Thief Click to see at full scale This week's comic was based off something le717 said to me. If you have any ideas for comics throw them my way! I may just do it! That is, if I don't have any ideas of my own I want to do first. =P Alright, so I'm a little late this week. The reason this is late is because after jamesster's comment on poor vertex normals (which I agree, but I did manage to improve!), I became so obsessed with improving shading, that I burnt myself out and had no motivation to work on the comic during the weekend at all. It was only earlier today (one hour left of Sunday for me now) that I encouraged myself to continue on with my current goal of one comic a week. My one little nit-pick about the comic this week is that I should of had Pepper's arms down in the final panel, but I think it works decently as it is now anyhow. Here is an unused panel 2. Originally the current 4th panel didn't exist, so there was room for one more panel of Pepper running. Link?

    Raiders know zilch: 01/2 - A Double Bill

    Haha, these are great. I really like your drawing style. Not to be critical or anything, but I thought that if the last strip "Different types of Drill" had "This is NOT a drill!" in the last frame, it might be more ironic (because there's really a fire). Just my opinion though. The comic's great as it is. I'll definitely keep reading these as you make them.

    The RR Research Lab

    After undergoing extensive modifications, I am proud to present the new RR Research Lab! With new features to compliment its functionality. Overview pics: The lab's main new feature is the pair of containment units housed on both sides. As the name suggests, each unit can be used to house a particular specimen or sample. Through the viewing window, the lab staff can study the growth or behavior of whatever is housed inside. Containment Unit Pics: Last but not least is the lab's new sample analysis chamber, which has replaced the area once dominated by the sonic emitter device. In the chamber, an unknown sample is placed before a analysis beam. The beam then fires at the sample to detect its components. This information is then fed back to the staff, who hope the data retrieved can help them design new technology or weapons to assist the Raiders during their mission.
